I’m a 71 year old grandmother and have never canned a thing in my life but you have inspired me to try. It really helped me to move past a deep depression after my husband died from COVID two years ago. I love your inspirational messages they have really touched my heart. Thank you and god bless you and your family.
I'm sorry about your heartbreak. I'm sending you love today. I hope you find peace and joy and companionship. Life can be lonely at times, but you're not alone.
Oh bless you that is sad to hear about your husband but I am delighted to know you are finding comfort in sharing with others and trying new things - you go girlfriend !!!!❤ Xx
Ok I’m going to be the OLDER Mom here lol Why oh why are you beating yourself up Girl??? Even at a younger age I would have been overwhelmed on a daily basis with just 1 child let alone your group lol Everyone has down times & days that we just don’t feel productive… and that’s OK! You just do your best & it will kick in soon- please take some “ME” time it’s a must as you know. Tomorrow will be better…💝 🙏🏻
Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your gardening journey, without worrying about getting everything exactly perfect! As someone who has four little kids and a husband, who works full time, and a lot to juggle, and who also enjoys gardening, I find it way more inspiring to watch someone who just goes for it and does the best they can and learns along the way, then to watch someone waits until they have all the experience and knowledge, and has everything all together, before they proceed.... You make me feel like I'm not stupid for just going for it even though I don't always have the perfect scenario! And that nutshell, is why I prefer to watch you garden, instead of some of the" Instagram perfect" gardeners out there! I think you're going to have a great 2023 garden! ❤
I love how real you are. You don't pretend everything is perfect. When I see a video where everything is perfect I always wonder just how true it is. Life happens and you just roll with it and get things done. Your garden is a beautiful mix of everything.
Jamerrill, Thank you for sharing the hard days and how you handle them, along with the great days. I so appreciate your focus on the Word, your ability to share it with others and how you lean on it when you are having a rough day. I loved hearing you read the Psalm at the end, it made me tear up. I am also loving your garden content as I myself am learning and growing as well. You are a beautiful soul, who the LORD used to encourage me today. Thank you.
It really really does help us when we’re having “a squished up day” to know that we’re not alone and it’s going to be OK. Thank you so very much for everything you do for all of us in the world who need someone just like you 💕😌.
Im so proud of you Sis!! Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct your steps.. You got this !! Praying for you ❤
Mom burnout is real and overwhelming, it's good you know how to recognize those emotions and found ways to cope with them instead of spiralling, even though that's okay sometimes too
Sweet Jamerrill!! Don’t know what has you down and/or upset. I just want you to know…you are a powerhouse and an amazing woman if God. You got the right mind set. Go to the Father and trust in Him. What a good place to work out your struggles. In the garden with the Father. God bless you dear sister in Christ. Keep doing well in what you do. Praying for you today!!
I know you almost have super power but I’m concerned. I get it that the garden makes you happy, awesome. My concern is when the massive amount of produce will have to be harvested and put up. Tomatoes can be frozen for a later date so that’s good. So you’ll fill up all your freezers with tomatoes. But beans take a long time to pick and then can. Freeze drier can only go so fast which isn’t fast at all. Please don’t work yourself sick! I did that working 2 jobs and it took longer than I expected to regain my health. Care about you!
I love watching your videos . I am new to watching :) you sure are a busy woman and I love your garden and the way you save food for your family . I also love that you set and read the Bible in the garden that is such a wonderful thing :) the word of the Lord is alive . Praying you feel much better and your sugar regulates . I have diabetes so I know the struggles with sugar and eating right . Hope you and your blessed family has a lovely week ahead . Blessings to you .
I'm at home with a shattered humerus and you have no idea how much I needed to hear this....and your encouraging words. Thank you for being vulnerable enough to share with us. Being stuck at home and unable to work, drive, and depend on others is depressing. Your words are exactly what I needed to hear. You truly are a blessing to us all❤
I so appreciate you being “real”. You can still be such a blessing when you aren’t on top of the world. Sometimes that is the most powerful witness for Christ!!
I’m sure this has been said a lot already but, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. We all have bad days. Give yourself grace, you are doing all the right things. Good for you to take time to work on you also. 🥰
What a beautiful life you have! I count my blessings when things get rough, and it's during those times that I am more thankful for what I have. Thank you for sharing pieces of your life; you are amazing! ❤GBU
It must be in the air... I woke up at 2:00 am and was anxious and kept asking "why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing"? Thank you for sharing - I hope and pray you find your peace and joy for your heart and soul.
