Corundum is transparent crystalized aluminum oxide with trace elements changing the color. They come in two major variants - reds and blues. Red corundum is commonly known as rubies, and blues as sapphires. So you've always known about corundum gems; you just didn't know they were also called corundum.
The Duchy of Urnst was my home region for Living Greyhawk and they had a great plotline and some really memorable modules which made it feel unique. It has an interesting locations -- near the desert, lake, Greyhawk, Celedon, hills, etc. that you can still manage to use it as safe location which is still close to adventure locations. I ran a post LGH mini-campaign there with a Rhennee focus on ancient water gods/creatures and it went pretty well due to it location and trips to Greyhawk city and the like are only days away. I once ran a campaign starting in the County of Urnst with a plot that the PCs needed to sneak into Tehn to recover an heirloom left behind by one of the exiled noble families. It was a kind of Cannonball Run adventure with multiple factions trying to get it, getting through the Bandit Kingdoms and the Pale, and dealing with Iuz followers. Veluna was always stable of many home campaigns. Sometimes a starting point, or way stop, it worked well as a rival Italian city faction type campaigns, but was kind of too settled/safe to focus on.
Gellor was always my favorite companion of Gord. I loved how Gary tied in the House of Gellor with Gord. I THINK Gellor was an agent of Urnst or Nyrond one..
Hello Joe, I LOVE these read-through videos! I hope they won't stop after you get through "Z". You can always start reading through the geographical regions (forests, lakes, mountain ranges, etc).
I quite like these as well. And once again, that's a great shirt. I'm starting to think you might be a t-shirt wizard of some sort. Really info about the valley elves. I wasn't overly familiar with them.
I’m thinking you’ll pick up some new followers soon Grognard. Due to the new edition. By the way is there a Halfling community or are they scattered around.
Just say no to the recent DM Guide woke Greyhawk. Use the older, authentic Greyhawk material. Greyhawk is not 2024 Seattle, don't support WOTC trying to turn it into just that.
"Stay safe from Pinkertons!" will never get old. :D
And it never should get old. EVERYONE should remember that Hasbro is not above bullying fans.

Well done. I get these don't have a big payoff in views but that doesn't mean they are not of value. Some of the best music was B side hidden gems!
I prefer a world setting with unknowns. I liken it to how the relics and artifacts in 1st edition are truly unique to every DM’s campaign.

Glad you're back on these! Urnst was always kind of off the beaten path, other than the Ghost Tower of Inverness..
From the Wikipedia page: "Corundum has two primary gem varieties: ruby and sapphire."

Gord stories were okay until the last few crazy books.
I absolutely love these guide to The World of Grey hawk videos

Such is the hope!
As far as I remember, there's Elmshire, a halfling town in the Cairn Hills. But I'm pretty sure there must be another settlements.
The Ulé sound like Hungarians.
