Which class are you going for better stats on?
Warlock I'm going for triple 100s. Right now I have 100 resilience, 60 recovery and 100 discipline
@@damienmedwards43 I’m doing the same thing but I’m going for recov, resil, and intellect
I’ve got all my warlock builds, outside of some void ones with undermining, to 100 res, rec, disc. My hunter is hurting, I can rock 100 mob and resil, but recov is like 40 or 50. Sucks playing with that low of recov. Hunters best stats being in the same bucket is rough compared to the other classes
Also, I’ll throw in that utility kickstart mods are basically free mobility. I run like 8 mob, 10 resil, 6 rec, and essentially have 100, 100, 6. Also Lightweight weapons help
Hey there gmeiners. I just wanted to know. What armor is considered high stat??
Like do you aim for 3 stats all 20+??
Or it is ok to get like 15, 15, 15 and call it high stat
For example
Mob 20+
Res 20 +
Recov 2
Dis 20+
= 66
Or
15
15
2
20
8
6
???
Man, thanks so much for your help and advice! I'm a 67 year old gamer and I need all the help I can get. Thanks for making it easy to understand.

@@beautucker7404 I'm on xBox too. Titan @1575. Resilience @ 100 - Discipline @ 101 (Sounds like I should have been working on Recovery instead 😜). Just started on my W'lock today @1562. Thanks for the offer. I'll keep an eye out for you...
@@Postman1955 hey man i totally down to grind aswell.. i’m on ps5 but my bungie id is “Lred77”
Get a stack together. Put on Resilience finder on ur Ghost. Farm Master Duality last encounter. Get Artifice Chest and Class Item. GGEZ Clap.
I love you papa nole
Warlock: Res - Dis/Rec - Mob/Str - Int
Hunters: Res/Mob - Dis/Rec - Str - Int
Titans: Res - Str/Rec - Dis - Mob - Int
Additional tip for hunters: lightweight frame weapons add +20 to mobility stat while out as well.
You’re seriously one of the most (if not the most) helpful content creators out there. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these videos: we really appreciate it!
Just today, I finally made a build for my voidwalker with tier 10 resil and discipline with tier 6 recov all while having weakening grenades. It feels real good with devour.
G-Man, Thanks for your hard work and extremely informative vids. I’m always looking for a better way to survive on all my characters in PVE and you never disappoint and always spot on. Short and sweet and easy to understand.
Duuuuuudeeee. Thank you for making the graphs much more understandable. Top notch work. I've seen some graphs from others but yours drive the point much better to me.
Thanks for doing this
Solar Hunter, Young Ahamkara's Spine: 100 Res 107 Disc and 71 Mob, that's WITH Empyrean and with the optimal gear stat mods that I can fit into my Young Ahamkara's Spine Build. I've 25 Rec 18 Int and 33 Str.
The way I factor in how to improve on this when I'm farming for gear: I add the three stats I WANT (Hunter being Res being the MUST and Disc/Mob being both somewhat equal imo) into one sum and compare to the sum of those desired stats I currently have. If the new piece is a higher number, its technically an upgrade, regardless of the total amount of points on the gear. As was stated in a comment below a piece of gear with 60 pts total may be vastly better than a 68; it depends on the stat distribution. Generally (again, imo) any piece of gear that rolls with a DESIRED stat distribution of 52 or higher, before adding stat mods is going to be a winner. It becomes even more convoluted however, when you get to near that third 100 ESPECIALLY for Hunters due to bucket RNG.
Take the following example: I now have to figure out the sums of the stats I DON'T want on gear (in this case Rec, Int, Str) and try and roll for less of those with Eris BUT even if something is technically an upgrade of my TOTAL three desired stats, it may end up knocking down my Dis/Res from 100. So the way I look at my gear as it is right now (all masterworked, accounting for the additional plus two to all stats) is that I have 7 wasted Disc points, 6 wasted Int points, 13 wasted Rec points, and 21 wasted Str points. This tells me that my priority is to farm for new pieces with an undesirable stat total of 21 less Str points and/or 13 less Rec and/or 6 less Int points with an allowance to also lose 7 disc total. Basically looking for drops that have 2 in each undesired stat (before masterwork; 4 after master work).