I decided to relax last night and binge-watch your videos, then I woke up, and here you are!🎉 I know you already know I have 11 children, but I don't think I ever told you how inspirational you are. I'm not only on other platforms, but now I'm Youtubing! I can't thank you enough for sharing how you did it all! Love from Wisconsin!
Thank you for reminding us about this verse. "This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." There are days I should have kept this in mind. Again, thank you.
I don't usually comment, but I do want to tell you that you are not alone and feeling not happy. It's been a rough two weeks for my family. My husband broke his leg. I am now guardian for my grandmother. There has been so much going on in my life. I have definitely felt overwhelmed and frustrated and all of the feelings that you are feeling. I'm glad that I watched your video because I know I'm not the only one going through the struggle.
I have been WAITING for you to do a business course! I saw you at our state homeschool convention one year and I wanted to talk to you so much about business!!! I have needed exactly what you're talking about AND how do home things shift when you get to both be home! It's hard! It's a whole new normal. That's where we are in our large family right now. You inspired me to start an online business. Can't wait for the course to open!!
Jamerrill Stewart thank you so much for sharing how you were feeling. Im sorry you felt that way. But ive watched you for years ans wished i could be as perfectly imperfect as you are having all together all the time and never having a rough day. Always being ao gentle. So thank you for the realness and the advice and scripture to get through thise feelings
Our hearts go to you, you are doing such an amazing job! Life is hard sometimes but your family, garden and farm is absolutely beautiful. God bless you and your amazing family
I'm so proud of you. My husband was just telling me about the issues with hay, so I know your concerns but I also know that Jesus can make all things right! I love your attitude.
When you began reading Psalm 95 my spirit soared; what a precious God we have! I’ve been down with a tooth abscess (caused by a failed crown) on the sofa with my face packed in ice, listening to your go’ins on, to distract myself from the situation, and praising God for antibiotics, pain meds and the resources to get an implant after this Monday’s extraction. We all have so much to be grateful for!!!❤️🙏🏻
I plant onions just so they bolt, the blossoms draw bees better then sweet smelling flowers. I have some onions that have been in the ground for two years. I get a ton of seed and lots of bees.
I really appreciate how real you keep it on your channel. You didn’t have to tell us that you were having a bad day but you did anyways. I tend to get moody and emotional around a certain time of the month. I too will sometimes feel like everything is going wrong even though deep down I know it’s not. I appreciate knowing I’m not the only one who feels like that from time to time. Hope you feel better soon!!
Hi Jamerrill if you plant the tomatoes and potatoes beside each other if one gets blight it will infect the other crop , that’s the main reason for keeping those crops away from each other , hope this helps
What I like about your videos is that they are real. You have dishes in the sink and sometimes tears in your eyes. I'm glad we can be an outlet for your thoughts and that we can support you: strangers that we are. Inspirational gardening again! The only times I have tried mostly everything was eaten by slugs , yuk! But I have fruit trees and they do well ❤️ in UK we only have a very small amount of space but a lot of us dream about having acreage! I'm glad you have your faith to support you x I am an humanist and therefore try to live an honourable life ❤️much love ❤️
Can empathise with you with everything being eaten, slugs, bugs, possums and birds. Life in Australia😅😮 I’ve converted to high raised beds, cover with netting and I’m finally getting salad veggies and herbs. I’m too have a very small garden space.😊
Getting outside in the sunshine and the digging in the soil is the best remedy for a sad day, chicken soup for the soul. I live alone and don’t really have anyone to listen to my sad days, so I play my favourite music up loud 😅❤get outside, hug my dog and then watch your videos. This is my outlet to converse and write on your blog. Thank you ❤❤😊
I have days like this also. I know that what I eat truly does factor in on my mood. Days like this start grumpy and feeling like oh gosh everything isn’t okay, not quite right, and then by the end of the day, I feel very blessed because instead of being stuck in that emotion, I choose to go out of my way to pray, spend time with my children and I make memories with them, we play/work in the garden and I stay off of my phone. Recharging helps. I admire you, Jamerill. You truly are such a beautiful soul and you’ve helped me very much. Big healing hugs and prayers sent your way. ❤
The children’s song “Count Your Blessings Name Them One by One…Count Your Blessings See What God has Done…” came to me. May you see your blessings and know you are a blessing to us. Your ministry of faithfulness, family and God speaks to many of us.
