It's tricky. Shadowbolt is good because you can throw it on the move. It's also good because you can spend your Nightfall procs alot faster than Drain Soul. On the other hand, playing with Drain Soul will provide you more Crescendo procs, which overall makes more damage. You will also be able to snipe free shards from dying mobs. So it's up to your playstyle, although Drain Soul sims a little highter than Shadowbolt. Keep in mind that sims are stationary, no movemement is involved. Personally, I play with Shadowbolt, because any Drain Soul you didnt cast or cancelled its channel due to movement, is a dps loss. And if you play Soul Harvester, shard management is less of an issue compared to Hellcaller. This way, you eliminate the pros of Drain Soul in a realistic dungeon, so for me the winner is Shadowbolt.
Well that certainly depends on if I'm playing with a good aug vs bad aug lol In general though, the group is going to be a little safer at the cost of a small amount of overall damage. In higher keys that trade off is usually worth it since living becomes of higher importance, not just for you but the tank especially. In a good group, you can kinda feel the difference survivability wise (from a dps pov) in having an aug vs not having one especially if they are using their utility well. From a dps pov, they don't really interact with you too much outside of lining up breath of eons with your cds/making sure you are constantly buffed which only they control. Can be very frustrating to play with at times, especially in pugs, if they send breath while you are still ramping and setting up dots. That is an insanely huge damage loss and not many augs know that and play around it. Do I think it's mandatory outside of maybe world first keys? Absolutely not. I got 3800 in S3 of DF basically never playing with an aug, and I know at least 1 group in S4 that pushed very high without an aug as well.
Thanks, I think it’s unlikely given that we are not super broken on single target fights but anything is possible. Good thing is both our hero talent trees are very good right now so best case is maybe they nerf one of them and we’re still ok
@@나일두-l4u diabolist demo has such strong pack to pack to boss kit, no downtime on great dps. And even if its a messy pull you still have so many good cooldowns. Demo indeed is superior for low to mid.

Thanks! You do use vt on st every 30 seconds, will line up with soul rot at 1 min naturally

For soul harvester sb 100%. For hellcaller you can play either, sb is nice for movement/easier to play and drain soul is nice for shards

I mean you aint got much of a ramp with Soul Harvester.
You set up your dots in 3 seconds and spam huge Raptures
diabolist demo will see more success in low keys & aff will dominate in higher keys
