This is one of those songs you can listen to over and over again a zillion times and not get tired of it. In fact, it grows on you more and more. Thank you, Mr. Lanois. A beautiful video accompanied with beautiful music. ❤❤❤
I couldn't tell you how many versions of this song by Daniel I've listened to. They are all pretty great, because it's an awesome song. But I haven't found one live version that sounds as "clean" as the original recording. I'm reminded of an interview with David Lindley and Jackson Browne from years ago, subject: David's slide guitar break and coda on "These Days". David said he could never do it exactly like it was on the record....each time was a little different. Like the melody had its own life and couldn't be remembered rotely. If you've seen JB do These Days in concert you know what I'm talking about. Ok, I'm drunk and rambling ...peace out.
this big little fan is delighted.............Daniel Lanois is nearly all I Iisten ot as of late, home and van, always a super treat to see sumpin' new in my sub updates, from abcforall..., this was delicious, pedal steel heavenly .... thankyou for the posting!;-)sincerely, LLC
I stopped in to see if you had something new. And there was another of your beautiful lanois vids. It's lovely. Calm, soothing, and as always perfectly melodious. Thank you for another gift abcforall. I'm also wondering who shot the footage.
I live in Bruges and I recently discovered Daniel Lanois' music. This is one lovely video. Specially if you can tell the exact locations of every place in this video :)
The version from that soundtrack album was actually Dan! It's credited to him and he actually performed that on an album Trip Around in '93. ua-cam.com/video/h-uh3YKXakE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=DanLanois This link is live version that inspired the song that was recorded in studio for the soundtrack

Underrated masterpiece of music-only. Love this track. Thank you...
How is it possible that this song only has 20k views? I've been watching (listening) this a thousand times over the years..
It's a mystery, thanks for listening/watching
