I love the balance of the vocals that Lacuna Coil has between male and female vocal sound. That and Cristina has a beautiful voice, I love to hear her sing. I heard the song she did with Apocalyptica and it gave me chills.
I read that this song was dedicated to a very close friend of the band who died of drugs and they were unable to help stop their best friend from killing himself. It's a beautiful tragic song that many people can relate to about losing someone you loved and cared about.

This video is the GREATEST video I have seen this year. the emotion and the scenery is second to none. It could easily be a video about a few vampires. It takes one away and the lead vocalist is as great as actress as she is a singer in this video. Her passion snatches you inside to where she is and that ROcks. And the song itself is well so well structured and so beautiful. The Video ROCKS!!!

Karmacode is the definitive gothic metal album, coming after the darkening sadness of In a Reverie, the estraniant remoteness of Unleashed Memories and the mystical powerfulness of Comalies and blending them all together

In the years that came out it was severely criticized. Karmacode is ironically their darkest disc and one of the heaviest. The only exception is Closer, a commercial and isolated song, that is strange. The rest of the album has arabic melodies, a powerful bass, variation of rhythms and a gloomy atmosphere. And the thing about the album that I like the most is that Andrea Ferro uses his clean vocals like in any other album of the band, sounds really good. He should do it more often :(

She's amazing ... The best there is out there right now, in my opinion. I have my favorites, Disturbed, Tool, Metallica, Godsmack, Seether ect... Though this band is definitely in league with them now. I have been listening to them a lot lately ... My new favorites ... I know they have been around for a while though I realized recently just how talented and good this band really is.
She is a Phenomenal Rockstar. Love this song. Love all Lacuna Coil's songs. Some bands hit and miss. For me it seems, with a few exceptions ... The Obvious Metallica, Tool, Godsmack, Seether ... ECT ... Click right off the bat. Disturbed, became my favorite rock band ... And for years ... When I first heard them, " Down with the Sickness", I was like, wow ... What is this crazy shit. Wasn't sure I liked them. They became my favorite rock band ... Grew on me like a funky fungus. When I first heard Lacuna Coil years ago, I was like, well, this band is talented, lead singer is cute, she has a pretty cool vibe, good voice. That was my mistake. It wasn't until years later I realized ... Lead singer is beautiful ... Relatable ... Immensely talented, and just may be a part of one of the best Rock Bands there is out there today !!!
