If I had to pick the greatest thing about being in a metal band like Steel Panther, it would probably be a tossup between the non-stop partying and the fact that we party hard all the time!
That’s pretty much the same thing, I guess. Anyway, all of that partying has a purpose, because it helps to inspire great songs, like this month’s selection, All You Can Eat’s “Gang Bang at the Old Folk’s Home.”
I love the rhythm guitar part in this tune, because when I play it, I feel like James Hetfield from Metallica due to the non-stop use of all downstrokes with the pick-hand, something Hetfield has turned into an art form. And if it’s good enough for James Hetfield, it’s good enough for this dude! - Розваги

Satchel is actually a really one of the best teachers of all these famous guitar players. If you look beyond the Image that he acts you can really learn alot from him
He was an instructor at git in the 90s
Even if you don't look beyond it, he's still great because he's funny and he has a lot of personality which helps to stay focused and interested.

This is always where you can separate the people who "get it" and have a sense of humor and can understand what it's about, and the ones who see everything in black and white and are 'ultra-serious" (I have my "ultra-serous" face on as I type that, it's not as ugly as my avatar though, so rest easy).

Please, Russ Parrish taught at GIT years ago with Paul Gilbert, played in War & Peace with Jeff Pilson from Dokken and has been part of the metal scene for over two decades. Dude could've easily played Marty Friedman's role in Megadeth back in the day. Had similar chops. Great player who's having fun in a hair metal project that's actually making some good cash. Went from Key Club and Roxy residencies on the Strip, doing covers, to writing their own parodies and throwing a great party. Would rather see this show any day of the week over the majority of relics at Rocklahoma.
