Hello. I have yabbie traps, in VIC very strict on rules and we are allowed to use the triangle shape nets, they allow for other animals to escape like you said turtles, fish and platypus. Am I allowed to use my triangle shape nets here in QLD? I see most are using the pots, but we don't use them at all down south, it's triangles or rectangle square box traps.
Yes you can use your Southern traps here in Queensland, but the funnel pots with the four entrances are much higher productive yabby pots in QLD.
