Hello Zach, great video & very helpful :) my father had sony handycam ccd TRV35E , which is pretty similar to the one in this video i've been looking for my father's camera for years & finally found it! but the problem now is i'm not sure why it's not operating i also lost the charger but found it later as well, i tried to charge it but it's still not working :( i'm not sure if i did something wrong as i've never used it before or charged it either ... do you have any idea what would be wrong with it? also, the battery is already in the camera & i saw yours is working without even a battery so i'm not really sure what's wrong with mine :O
Zach Norris I got one from eBay for 20.00 untested (Originally listed for 25) and it work. Camera came with no battery and charger. Not only it works i also saved 5 buck. My camera does not have the problem your having. But i think what you have to do is insert an genuine Info Lithium Battery and it should work nicely. The only problem i have is the dial on the back of the camera that controls the menu but it is common with old camcorders. I hope that helpful :)