I haven’t even finished the video but listening to your “mama talk” about imposter syndrome. I’m looking forward to your business course because I feel that way. Like I have nothing new to offer. That things are falling apart here and maybe I’m not someone to learn from. Thank you for sharing your struggle. I have been struggling with working schedules here when I already feel overwhelmed with my 5 yo physical and occupational therapy schedule. I have 9 children as well and I say over and over since finding your channel “I’m living a surrendered schedule”. Thank you so much. I have tears in my eyes right now just listening
You know, what I like about you and have always admired is that you are real, Jamerrill, and I find comfort and inspiration in that! You don’t try to pretend that everything is perfect all the time, which of course it isn’t for anyone! I too, have days like that, where I feel like everything is a mess and I don’t know what I’m doing, and I agree that finding something to get busy with that gives me joy and purpose like cooking or baking for my family or working in the garden helps me feel better, some days you just have to give to God! He will see you through it, along with your family and friends! ❤
I created a get out of funk routine. Getting outside does really help. Give yourself some grace guys. I pick a few things to get productive but then I let a few things go too❤
i appreciate you speaking about this as we all get thus way its normal but we dont think its ok to feel all the feels and talk about it .. mental health is real for everyone. and i appreciate you for speaking and using your forum to speak about this topic so others know there not alone in those feelings it's a not a weakness
I have been feeling like everything is wrong the past days. I'm getting back to myself finally now. I feel you! I also tell myself that if you feel like everything is wrong, then just take a nap and it goes away. It usually does. I napped for 2 days, got my period and now I'm well. 😅
It makes my day when I find a new video from you! Started late in life but in the last few years have become addicted to canning and freezer meals and I love all your meal ideas! Have a beautiful day!
Please pray for rain in all the drought areas. I'm in central Illinois and every rain lately has dusted us or missed us. We are blessed with well water but its not the same as rain and the air is so dry also. Garden definitely has been affected by it. Blessings to all. Thank you.
I’m glad you show that just because a vegetable has a spot or something going on. You just don’t toss it. Cut it out it’s still good growing up with a mom who went through the depression we learned to not waste anything. Today’s kids will starve if real hard times come
I have watched you and Sarah this morning from the tribe of many. I thank you for this video. Both of you had a similar message in different ways. Thank you for all your hard work the inspiration and the reassuring voice that we all have those days. Your work thru UA-cam I believe In many ways God has guided you to help others thru your life and I appreciate your time and family all the blessings in different ways have been given to my family.
Thank you for sharing.. I am 33 with three babies.. almost 7, 4 and just turned 3.. I have taken in alot.. we pulled my oldest out of public school in April of this year bc the lord said to.. I decided to taken on a big move at the same time and put together our first garden which was successful but not as big as I had hoped.. my health has been better but I have somethings there to work threw and my heart has pushed me to not only get a prep. Pantry ready but also really get serious about the ingredients we eat and that means learning how to really cook and then doing it.. I'm enjoying it.. loving it but somedays I do feel like everything is wrong and I'm all wrong and not enough.. I know it to shall pass but it's nice to hear a momma I have watched and look up to for years be real and admit to those rough days as well!!
Jamerille is real as they come! She smiles through the hiccups and teaches other moms to do the same... She doesn't edit out real-life... It's wht you shines a light on, and,It's wht makes her relatable
Thank you for being the blessing that you are. I've watched you for years and have never commented but you always make it feel like you're a lifelong friend I'm sipping coffee and tea with discussing life
I appreciate your honesty so much and your biblical encouragement. Another scripture that helps me so much when I feel the way you feel like my plans just aren't working or coming together like they should and I feel cranky or grumpy about it is Proverbs 16:9, "A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps." So many times my things not working out and having to move to something else or another plan is just the Lord directing what He wants me to accomplish or to get done that day for whatever or whoever else's need. So when I can take a breath and release the frustration and say, 'ok God, what do YOU have planned for this moment, usually it comes together and I have the peace that follows with it. Don't know if you or anyone will ever see this, but I appreciate you and I guess I feel a release just getting it out because God has really been trying to get this one into my spirit. Love y'all and God bless from Pennsylvania Amish country ❤😊
Loving those large family noises. I sure miss that. My homeschooled, homesteading family of 8 children is mostly grown. Brings back memories. ❤ Those confusing and dark days will happen and you are exactly right; carry on. We also used that Bible verse a lot : “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” It doesn’t matter why it happened; I don’t think they can be prevented entirely. It just matters that we believe in God and persevere. God bless.
