Someone got mad at me for playing my Paladin in RET specc whenever I engaged in PvP activity. I had enough gold to change speccs for Raids too. He was a Mage and tried at one point to have the Guild kick me out. And I got my sweet revenge *OVER MONTHS* for that. Once a week in Ahn'Qiraj, you know there is this one corridor behind the _"female(?) Qiraji"_ boss, something-Guard Sakura or something. And in this corridor your guild needs to run through in one go. Mobs spawn endlessly appart from the few Elites. And Mages always spammed Arcance Explosion while we ran through. So I gave him my Paladin Blessing which guards against physical damage for a certain window of time. *MY BLESSING* so that *'I'* can revoke it by a "Blessing of Freedom" afterwards. Way before it would run out normally. And when it did... he alone would regain Aggro as the sole Mage, 4 seconds earlier as all others. *I killed him around 32 times* and I enjoyed every single time of it. And before I left the Guild in Wrath of the Bitchking, I spilled the beans. We had a system that was supposed to let members rack up points per raid, that they could spend on loot. Come to find out, if you weren't one of the favorites, your points didn't actually mean much. Part of why they asked us was we were the only horde guild who had lots of friends and people who respected us on the allied side, we used to do BGs and then get on ventrillo with them to discuss the battles respectfully, so we were broadly liked and moderators knew this. That GDKP explanation that Asmon gave was really weird. I run dozens of GDKP Raids every month and that is not how they go down. In order to pay for MT flasks, there is typically a 5% tax of the pot which is clearly explained in every rule. The leftover gold he mentions from dividing out a round number typically goes towards a bonus for the top DPSers/the OTs. I have never been to a single GDKP where the hosts illegitimately siphon extra gold from the raid. Every item is clearly documented in a google doc file that anyone can view at any time.

29:00 Once got ganked by a horde in Arathi Highlands, saw him run towards wetlands. So I quickly flew to Loch Modan and ran ahead to blasted lands to wait for him. 20 minutes later he still hadn't shown up so I gave up.
17:50 wasn´t the first lich king Nerzul(idk how to spell it) who was an orc warlock? So technically u could say he was mindcontrolled by the horde(and yes Ik thats not completely true) so horde still badguy xd
the first nerzul wasn't part of the horde, as the horde didn't exist back then, they were all legion slaves (all orcs) that would conquer anyone that they'd find the real horde didn't exist untill way later on, when some orcs free themselves from the legion
Ner'zhul was an Orc Shaman, who had Teron Gorefiend as his right hand man. Teron Gorefiend went into Azeroth to get a bunch of Powerful Relics and ride Deathwing.
Actually Ner'zhul was being brainwashed by Kil'jaeden who at one point was an Eredar converted into a Man'ari a demon corrupted.....DRAENEI!!! Basically because Draenei are just Eredar who after being chased by Kil'Jaeden and Archimonde corrupted by Sargeras were like we exiled were now called Draenei lead by Velen. So yeah the Alliance let the cousins of demons join them.
Arthas wasn't mind controlled when he burned all his ships so that his men would have no way to return home, blamed the mercenaries that he hired to do it, led his soldiers in slaughtering said mercenaries and effectively left his entire army stranded in a desolate wasteland with no means of resupply from the mainland. All so he could get his hands on a Legendary loot drop. Let's be honest. The reason people defend Arthas isn't because they think he was innocent, but because he acted in a way that is relatable to anyone who plays WoW.
I was the asshole in GDKP’s with a spreadsheet like, uhh yeah you actually owe me 1k not 850g based on what everyone paid for items, even assuming consumes for main group I should still get at least 950 thanks.

I feel you about those videos you remember for years. I have never played any MMO games. Especially not the kind where there really is no story. Where all you really do is collect and build and raid other people. I but saw a video on UA-cam once titled "How I built the biggest drug cartel in(forget the game)". Dude told this whole story about his struggle, his come up, his wars with other cartels, his set backs, his rise, to eventually his control. It was amazing. Still think about. Then I saw another 1. I think the game was Conan. 2 dudes taking on a map spanning alliance. The story gets so crazy that it gets into the real world with spies, mercenaries, threats to other alliance who had no clue, attacks on peaceful players bc they don't know who's doing it, until finally all the mistakes & false allegations turn the server against them, people side with the lonely 2 and the mega alliance is destroyed bit by bit. Eventually leading to it's complete destruction. All without them ever finding out who the 2 were. I still think about these stories. They were amazing

