It doesn't have to be a competition :) Levy's also doing great work, he makes such an effort. I prefer Agad for his calm state of mind and simple-but-great concept (and Danya for the educational content), Levy has a bit too high energy for me but it's clear his content is enjoyed by many. What I would love is for Agad to show a game by Levy as a gesture of good will, to build bridges and to create as friendly atmosphere as possible in the ever-growing chess community :) #suggestion :)

It is not surprising if fabi had seen that move . After all , he announced his arrival on the big stage with a 7 game winning streak which included magnus .
Until the last moment, until the final combination it looked so drawish, exact same material, not even the imbalance of bishop vs knight, symmetrical pawn structure, very balanced, only black was a little passive. And suddenly came that stroke. It shows how many opportunities are hidden even in the most quiet positions if you have imagination.
I feel like most high level games are won by superior positions and minor differences between the players, but this is one of those games that has monster winning moves that not many humans would even see. Fantastic game!
That amazing checkmate was his reward for keeping alive the game and actually do something for the W at 8:44 with that pawn sacrifice. I don't like players that just play waiting for the opponent to do something and to make a mistake. Well deserved Fabi!
Well in this elite level it's hard to play games like this in a row most of them are just slow draws or sharp but boring games where one player gets a small edge and slowly builds it up to a winning advantage especially in classical
I agree. I've played against people who intentionally put all the pieces where neither side can even move. It's the coward's way out. An active game is better.
Exactly...Back in the days a game like this would be titled "Fabi's immortal" or would be included in the sorcery series I miss old school Agad so much
@@preachergallow394 An 'immortal' is only when both rooks are sacrificed ideally on their original squares, in pursuit of a higher goal. This game is immortal despite not being an 'immortal'.

Agreed, but it takes a special kind of player to sacrifice multiple pieces in the end game. And an even more amazing player to do it where your world class opponent is confused by your decisions until it's too late. This game is literally chess as an art form.

Proud of myself, found both moves in a few seconds. I would never find them in a real game, though. Maybe the way is to keep repeating to oneself "so feel free to pause the video..." every other move.
Wow, the white rook and bishop sacrificed themselves so the queen could capture the black king, with a sneaky pawn around the corner blocking the backdoor. An epic finale to an epic match.
This was the most brilliant move I've seen. Even beats the gold coin game because Fabi's opponent was dead lost after that move and double sac. I'm sure the popular best moves by tal, bobby or any super Gm come close or equal at best but this one can't be topped.
any tips of how we can memorize the name of the positions , like f6 , f8 , c6 ... even though I play well I can't memorize and name them over the board , any tips please or resource Thanks in advance
Interesting how the rook sac and the follow-up bishop sac are both deflecting moves: one, to get Black's queen off the back rank and away from A8, and the other, to get Black's king up the board and also away from A8. And if Black does not accept BOTH pieces, destruction follows anyway. Bucking frilliant!
Also, credit to Ruslan Ponomariov for allowing Fabi to go ahead and do this beautiful checkmate, and not just resign ahead of time.
