A lot of guys freak out because they think they are getting too old and try to rush settling down. So they act this way. They want to have kids before age 40, so they go into panic mode. Got to just take it slow
sadly there are too many guys walking around acting like this, thinking their "nice stuff" and "expensive house" makes up for the fact that they act like clueless untrained toddlers who don't know how to act around a woman. then they can't accept that they are the issue, they turn women off but choose to blame the woman for being turned off, this is their toxic mindset. if a Nice Guy can't accept that he is wrong and change himself he will eventually become an angry incel after too many rejections.
Damn man, I somehow fell into the similar trap like this guy did a year and a half ago. She did most of the contact initiation, told me she loved kissing me, wanted us to make sure we find ways to see each other once/wk, then our last date she really opened up to me about her story and we had the most amazing sex. 23 hour date. Got me hooked. Even though I recognized she started the inevitable pull back, and we had not had the exclusivity talk, I got weak, got oneitis, and felt I needed to "fix" things. Sometimes, we can behave like we are in a relationship with a woman and give off that vibe without even realising it before she is ready. Then they pull back and disappear. To avoid this, during the 2-3 month dating period, I avoid suggesting doing things like meeting her friends or family, talking about labels, marriage, or having kids in general - if she brings that up I smoothly change the topic. I avoid suggesting that we Netflix and chill, go to the cinema, or spend a weekend away somewhere together, or even just spend a whole day together. Now it's ok to do some of these things if it's HER idea, except meeting her friends or family. You don't want to be doing that until you're in a relationship. I'm sure you already know all of this, just telling you what I think and how I go about things.

Things had been kept light on my part, and I got sucked in. She never really clarified what it was she was looking for, but based on how emotional she got talking to me about the end of her marriage, what she discovered after it was over, etc, I think she wanted casual and fun. She fell into the familiar pattern someone who had been in a long relationship/marriage can fall into when they haven't fully healed, and freaked. Certainly was a lesson learned.

Was dating a girl fir 10 months, and were both started talking about future plans (she was the one that started talking about it) 10 days ago she had a tonsillectomy, everything was up until that day, but the 2nd day after the operation sent her a message asking how she was doing and if there is any complications (we are both in med school) but she didn't reoly so i assumed that she was tired or busy, 3rd day after the operation still no reply, so i sent another message saying is everything was alright (she also has asthma) But then she said "took you long to ask" and that" people who really care about me called yesterday " , told her well i messaged and you didn't reply. Sge snapped more and after that ghosted me But because of the circumstances of her disease and operation i was genuinely worried, so the following id send messages, i know texting too much with no reply is a No but the context is a dusease and a pist op, so i though ignoring her during a difficult moment as well would backfire. But 11 days later still no reply. Did i turn her off? Or she just wanted to leave

It's not always your fault when getting ghosted. She may have just wanted a free date/attention, or maybe you're backup option... first option is back in the picture so you've been pushed to the side. Or she could just be trying to manipulate you etc.
There are numerous reasons a girl will go on a date with you, and only one of them is that she is actually interested in you. If you date a lot of women and have a lot of experience, and don't think you made any mistakes on your date, then she likely wasn't interested in you to begin with. On the other hand, she may have been interested and you did make mistakes that you didn't realise. When your mindset isn't on point and you are inexperienced, you can make subtle mistakes and not even notice. Maybe you we leaning in too much, grinning too much, agreeing with everything she says. Maybe you were fidgeting without even realising. Apologising too much for no real reason.