I'm playing catch up on videos...my go-to verse for hard times is Philippians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! I absolutely clung to this verse as I watched my Gma die.
When I am having a day, I try and clear my day as much as possible and do something that is simple and brings me joy. Sometimes just a change of scenery or task can flip my reset button. And then it is easier to tackle the days issues with fresh eyes and a clear mind. Hang in there and hope you have a blessed day 💕
Bless your heart , take care of your little self , hormones are a pain , you accomplish so much all the time , having a rest and a bit of time for you is important , think about going for a massage , a facial a bit of pampering ! Mommas need looking after too sometimes xxxx❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your feelings. I have felt out of sorts since losing my mom. I was her full-time caregiver and I am so lost without her. I am trying my best to just focus on myself and eating healthier. But watching videos like yours, really does help. I stay off FB. Tomorrow will be a new day....Thanks again for sharing.
Sometimes you just need to VENT. The best thing is to vent to friends, and all of us are here for you! Also, a friend of mine, years ago, said when the world gets on your last nerve, you just do what you feel you need to.
You are living my dream mama life! While I don’t have the means to homestead or have farm animals, I do adore getting my fill by watching you! Thanks for sharing the good, bad, beautiful and ugly of it all. All of us mama’s watching get so much out of your real life emotions and experiences, it’s great to know we’re not alone in the hard parts of doing all the things! Love ya sweet lady! 🫶🏻
Your hustle has so encouraged me to do hard things so my family can be more successful. I can't thank you enough for your ministry. We all have down days, thankful God is faithful!!
I’m from Iowa and I LOVE planting my Potatoes in June! Cool temps while harvesting and a great crop. Also pushes the canning of them back a ways while you are busy with all the other canning.
Thank you! I honestly have to say a big thank you to you being an open book. I started a youtube channel after my son died last year. As a mom to 14 children the day my son died through son weird situation both my husband and myself lost our FT income. Praise the Lord my hubby is back at work but we are on a much lower income. I keep telling myself one day at a time sweet Jesus. Somedays you just need to go through the motions. Thank you for being so open!
I think you are doing as much as any 1 person can do. I thought for the past several videos you just might be tired and you would deserve to be. Please take care of yourself, Jamerrill, you are a kind soul.
I hear you sweetie. People always tell me through the years I do too much and I look tired and I’m this or that ha ha. The truth is I’m a very blessed and very busy mama of a large family and also my work 100% financially supports my family. So like many mommas I have busy days, I have burned out days, and I have days sit in the sand and watch my kids play at the lake. Life is a little bit of everything for everyone and we all make the best of it 💗💗💗
You are in a very busy season of life right now, lots of juggling - family, food, gardening (to help provide the food) vlogging, several on-line businesses, mini milk cows etc etc etc. You may also wish to remember women go through hormonal seasons too which often makes us feel sad, for no obvious reason and life feel impossible for a short period. Just know your UA-cam chicken sisters (I count myself as one) have your back x.
Oh Bless you. Momma is tired and wore out!!! Please don’t be hard on yourself for a minute. Anytime you need to vent ( and it helps). We are always here to listen. From afar. Much love
Thanks for sharing that you have crummy days too. So often we see creators with ‘perfect’ lives that only serve to make others feel inadequate. My verse for those mentally dark days is, ‘It is the Lords work and it is marvelous in our eyes’. It’s helped me through many a tough time. Peace, blessings and hugs to you, sweet lady.. ❤
Keep your head up mama! You inspire so many of us mamas! When I feel overwhelmed it helps me to know that I am not the only one who is going through the things that mamas go through. Keep your chin up and meditate on those Bible verses that you mentioned. The Lord will bring you through. ❤ hugs!