BLUF: For trip 100's, assuming no + or - Combat Style mods/+ or - fragments, a desirable gear stat distribution should have at least 22 in the Armorer Ghost governed points, 22 in another of the SAME stat in the other bucket and a combined total of 38 of the third stat across head, chest, arms and legs. This will bring you to a total of 88 and 38 respectively and the masterworking of all 5 pieces will make you hit 100 in your first two desired stats. You will need to stack five 10+ mods on each of the pieces, including your class item.
Boom. Trip 100's without any Combat Style mods.
TL:DR; Add the 3 stats that you want together, if its higher than what you currently have its probably an upgrade.
The irony of my situation is that I could have trip 100's right now if I ditched Empyrean, slotted a Mob mod where a Res mod is currently and put on Powerful Friends. I'm trying my darndest to hit an organic trip 100 though.
Strongly suggest you check out these two vids in this order, and it'll explain buckets and efficient stat farming methods. Some dude named @gmeiners (:p) put together some very instructive stuff about what stats should be targeted for which class/build/playstyle.

(Final note: fitting in the exotic can be a giant PITA because Master/Legend Lost Sector exotic drops don't care about the Armorer Ghost mod. Buckle down and grind!)
I didn't even know the chest armor mods were reduced with Protective Light!
The fact that the chest mods are still viable, but much less protective may explain why the sniper and melee resist mods feel like they're not doing anything (even at two each).
Glad I found this video while learning to play Hunter. Being a Warlock-main who lived off of resil and recov has turned my head around with mobility.
If possible on Hunter you’d want 23 dis 23 res and 11 or more in mobility on all your armor. Obviously on your class item it doesn’t work like that so throw whatever on that you need. With the perfect armor you won’t need powerful friends and you can either spec into mobility or recov. :)
Is this base or with mods?

Thanks for the video man! I was curious what the cool down time was for rift per recovery tier so having the numbers is very nice! It’s interesting how there is a larger jump from tier 7 to tier 8 recovery than the other tiers around it.
Yeah idk the exact thought process when making the tier values.
Seems really weird that they don't follow a simple pattern
You give numbers, spreadsheets. Hell yes. Nice work and keep it coming. Oh and congrats on hitting 20k.
Let's push Gmeiners up to the top you guys, he's got it going on. And thanks for the Resilience chart bro.
And this week's Sever is "bugged" again. If you pick up the scythe, any kill you get with it will ruin the run as those count as solar kills and not arc.
good advice! I've taken a break from this game until a few weeks ago and blasted through witch queen and now grinding this season now
Finally a content creator that acknowledge the nerf to Resistance Mods, thanks for that. Great video.
10 resilience with whisper of hedrons ( gives you 60 resilience, recovery, and mobility everytime someone is frozen) and bleak watcher infinite turret build is insane, can spam 4 turrets at once with ice flare bolts and run around throwing riffs for nade energy and using the Lament sword and heal, use whisper of fissures, whisper of torment, hedrons, and durance
Thanks so much I’ve changed my build to 53 mobility I know it’s kinda low for a Hunter but it’s alright then 100 resilience and recov then trying to turn my 73 intellect to get 100 disipline
Been waiting for this! And congrats on 20k subs!
Thanks!
Friendly tip you can actually double dip on res buffs beyond 10 res. Well of tenacity grants you significantly more resilience even at 100 res. Tested this the other day
this is incredibly helpful thanks!
Thanks dude. I got 2x 100 stats now. And after telling myself I wasn't going to complete all the missions again on my titan, after doing it all once on my hunter - I'm now going to finish the grind and attempt to get 3 stacks of 100 stats
currently with my stasis warlock I have Tier 10: Resil,Recov and Tier 8 discipline
I really needed this, after the resiliance changes I wasn't sure if I should go for Recovery or Resilience on my Warlock
I was starting to wonder what was going on.. Paused the video to go into my DIM app, and started making a new loadout..
Can easily get both stats to 100, so thank you, I greatly appreciate the video.
It would be messed up if they end up nerfing or reverting the resilience changes and further more it would mean that bungie doesn’t play test things before shipping them because if they did they would know that it’s too strong even before of was shipped. That being said, I’m 90% sure that they won’t do that as they would have addressed it already.
