The Hogan Precision were the 1st Hogan model made in 1953.
Full set of Callaway S2H2 irons 3-SW with new lamkin grips, Dunlop rescue, and a new set of soft spikes all for $18.00 out the door at Goodwill yesterday.
Wow! Awesome finds! The S2H2 are solid clubs 👍
Awesome finds! This week I found a full set 4-PW 2016 Ben Hogan PTX with recoil shafts in nearly new condition!! You won’t believe the price... $9.99 for the whole set!! My goodwill always tapes up and bundles matching clubs and put on a 6.99-9.99 price tag!
Holy 💩 thats crazy 👍
Just found a set of Titleist 962's 3-S, Callaway Big Bertha 3 and 5 woods in a brand new Callaway Bag for $10 CAD...what a find!
Dang! From what ive heard finding anything golf in Canadian thrift stores is hard 👍
Well done for liking GolfVlogs UK - well worth checking out (our US friends might need subtitles for Liam's accent though!).
He's always fun to watch even when you don't understand what he is saying 😎
I came across a couple big bags of balls at goodwill for $6. Actually had some keepers of older balls, like a couple new Taylormade Inergel pros. I was obsessed with those VAS irons and the Lynx Black Cat irons, back in the day. I was going to buy the VAS, but the shop sold them out from under me. Prob the best 3 wood I ever had was parts I ordered from Golfsmith catalog. Used to study the hell outta the component catalog.
Same! I used to spend hours staring at the catalog 👍
I loved my Black Cat Irons...great clubs...and I knew how far I hit all the irons...never any surprises.
I don’t about anyone else but Ashley does it for me! Well done sir!!!!
Now you’ve got me looking in thrift stores and pawn shops in my area. So far, slim pickings in golf clubs and equipment. Might have to come to Florida on vacation and try my luck. Really enjoy your videos.
Every time I watch one of these thrifting videos I get the urge to hit up all my local shops! Wish I could find clubs half as nice as what's here but today I picked up a nice Mizuno 50 degree wedge!
Still a good find! 👍
Dot punch iron faces are within the USGA rules of golf. Edel Golf was experimenting with those a few years ago. They were surprised to find out the dot punch produce more backspin than the standard grooved faces.
You guys, don’t forget estate sales. Of course, the prices might not be as good as Goodwills, but I found a Mint Ping eye2 BeCu matching number set, 2-S1 and Zing2 BeCu SW2 and perfect Ping-man bag for $75. This included the matching 1,3,5 blond woods.
Newer subscriber and I am really enjoying the content. You guys have a unique take on the golfers youtube community. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Jared! Appreciate it 👍
I still play the Snake Eyes TC-01s. Awesome irons I got fit for when I was 15 or 16 and never stopped playing them.
those prostaff's are great hitting clubs.. i had a set but my pops gave them to a friend and i havent been able to get them back..
Enjoy your videos. You both appear to be having fun together 👍🏼
Thanks Chris 👍
Funny, I just found some Adams Speedline Plus irons the other day and here you found a whole set! Sadly the irons I found weren't in a complete set, so I only have a 6,7, and 9, gotta find the others
LOL.. I got Liam (GoldvLogsUK) that Callaway 1 Iron from a Re-Use shop .. really enjoy your content, keep it up :) Shout out to the #golfmates
So awesome!! #golfmates
Simon did not know you watched this channel . some brilliant stuff on here
Picked up a set of Titleist Tour Models for my son for $15, a Hogan Apex Plus lob wedge for $2.50, an old Hogan Personal 3 wood and matching Hogan 4 & 5 Woods at .99 each.
Nice finds Derek! 👍
This has quickly become a channel that I watch automatically every time I see a vid pop up!
Awesome! Thanks Kevin 👍
And in the first pawn shop they have drums too!!😀 I pawned my Wilson Staff's before I came to Germany over 20 years!! I think they probably have quite bit but probably more expensive than the thrift shops.
Yeah that place had a ton of music stuff. I found an MPC 2000 in there once!
@@StackedGolf now you are going to have to tell me what is a mpc2000?
