Thank you for sharing your adventure with all of us, your ideas are Beautiful I like the scroll pen and the stamps with ink splatters, the touch of gold is fab. 👏👏👏
WOW !!! Just beautiful !!!! You never cease to amaze me with your inspirational encaustic creations . I love that you show everything that happens in your experimentation , and that you are so happy to explain - in plain English - why it worked or may not have worked to your liking . Thank you so much for sharing your love of encaustic painting . Kind regards - Judi - Australia 😁🤗🌻
Thank you for sharing this idea!! It really demonstrates how many ways encaustic wax can be incorporated into mixed media art and I love the black, white, and touches of gold. The timelessness of the writing on a scroll along with the use of wax and ink is reminiscent of ancient times.
Love it! I may have to try this! I found a complete pack of register tape in a thrift store. They often have art/craft section in the store. Never know what you'll find!
Love this. Do you mind if I use your waxed scroll idea. Of course mine would be very different from yours and I would credit you with the technique creation. Ty.
I apologize. The etsy store is Paper Chick Studio. Here is a link to a similar listing from her store. www.etsy.com/listing/1127048099/cash-register-receipt-paper-journaling?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=paper+chick+studio+register+tape&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&sts=1&search_preloaded_img=1&organic_search_click=1
Your comment made me smile. Not much, I guess. I am planning on making some wooden staves to wrap the scroll around, but it's just a fun art project. I'll put it on my shelf or maybe in a cloche.
Great idea.

Awesome! I need to do more thrifting.
So freeing! Thank u
Beautiful! I love this!
Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Very cool. I collaged on my register roll and then waxed over the collage. Fun.
Awesome! Any photos or videos? I'd love to see!!
ThX for sharing your process! I wonder how this would have looked with the inking and stamping first before the encaustic paint.
Probably pretty similar, though depending on the paper and the ink it might bleed through the paper a bit.

Of course! The technique isn't copyrighted. Go for it!!
@@thefarpavilion thanks so much. I appreciate your time to introduce us to it so needed to check.
❤
I love this! Where can I see the finished version?
I'm not done yet. This past year has been crazy trying to sell our house. I'm really missing working on it!!
Thanks. Was there a reason you didn't include a link to where to get or how to make the paper scroll?

I guess I’m lost. What do you do with this once it waxed and printed?
