went down and played it at the weekend. £120 got you overnight b+b stay and a round on the heath and Glen course. brilliant value and The Glen is a fantastic course. best ive played.
i love/hate that 13th hole- it is spectacular looking but it is probably one of the hardest holes I've played- drive is tight and then left with long tight second over water with no where to lay up- the lay up still leaves like 150. really well designed
Hi A little rule tip please. Steve hit in the water on the par 3. there was some talk about the rules. was it that he should have taken a drop from the line it went into the water. If he could have would it still be ok to take it from the tee if he wanted to. Thanks
Good question. You can not play a provisional if you suspect you are in a hazard. If he played one from the tee and we get down there and it's in the water then his provisional is in play.
Mark Crossfield If you are "virtually certain" your ball is lost in a water hazard you can not play a provisional ball. However any doubt of that then it's a lost ball and stroke and distance. Mark and Rory were virtually certain both of there ball were lost in the hazard, bad luck guys, on the last hole. I don't know if Buzz's ball could be considered being lost in the hazard as virtually certain or not from the video. In any case he doesn't have to look for his first ball. Also I never heard him declare he was hitting a provisional on the tee so regardless that was his third shot and the ball in play. Hope this is not to much information.
Afraid my comment is being misconstrued. Buzza is an amazing ball striker and pretty entertaining too. I play off 6 so clearly I shouldn't be offering any advise.

Mark, you should look at getting a 360 camera, would be amazing to have corse vlogs in 360.
Rorys swing looks much better. Nice work Rorys
With some coaching (mostly on the mental aspects of the game) Mr. Buzza could be a FORCE!
Buzza is a force.

How many earthling pounds/euros to get around that amazing place?
I can only imagine. Do they take masters ball makers?
jameswatmough Ive played it many times its not nearly as expensive as you would imagine. €180 or so for an early fourball.
jameswatmough 50 euro. That place would be at least 150 in the states.
jameswatmough Not nearly as much as you might think...one of the best value resorts going these days!