Lots of golf mates around you never know when you will bump into one 👍
You’re a golf mate thats amazing! You’re gonna have a great time with that 1 iron I’m sure
#golfmates
I bought a full set of Nike combo forged irons, bag, and covert driver and three wood and method putter for $190 at a pawn shop. Plus I got a Nike vapor fly driver and matching 3H and 4H at the same place for an additional $100
i still visit rummage shops but rarely buy clubs anymore but still look for something golf cool. i'm all ping now, i25 irons 6-Lwedge, 3,4 and 5 hybrid, i25 3 and 5 wood, and a Gdriver. also recently added a see- more mini-giant putter, it was kinda expensive but it was a 'pre owned" and got a good deal on it and it's my xmas gift to myself. have a merry one!!! steve
I bought an Odyssey 2ball and a Ping Answer for a total of twenty dollars in a pawn shop. Thrift shops in my area don't seem to have many clubs but pawn shops have a few.
sorry, I misspelled Anser.
Nice finds Clifford! 👍
Still using a TM rescue mid in 22 degrees with Aldila NV65 shaft that has hit so many good shots i can't remember! My go to 160 yard club.
I just read an article on biggest golf flops and two of the clubs you found today were in there. The Cleveland vas and the browning
Haha yeah the VAS were ugly for sure but I thought they were decent
i'm also a rummage shop buff. i've scored so many clubs over the years and then will unload. i've scord 60 putters over the years. down to a few now and a few sets. still looking for macgregor rpm and or cgi irons.
Another great video. You two never cease to amaze ! Best wishes as usual from Connecticut. Spider Dubiel
Thanks again Joseph! 👍
Love golf Vlogs UK
We're all #golfmates here 😎
Been search the goodwills the past couple of weeks up here In Michigan and have found a total of 3 clubs! Just moved here from JAX, missing the goodwill finds down south!
JAX has some awesome trhift shops for sure! Crazy traffic now too
Nice finds. I keep going back to my old Ping G2 driver.
Probably the straightest driver I have ever hit 👍
I have a set 4-9 of the Browning clubs. They were a component kit from Golfsmith. I actually like them a lot and use them still after 20 years.
Ahhhh...that Nike CPR! I had one of those almost 20 years ago before I gave the game up for a while. Hit my best shot ever with it. 240 from the hole, top of a hill and completely blind....put it within 3ft.
yeah man...those hogan precision were the first model hogan's...made for 3 years i think...
Yeah I missed the boat on those 👍
Those stores are stacked. The Goodwill's near me are all like the 4th place until you went to the back
We get lucky for sure 👍
Forget Elkhart Indiana Good wills, I've already cleared them out!! Golf vlogs UK Liam's Rumsfield #1.. lol
OMP #1 😎
@@StackedGolf Ronseal is the name of Liam's 1 iron! It does what it says on the tin!
Those are Wilson Dynapower Bullet Back irons...around 1968-70.
Nice I didnt realize they were that old 👍
They came out after the Wilson Staff Fluid Feel irons. I still have mine from when I bought them used in 1973....finally had the loft's strengthened by 3 degrees, and bent upright by a few degrees, in 1995. After that...I could my handicap (4) with either set of irons. ( Upright because I am 6'6" ).
Just found a full set 2i - 10i of Wilson Top Notch irons from the 1930's or 1940's. Looks like they were used only a few times. Shafts are steel but painted to look like hickory shafts. No rust. Beautiful old forged blades. Original long leather grips are like new condition. Paid $1.99 each. I look several places multiple times a week and this is the first full set of irons of ANY type I've seen in 6 months. Ebay, CL, Play it again sports have really caused a collapse in the quality of what I've found over the last 10 years. I used to find 3 - 4 complete sets of Hogan Radials every year but haven't seen a full set for at least 3 years. I shop in the Durham, NC general area.
Geez dude you're a serious golf equipment nerd!!! I've been playing golf for 12 years and have no idea what most of these clubs are just from looking.
I still miss a bunch too! 👍
Ben Hogan precision irons
1st set of BH irons 56-59
Go back in time & get them!
Love the channel! Not sure if you've already done one, but you should do a Q&A video.
Might do one soon! I'll post in the community tab to see what questions people have
Nice video! Would love to see you guys thrifting Miami! When I went there didn't find a lot..
We'll probably make our way down there sometime soon 👍
Fantastic channel guys I am in uk and watch you all the time
liam told us about your channel great stuff mate golfmates are watching well done stacked golf
Hey guys I lost my ping zing pitching wedge. If you ever come across one. I would buy it for almost what ever price you would want. Figured I'd ask
On the look out 👀
Never checked Pawn Shops...good idea thanks
Yeah surprised we found so many! We'll be hitting them up from now on 👍
Golf vlogs uk are near you visiting next year on a golfing trip. Give him a shout and arrange something. He watches you .
