      Cheers, Richard. More to come in 2024. More regular updates too. That timing logic took quite some time to get right. 😄

    any way of sending the LFO modulation to external midi CCs (er... like the NDLR) ? on the road-map?

    Hi! Just curious: why is the "classic" arp mode a global choice and not "Per" arp? Thanks!!

    • @midicakemidi

      Is this something you think would be useful?
      Currently, all 4 arp channels require the same global chord/scale. It is what keeps them in harmony. The way the global chord/scale is worked out depends on the Arpeggiation Mode. In ARP Default, the scale consists of just the note letters (C, E, G), whereas, classic mode uses the specific notes (C3 E4 G6).
      Hmmm, Theoretically, it should be ok to have arp1 as a classic arpeggiator and arp2 using ARP's own method.
      Perhaps there could be a global option and then an override for Classic Mode, perhaps under the Steps parameters. ARP would need to calculate both classic and ARP default chord/scales and then each arp channel would use the one relevant to its own setting.

      @@midicakemidi first, thanks for the quick and detailed reply! Second, being honest, I do not own one, but I am thinking more and more that I'm going to order one (possibly today!) but yes, I think that possibility could create some interesting polyrhythms/etc. thx again!

      @@Ericuf I've added this to the feature requests list for a future update. ARP will continue to expand in functionality. Thinking on the idea, it is very possible and I don't think it would detract from the original intention. Watch this space. Cheers!

    V5 means 1.5 that’s a bit confusing

    • @midicakemidi
      @midicakemidi  7 місяців тому +1

      It's actually 1.x.5 (So, either 1.4.5 or 1.5.5, depending on which version of ARP you own). We used v1.x 4 for the last update and that was potentially confusing and so decided to call it v5 to make it simpler. This is the 5th update for ARP. We are working on v6 now.