I agree. I also think that for as strong as it is, a player has to invest in tier 10 for it to be overpowered. Investing that much into a stat is much harder/takes more compared to when we could just slap on a mod that did the same thing
@@Quirin15 Not to mention for other classes that are not titan will have to sacrifice a stat to fully max out resilience along with their designated class ability stat.
thanks for your help i usually main hunter and then play warlock here and then and mia of my. build would contain 100 mobility and around 80 recovery w a 60 intellect. now i know i gotta find some resilience pieces to get to 100. appreciate the help
Thanks, very helpful
Best explanation I've found
Screenshot the charts , changed up my build.
Now my hunter is suoer efficient.
Thankyou so much.
🤘
I would say titans benefit from t10 intellect as it makes bubble nearly a 5 minute flat cool down. It is most beneficial on solar though with both supers being over 8 minute cooldowns base. You also see a reduction in the kills required to get your super by almost a 3rd as cool down is shorter but you gain the same amount of super energy per kill.
Never push intellect . Ur ult goes up with kills . Kill fast and you get your ult fast.
Finally I'm new as of witch queen and it's been so hard to understand what stats I needed second for each class especially on hunter
Stats are important, but you may find you worked so hard to get as close to 100 in 3 stats ( hunter =mob, res, disc) just find that your build doesn't really need it.. For instance if your running a young ahaamkara spine build - triple 100s is soooo not needed.
If im running a stasis hunter is their any stat I should prio over the other?
Subbed!
We need a buff to Mobility lol, resilience is mostly for titan, recovery for warlock, but mobility??
A big question I have now with this fantastic change to resilience is how much benefit does Omnioculus have now when paired with 100 resilience?
Should still have the same benefit, but these stack multiplicatively based on the damage each allows you to take (40% Resistance = 60% Damage taken)
So 0.6 * 0.5 = 0.3 -> This is 30% Damage taken which is 70% Resistance.
If you combine this with 2 chest piece mods:
0.6 * 0.75 * 0.5 = 0.225 -> This is 22.5% Damage taken which is 77.5% Resistance.
That is how it should work but in all my testing I noticed this to not always hold when more than 2 sources were stacking.
Where can I find-up-to-date graphs or charts on stat effects per tier? It's helpful to know where the breakpoints are and whether progressions are linear or weighted at certain levels of investment.
Look up the "D2 Data Compendium" should have them
Oh and use D2 armor picker to get the best stat distribution!
I hope I'll live long enough to see a mobility buff.
I have 3/100s and I've started saving really high intellect gear pieces on the chance they do some shit next season like with resistance 😅
Smart man
they have to make the general use of mob, rec, and res more linear among the level tiers because every stat only gets a real gain at 80+... every number below 80 doesnt feel valuable at all.
Other than resilience, I just showed the COMPLETE opposite in this video. You can get HUGE benefits from the first few tiers.
Dam, so time of recovery and int have finally passed huh? Over 2 years since armour 2.0, but those stats were dominant even before
Did the way resilience works also change PvP wise?
how come no one ever builds towards supers? I feel like dropping nova bombs all over would be awesome in the end
Building into Intellect just isn't worth it. You get barely better cooldowns.
And the way the game is currently set up, weapons, abilities, and mods give way more super energy.
@@gmeinersYT ah I see. darn
I have 80 Mobil 80 resil 80 recov 70 disc 50 int 70 strength. Is this a good spread? I also have armor that Maxxes out Mobil recov and discipline with 80 strength. Are these solid?
For my titan it’s resilience, discipline , strength .
Hunter - mobility , recovery , intellect .
Warlock - recovery , discipline , strength/ intellect
Is there a website where you got those graphs from?
Your point about two stats being 100 is just not true, it's literally impossible without some year 1 armor pieces if you don't use powerful friends or fragments to boost your stats. You can have a max of 216 points in the top pool as you said, but 18 points minimum will be in your lowest stat, leaving you 198 to split between the other two. One at 10 and one at 9 is your best distribution possible.
OK Solstice here : question as a titan is if I can go 100 Resilience and 100 Recovery but what about the others like grenade and melee...? That don't leave much for the others for sure.