I’m a 71 year old grandmother and have never canned a thing in my life but you have inspired me to try. It really helped me to move past a deep depression after my husband died from COVID two years ago. I love your inspirational messages they have really touched my heart. Oh bless you that is sad to hear about your husband but I am delighted to know you are finding comfort in sharing with others and trying new things - you go girlfriend !!!!❤ Xx
You can do it! There's lots of great places and people here and on You Tube to get information and support. ❤
I also have never canned - I have froze many things but, have always been intimidated by those pressure canners & water baths! NO MORE … I am at it!
Ok I’m going to be the OLDER Mom here lol
Why oh why are you beating yourself up Girl??? Being vulnerable is a gift to those you share that with. Thank you for sharing
Looks delicious and yummy 😋 😍 👌 😊 👍 😊
Thank you so much 👍
Is it perimenopause? That's what I felt. It takes 10 yrs to go through. Big big hug. Cry it out and them laugh with embarrassment.
Could be, I felt like I’ve been in it since around age 37, when my hair started going white 💗💗💗
@@JamerrillStewart yeah. Sounds familiar.
I second this. I am at that stage of life also and it's really challenging sometimes.

Thank you I needed a reminder ❤ this is the day 🙏 Multiple problems. But you relax me and Im still learning to deal with things. ❤❤❤❤

Thank you ❤❤😊
I'm so sorry your having a bad day, but you sure need to know you are a beautiful person 😊 a great Momma and you are very appreciated ❤ 🙏
I love the way you ended your video. 🥰 All praise goes to our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. ❤️
Amen 🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️
The children’s song “Count Your Blessings Name Them One by One…Count Your Blessings See What God has Done…” came to me. May you see your blessings and know you are a blessing to us. Your
ministry of faithfulness, family and God speaks to many of us.
I definitely hear you, sweetie. I’m glad you could take a bit of encouragement from this video 💗💗💗
Whenever I am really bummed out about something, it reminds me how rarely I feel that way. And I’m grateful for that.
You are such a beautiful person ❤ Thank you for being you 😊
It makes my day when I find a new video from you! Started late in life but in the last few years have become addicted to canning and freezer meals and I love all your meal ideas! Have a beautiful day!
That is awesome!
Today’s kids will starve if real hard times come
Listening in while I go through my day. You momma are tired, but the Lord has you in his hands ✝ .. Blessing from my homestead to yours💞
You got this. You are amazing in all you do.
What this says to me is the Lord is going to elevate you and yours 💜
Jamerille is real as they come!
She smiles through the hiccups and teaches other moms to do the same...
She doesn't edit out real-life...
It's wht you shines a light on,
and,It's wht makes her relatable
Jamerrill you touch my heart with your journey thru life and how you have overcome sadness thru your faith and family. "Yes and Amen"
Yes sista!!! You are speaking for all of us! My verse is… for the spirit of heaviness put on the garments of praise. Love you Jamerrill 💕
Me too absolutely ❤
God bless.
Helped me, Jamerrill. Needed to hear this, this day. Thank you.
Sending hugs from Scotland 🏴❤
We can do all things 🙏🏻 through Christ that strengthens us
What Beautiful mornings!
It's just me and hubby but I still watch your big batch cooking
Thank you for always being real❤
You need a Momma away weekend no kid's no phone's and a hot tub❤❤❤
I love to hear the littles.
Your being authentic, and natural, nothing wrong with that, in fact I prefer a "real" person.
I LOVE your words of honesty and encouragement. You are amazing!!!
💔🙏Prayed for you and your family..we lost our 2nd oldest daughter last June..hardest thing we have ever experienced.
thanx for always sharing have a great day
I think you are doing as much as any 1 person can do.
Thank you for those reminders
Oh Bless you. Momma is tired and wore out!!! Please don’t be hard on yourself for a minute. Anytime you need to vent ( and it helps). We are always here to listen. From afar. Much love
Nothing ever truly falls apart, it falls into place.
❤ hugs!
So encouraging to hear you read your Bible study. It inspired me to go write a Bible lesson for our church prayer group. Blessings to you Jamerrill.
Always know you can share the good and bad with us! We love you and your family! Y'all are a gift from God and an inspiration to us all!!!
You are teaching us all as you learn Jamerill. Thank you and loved the scriptures you shared! God bless! Val C
Hang in there momma! Your doing great! Extra hugs and prayers for you sweet lady!!! 🤗
