      @@Eripme more like its a mix btw intuition and calculus of moves, i think a super GM can see like 8 - 10 moves ahead, and the intuition will do the rest

      @@graealex I did see the backrank mate, like I guess all of you. Antonios's polite "I know some of you wanted to (commit suicide in a winning position)" did sort of **repair** my damaged self confidence after not even considering the winning move, which he commented as "of course"

      There's a move selection process if you're not solving these pause puzzles. First if you see a good move, that's not it. Look for the worst move you can find. If you can't find a bad move, look for b5. If b5 isn't available. look for an inocent pawn push.

      Always try to sacrifice something when Agad asks you to pause the video. That's how you get them.

    This was beautiful, and not exactly what is normally expected from Anish. The were still many moves to play after the queen sacrifice and he could not have calculated to the end, not in a rapid format. He would only have calculated a few more moves ahead and felt the position was winning and went with it. This was definitely the best game I've seen here in a while.

    What makes this queen sacrifice so great is firstly it is in a rapid game, and secondly it's not an immediate win or checkmate, it's a longer win with a great finish at the end which is why it makes it so great

    on 5:55 Rxc4 cant be play because the other rook us under attack and would hang, they way you said after Bxh2 u just can simply move back your rook and defend, just pointing it out anyway awesome analysis and incredible game :D

    For people wondering (or it just me)
    At 5:18 it looks like as if Abhijeet Gupta SACRIFICED A ROOK
    but i put it up on a analysis board and saw that
    after bishop takes rook
    you can just:
    bishop takes bishop on b4
    after that black has to take back his bishop to not let it go too
    but after black does that you cant take the knight e7
    So u gain a equal point advantage and also a better position that is why it wasnt a free rook

    at 6:12 when agad says black is completely busted (I think he means white is busted), but what is the continuation, as the king can escape and a queen, a bishop and a rook (9+3+5= 17), is only a 2 point drop on a knight, 2 bishops and 2 rooks (3+6+10=19)?