Did you look at where that Ping Anser with the slot was manufactured?
I swear you have like used every single club in the world “when they first came out”
Haha for sure. I keep saying "used to use" when I really mean "tried". 😎
those hogans are the first set he sold. supposed to be awesome and are valuable and collectable . if not a full set -can sell separate on ebay. Hogan percesion. one of the few Hogan sets I don't have. mizuno copied these and were wildly popular on tour
Dang our phones werent getting signal in there. I should have picked them up 👍
great vids. i have been subbed since 2k. I live in Florida
Nice! Thanks for the support 👍
More air time for Ashley!!!
I suppose the issue with a pawn shop is that there is a perceived value and they’re trying to maximize. Seems like way more haggling where as a thrift shop is a lot less.
For sure but some pawn stores are too lazy or have had stuff too long and you can get a good price. Haggling is Ashleys favorite too surprisingly
Have you ever heard of Swing Master irons with a fox logo? They were a set I found at a garage sale a long time ago. I played with them for a long time. But I have never seen any others.
I've never seen them before and eBay doesn't seem to have any listed or sold recently. Saw the pics on IG. They look cool!
What a score!
where is that last one at...I wouldn't mind a cheap 52 degree vokey wedge.
Greenwood by the mall 👍
@@StackedGolf You wouldn't be able to pry my cold dead hands off that Vokey wedge if I came across one in a thrift shop.
Did you guys buy any clubs? Love the videos. Never even thought about thrifting for golf clubs. Went to some in California and found nothing lol but still fun.
Didnt buy any clubs this time. Probably would have picked up a few if they split the sets up. We did buy a Colts staff bag and push cart for $8 at a pawn store we couldnt film at 👍
Stacked Golf awesome!! You guys definitely got me hooked on thrifting. I need to buy a set for my wife (who refuses to play) and don’t want to break the bank.
Corey Pavin won the 95 US Open with the VAS irons.
Those Ping putter (that makes the Ping sound when you putt) always check where it was made? If it was made in California it’s worth thousands just a couple hundred made before they went to Arizona
Man! I gotta go hit up all the pawn shops around Chattanooga!!
Those Adams Idea A7's were in my bag until recently.
Love Adams!!
Hogan Precision irons.... pretty much a holy grail set...
I found Titleist irons from 2008 with Project X shafts for 145 plus tax at a pawn shop
I have an iron set of brownings. Has anyone of heard of them and how are they?
They looked goofy but probably prettt easy to hit for their time
@@StackedGolf I had a set of browning irons 440's, very low profile!
I found a set of wedges made by Hogan it was 1 of 1000 every made. 1992 Tom Kite commemorative set. Bought for $6 and sold for $95
Please do the 1 iron challange with Liam at golf vlogs UK!
Would be awesome! 👍
@@StackedGolf Jon I can contact Liam for you if your up for that challenge!!!
Cheers mate!
Make it happen lol liams a funny guy and would be good
I’m retired so I think I’ll be out thrift’n at the pawnshops tomorrow. Subscribed
Good luck 👍
I picked up a gently used set of Adams xtd irons and blue 3 wood off of my local fb market place. I’ve seen you lean towards Adams so I thought I would give them a try. Those things fly! I don’t like the sound but the flight is tremendous. Keep up the great videos. Also did you pass over a Scotty Cameron putter around that last pawnshop?
Do you guys resell the clubs you pick up, or do you just have a massive collection of clubs?
A little bit of both. We usually give some to friends too
Enjoyed it thanks
Thanks! 👍
How often do you buy clubs? Need to find the most obscure golf club and only use it for the round.
Lately we havent bought that many on the road but we usually buy a few here and there to use or give to friends
I’ve only just replaced my set of RAC lt’s, great clubs
So good! I keep looking for them in stores but I might have to go to eBay.
I’m looking around for a big leather court bag. Calaway or Nike would be great. Check them out and put them on your tube. I really would like to see the prices they’re going for. I’m here in Louisiana and they were kind of scarce around here. I really like your channel and you guys are doing a great job. Later
Float fishing in Florida you only have to worry about aligators, crocodiles the occasional bull shark that decides to go up River and pythons I think it would be adventurous 😂😂😂😂
Haha I tired but she still said no 😎
Everything you find is your favourite of all time, or my favourite shaft of all time etc etc or my dad......