This guy is my spirit animal xD I totally get it though , used to play a full loot pvp game , a few days in I got killed and all my stuff stolen , took me 8 months but I found and killed the dude , never forgot his name !
Lol, ultima online? That sounds like an epic tale of revenge.
@@botep5529 It was Albion online ... Yea , these games have the potential to create lifetime memories :)
@@endrywnf I played that a bit, the rush of full loot pvp is something you cant get anywhere else. I quit because it felt like way to much grinding and i could never get ahead. Fun while it lasted though
@@endrywnf I'm also considering of giving it another shot
@@botep5529 revisiting this comment now that V Rising is a thing.
I love how Google now acknowledges "Asmongolding" as a word.
I got that sword on my holy pally on my first MC run, never touched the game again after that night.
classic content ist honestly by far the most entertaining wow yt content ever.
the stuff from barny uberdanger and pint for example is just legendary.
Boys it’s time. We need to make Asmongolding into an actual verb.
29:00 Once got ganked by a horde in Arathi Highlands, saw him run towards wetlands. So I quickly flew to Loch Modan and ran ahead to blasted lands to wait for him. 20 minutes later he still hadn't shown up so I gave up.
To be fair, the guild asked for it when they put him at the bottom of the list and made notes about how they hated him lol
17:50 wasn´t the first lich king Nerzul(idk how to spell it) who was an orc warlock? So technically u could say he was mindcontrolled by the horde(and yes Ik thats not completely true) so horde still badguy xd
the first nerzul wasn't part of the horde, as the horde didn't exist back then, they were all legion slaves (all orcs) that would conquer anyone that they'd find
the real horde didn't exist untill way later on, when some orcs free themselves from the legion
@@trolldrool Arthas did Nothing wrong.
I was the asshole in GDKP’s with a spreadsheet like, uhh yeah you actually owe me 1k not 850g based on what everyone paid for items, even assuming consumes for main group I should still get at least 950 thanks.
Lmao i remember watching this vid of you reacting to this! Gosh i didn’t realise it was so many months ago. Thought it was only a couple or so ago. Damn time flies. Still a great vid! ^^
17:10 yeah but when I’m alliance, horde doesn’t attack me (in a PvP world). When I’m horde, alliance always starts attacking me.
I swear your eye brows have a life of their own
Bothers me too buddy
Asmongold actually is the eyebrows
they are parasites in control of the rest of the body

That warrior was gonna use Mageblade for Diamond Flask Buff. 🤣
@@ownageDan oh yeah, no doubt. 😂
@@unfinest yeah but this will makes mages angry
Guys.. I dont say that warrior need that.. I say, that what probably what he rolled for! Any non fucked up retard knows that there is tons of better shiit for DF-buff. A smiley on my OP would maybe hint how stupid that shiit is.. let me edit that in...
I was the off tank for that raid for your warlock lol. I still remember that MC run.
I was a fresh raid ready character in destiny and got the vex mythoclast after bumbling and getting my ass carried on my first try. I will never forgot the salty screams of rage and despair from my teammates. It was a dopamine hit that I’ve been chasing ever since. Ninja looting comes close to that feeling
Did you do it? YES What did it cost? EVERYTHING! sadge
I swear mages in this game are something special.
Gnome mages are even crazier
Left my guild because I was tossed to the side as main tank for some scrub with less experience and shit gear. Always on time always available to raid. Loyalty with a guild don't mean shit anymore when you can toss your tank of 5 years for a newbie.
Maybe they just didn’t like you as a person
@@thepeanutgallery9980 BOOM
They probably didn't like you because you're an ass.
"He destroys his own guild because they wouldn't give him a sword" Thats my level of petty.

In the same way that green day is basically the killers but with a different name, yeah.
Love you asmon. Beautiful content. Hope all is well and gets better in texas.
my 30 year old hair still flows so i had to quit classic wow
At this point, I'm honestly surprised the guild didn't kick Pint.
“These are the kind of videos that you remember after a year” here i am. A year later lol
14:42 Now Asmongolding is a verb. 😂
Found both videos, thanks for the recommendations!
Man I remember that vid. I dont even play WoW and that story was golden. Dude outsmarted them all
26:46 “[Classic Andys] invent these problems and issues they have with each other, man.”
Wait... 🤔 So, Blizzard are Game Development Andy’s at this point?
😡 😒🙄🤯😱
It makes sooooooo much sense.....
The thing is that its a roleplaying game, it is your job to create some of your own content, no one gets that anymore
@@justincoltharp9701 I guess Classic Andys have won the game then.... kinda sad tbh....
@@boomkruncher325zzshred5 its always been a game where the most fun you will have is in situations you create.
@@justincoltharp9701 True. I’m now realizing how that player base is a reflection of the attitude the game developers have towards the players. I guess if someone develops WoW long enough, the player base mirrors their reflection back at them. No wonder the staff changes every so often, that’s gotta be unnerving to put up with.
Asmongold: That guild master is projecting!
1 minute later
Also Asmongold: I feel like classic is nothing but balding 30 year old men.
that warlock wasn't a demi god, he was a fucking sigma prime gigachad that bended reality itself lmao

Never noticed it but he had the Ethan eyebrow thing going.
Haha yes
Spoons at 6 literally flew over every non British persons head hhaa
It’s not the real vanilla experience without some huge guild betrayals