I’d say for Hunter (Mobility, Res, Discipline), Titan (Res, Recov, Strength), Warlock (Res, Recov, Discipline). In MY opinion!
@@deejayy8303 That works for me. I like to spread it out more though. grenade and melee are big for me too. But i know they don't do any good if im dead LOL
For Hunters I think the trend is going towards survivability that's no longer dependent on Recovery as we've seen in Void and Solar 3.0 (Invis and Restoration).
Void Hunters dont care about Recov anymore, and Solar as well can just use Healing nades (After classy restoration leaves).
I think you're 100% right that Hunters should go for 100 mob and 100 resil now. Hopefully Arc 3.0 gives hunters the correct tools. We'll have to see, but my money's on Arc classes getting reflect (like Arcstrider) and or blind and whatnot.
I really hope arc comes with some more damage resistance, would make choosing which subclass to run hard. Which would be good bc everything should be viable
what about strength for a void hunter snare bomb invisibiltiy build? combined with dodge
Could help, but omni-oculous exists, graviton forfeit gives large invis uptime, and gambler's dodge gives smoke bombs back and makes u invis so I don't see the need for strength in most invis build cases
Time stamps would be great!
When did they nerf the resist mods on the chest? I don't remember them talking about that
Silent nerf to my knowledge
@@gmeinersYT so thats why its easier to die now
@@gmeinersYT well that's rude 😤
Is 100 resilience and 91 mobility good ?
Such bs DMG resistance is tied to resilience, how convenient for titans, smh
Titan and Warlock are easy, 100 Resil, high Recov. I still don't know what to do for my Hunter though. Obviously 100 resil but after that I don't know.
mobility is good on hunters
Is all this still true in season 19, Seraph (Dec 2022)?
So hunter dodge cooldown is relatively low to begin with and sacrificing recov or resil for mobility doesn’t seem like a good idea. Especially when you can use well of utility and utility kickstart to get dodge back and not have to run an exotic to get health back. So I’m pretty torn on what to use but I still think resil and recov is the play even on hunter.
Does anyone know how fast the titan shield returns after use with t10?
Looks like 20s for towering, 16s for rally barricade
is this still good for right now in 2023?
can you still have 40% if ur between 90-100 resil? (eg 93, or 97pts)
because it still says 40%, just not maxed out at tier10
Nah you get each benefit when you hit the exact number
@@gmeinersYT so push them to 100? :(
What do tiers refer to?
Each 10
My fear g is that It gets nerfed
did anyone notice how bungo nerfed crafted weapons leveling, now shuro chi like dim shows gives partial progress for example 71.4%, you need 3 ads for 1% kill where previous season 1 kill was 1%. next this week all patrols you take in leviathan give zero progress on crafted weapons level. last week they went so fast. dont know if its classic bungo bugs or classic bungo nefs. like those imbeciles deleted taken mods and disabled cheeseforever all old armor. 300 pieces. this is respect for your wasted time in that stupid game. we should sue bungo
What stats you think are gunna be top 3 for…. Let’s just say arc hunter melee/punch build? Resilience Mobility and discipline. Or split mobility and recovery 50/50
This is prep for arc 3.0 sry didn’t specify in the comment above
recovery probably won't help because you are taking constant damage so prolly mobility.
But combination blow heals and provides infinite dodge if you do the combo right, so that kinda makes mobility less useful. LOL, so idrk
Definitely still discipline tho IMO, melee comes back from gambler's dodge with that build.
@@gmeinersYT it doesnt make mobility less useful...high mobility is there to govern dodge cooldown. When u invariably fuxk up the loop and have to wait on the CD mobility is the difference between waiting 30 something seconds and 18 seconds.
The only useless stat is strength because of gamble dodge and max strength not bringing back melee faster than dodge coming back.
Too 3 stats in priority for a Titan??
wat do u mean by tiers
It shows u if u hover over ur armor
What about pvp?
In a 3v3 sacrificing resilience for recovery is better and having mobility to dodge out is better. You can survive a peek fire. Recovering from your damage faster to engage the enemy before they recover is better. If you don't recover fast enough, I GL you around the corner 😛.
My titan has 100 resilience and 100 recovery and 100 strength is that good?
No
yes
