I’m across the country in Washington state. We don’t have Sharp Shoppers here but we do have Grocery Outlets.
I was barely 19 when my husband and moved in together. I suddenly realized I didn’t know how to cook anything from scratch!!
I didn’t realize how much cooking my mom did for me or the fast food I would buy. Grocery Outlet saved us!! We would just buy lots of frozen prepackaged food!!
In 2003, I was dx with Multiple Sclerosis and had to give up my career. That’s when I began to really cook for my family so I stopped going to Grocery Outlet. I was also trying to eat healthier and lose weight. Labels became extremely important!!
I used to find that their produce went bad rather quickly!! Thanks for the reminder that I should check them out again!! Unfortunately I’ve been using a wheelchair just over a year so my microwave has been very helpful!!

Jamerill, I’ve been watching you for years. I’m so proud of you of your resilience and dedication to your family, and employees, and your You Tube family. I’m thankful that some of our prayers were answered and you are working in your kitchen again. I can’t imagine what you went through in August but it must have been horrific. Keep walking/running and doing what you need to do to take care of yourself. That way you can then take care of your family. Thankfully your mom lives with you and helps in the background. Sending hugs and prayers for your continued healing.

Good Morning! Long time watcher first time commenter. I live in Indiana and 3 days ago, my friend & I rented a car and made the 6hr drive to Butler, PA to go to Sharp Shopper. Love ❤️ that we drove here to experience all the hype. While we did not think this thru as we should have rented a 15 passenger van to haul all of the great deals we got we will play Tetris and get all of our great deals in this very small car along with our luggage. If there is a Will there is a way. They asked if we watched you! I said absolutely and manager in Butler hinted about a behind the scenes with you. I’m not sure if that was true or not but thought that was cool if so. Next trip will be from Indiana to Virginia because I really want to check out John Henry General Store next. Thanks for sharing Jamerrill. We have had a lovely long weekend in PA. Our husbands laughed at us for making a 6 hr drive for a grocery store but have also made request for items to look for. Lol! Thank you again! ❤

My sister in law and I drive 5 hours from Connecticut to Pennsylvania to shop at Sharp Shopper. We stay overnight too! Great bonding trip!! Love saving loads of money!!!!

My husband eats his cereal from a bowl that size. 😳 Haha. He’s a big guy at 6’5”. He said it’s easier than eating 2 bowls out of the small bowl. 🤷🏼♀️. He had the big bowl when I met him. And he’s had one ever since. It’s “Mike size” my sons say. 😂
Your realistic totals show people how much we really should be spending to eat at home. So many people don’t want to spend much at the store but then eat junk out many times a week and it just doesn’t make much sense. You’re a great example of grocery shopping 😊

I'd love to see it all put away..where and how it looks all clean and organized (ish) real life. I feel refreshed after groceries and laundry is done. Weird I know..but I do.
I was sneaking a peak at those prices while you were filming at Sharp Shopper...Wow!! Prices for the same where I live in Southern California are 4 times if not higher!!! We have Grocery Outlet where we live but prices are still not that low...and the items they have are not your every day items...you never know what they'll have and sometimes it's brands you've never heard of...so Kudos to all of you who live near a Sharp Shopper!!!! xo
Same here-- we have a Grocery Outlet (Boise, ID area). I've never been to Smart Shopper before either. Every once in awhile G.O. has a great deal. Once they had big boxes of golden oreos-- there was like 12 packages with 6 cookies per package for .99! I had 6 kiddos at home and I bought a bunch for kids lunches/camping/treats etc. S.S. seams to always have those types of deals.
It is only my husband and I at home however, we are expecting our first baby in March. Your home-making videos are such an inspiration, despite my family being on the smaller side. I am so drawn to your calm nature and positive spirit. Lots of love from Australia 🩷

I wish we had sharp shopper and the United States version of dollar tree in Canada. Everything is so expensive here. It’s way worse in northern Canada. Places like Nunavut(which is a territory in Canada), a jar of cheese whiz is like 18$ and a 4 litre jug (3.87 gallon) of milk is like $15

Just found your channel! I'm a mother to 9 as well. 5 girls; 4 boys. Girls range in age from 25 - 32. Boys range in age from 13 - 20. I homeschooled all of my girls and started homeschooling the boys, but ended up putting them in public school. Most people thought that my ex-husband and I were crazy for having so many children, but I absolutely LOVE it. (I'm an only child!) I stopped having children when I realized that they grow up and leave home to get married. (But, now I have 12 of the most amazing grandchildren!) It is so good to see others out there that are as "crazy" as I am when it comes to my family and cooking. Now that most of my children are grown and married, I still have no idea how to cook "small" meals; it just isn't possible.

When we are in Harrisonburg, VA, we shop at the Sharp Shoppers there. We found out about it while shopping in Walmart there when a lady approached us and told us about it. That was so kind.