Do a what’s in the bag !!!
Coming soon! 👍
Hogan precision!! must have rare.
Yeah I should have bought them!
Some of the older precisions and sabers can be worth a pretty penny. I know Hogan made some for Slazenger in England I believe too. Neat seeing those. I wonder if the whole set was there?
Nice finds! It will be cool if you can do a video with viewers from FL :)
We are planning on one when we get back into town. 👍
Found a set of Ping i10 irons for $50 at the pawnshop
Dang nice find 👍
Iron covers for cast irons,
That's cute tho.
Wow Bloomington
wish i could join you on one of these trips the uk isnt any where near as good
So ive heard! I think Peter Finch did well in one of his videos but havent seen any other really good finds
Greetings from the UK. What’s a Pawn Store? Where you sell unwanted items? Another great video guys. We love Ashley, she’s so nice, always smiling. 👍
Yeah, you either sell items or take out loans against the item. They will hold the item until you pay back the loan or keep it and resell after a certain time period agreed to up front.
+1
Cash converters, for example, in the UK is a pawn shop, or pawnbrokers, loads of them there
Charlie Crown Ah yes. The outlet for stolen goods 👍. Got it, thanks.
@@djme-123 exactly 😂😂👍
just get the snake eyes! . I love snake eyes! . I can't use them but I just love themmmmmmm!. I found a ping 'chipo' at our local dump , ever seen one of them?
Huh never seen a chipo 🤔
@@StackedGolf its a long bladed 'chipper' , it resembles a putter but then chippers do! . I shall give it some practice, but if you practice enough with anything it will work. interesting thing though
You should list the clubs you bought at the end of each the video and keep us updated with how much you sell them for if you do flip them!
We might in the future. We actually dont sell many as most of our friends get first dibs 😎
Great stuff guys. Where at in Indiana do you shop ? If Ashley is from Indiana you can tell with that friendly laugh. I am in Indiana and I have the same laugh, born in Ohio, been in In. for 35 years now so i'mno longer considered a transplant. I have close to 100 putters if you ever want to take a look hit me up I have a couple of your absolute favorites, tpm 3 and pings. I have like 25 bags of clubs of all kinds. Probably going to scrap some more of them just to downsize. Keep up the good videos.
I would have been all over the King Cobra Oversized Irons. I actually had a set right after they came out...and sold them because...of all reasons...I hit them too far! I was hitting 7 irons 195 yards...and really didn't have anything to hit from 90 yards in...they went too dang far. Only club I kept was the gap wedge...I stopped carrying an 8 &9 iron because I could control the gap wedge so well! Oh...If you ever find a Ping Zing SW...put it in your bag...(disclaimer: unless you're playing in a sanctioned tournament...square grooves ya know)! I hit some unreal bunker shots with that bad boy!
I so would’ve bought that pristine hogan wedge!!! It’s hard out here for a lefty to find good deals on left handed used clubs!!!
5:14 those Snead blades!! 🤤🤤🤤
I subscribe to both your channel and Golf Vlog UK. Very entertaining. My wife likes it when Ashley tries to hit golf balls over your head. :)
#golfmates 👍
Pawn shops seem to have better stuff, though I have never been to one. I went to a goodwill In downtown Beaverton and found my Clubs there.
I had a quick question for you. Where was the pawn/thrift shop with the Adams Idea irons and the grooveless wedge? I pretty much travel all throughout Indiana on a regular basis. I am from Elkhart, live in Indianapolis, and I'm in Bloomington pretty much every weekend. Just curious if it was anywhere close to me.
Great job
Man...… I don't know if it's just a Canada thing, but the 2nd hand shops I visit for Golf clubs absolutely suck. Lots of knock off crap, and horrible Northwestern Irons.
I'd kill to be able and come across the stuff you do.
Yeah everybody from Canada seems to not have any luck when it comes to golf thrifting.
Keep going early and often. You never know what will show up.
Yep! Sure enough, I called it! Went last night, and they had a 9i Northwestern for $5.
Those Hogan’s are a steel one of his first models
I have that set of top flites clubs. Gets the job done. I spent $125 for the whole set new
Nice! They looked good but for Goodwill prices they seemed high.
@@StackedGolf oh absolutely
What is the difference in the different 975 models?
Found a cobra anvil 007 putter. 2 bucks. One sold for 35 usd.
