I was going to make a joke about you replying to this while on a sit, but 6 to 7 hours to wait for passengers to show up is way crazier than I expected! It's still great to know. I always loved simulating charter and corporate ops, but never imagined the wait for pax could be so long, so that would surely change things, haha
Ha! You have to be good at wasting time. 😁 Some pilots bring a change of clothes and get a workout in. Others read, nap, or watch TV. FBOs usually have pilot lounges for us to hang out in. Sometimes the days get pretty long!

Sit as a part of Split Duty is fine. A long Sit without actually knowing when the pax shows up - sucks :)
