That was a very good review. I'm sending this link to my Dad, who was big in the knife fighting community back in the 80's and 90's and even made quite a few knife fighting instructional tapes for Panther Productions and other companies that produced knife fighting videos. And like yourself, he was very big into the ability to draw his knife as quick and as efficient as possible.

An interesting thing about grappling with a knife is it forces the opponent to post an arm controlling your knifehand. They're basically forced to hand you triangle chokes.
