Before we even had 1 LEGO room in our house, we thought it would be a good idea to order 10kg of bulk Lego to give us a collection of bricks to act as a base for big building jobs like the Lego city. Those same 10kg of LEGO have sat in the corner of both Lego rooms we now have as part of the conversion process, still in their original bags, never making their way into our parts inventory. Until today! I've set aside an entire day to dedicate to sorting through all of this bulk and finally getting the Lego City room organised. Ish.

I love seeing things being sorted. It makes my autistic brain and heart happy
hyperfixating on sorting things and making a mess to clean, is so relatable content
I like that you have put your name on your lego sorting tray, for the avoidance of any doubt who it belongs to
It’s important that Anna doesn’t steal it
I noticed that, adding his surname was a great touch, in case there is another Kevin in the house, very logical. 🤣
Cracking work with the channel Kev
Hi Kev,
Just a couple of things that I have found really useful for my own lego storage:
There are storage boxes available from 'A Place For Everything' - basically they are giant Lego bricks with removable, slide-on lids, available in differents sizes, colours, and they're stackable. Quite pricey but they do look good!
The other thing is the Creative Suitcase, set 10713. I find these really useful, especially for storing smaller pieces - they clip shut and come with a selection of removable dividers so you can adjust the size of the compartments. The yellow one I think is still available, but I have found red, blue, and black occasionally available on ebay/ bricklink, with various contents. I started with a couple of yellow ones a few years ago and now I have a stack of about 15! To be honest, I think Lego are missing a trick by not marketing these as just storage boxes - very useful indeed.
Great video and process! Really enjoying the time lapses and overhead footage. 😊
Room looks brilliant Kev it's really come along
Ah this reminds me of the start of my lego journey. It started with just a few boxes of unsorted lego, moved into jewellery boxes and stackable draws. Then to takeaway containers and now I have completely redesigned my lego room for Alex drawers. I look forward to all the changes as your collection grows.
U have the same ideas as me lol. Filing the manuals, same Amazon sorter, plastic draws under the table lol. Love watching Ur stuff. I got shorts on mine if your interested in seeing my city
your lego room looks the same size of my spare bedroom i don’t think i could cope putting my lego in that size room i like to spread all my storage boxes out to build😊
Another great video 🎉thanks Kev!
You really need to get more organised if you want to take city building seriously and enjoy it. Much more wall-shelving required and I think you need to utilise the space in that room much better. Good luck with the progress - think you're gonna need it!
past kev is such a rascal
60 looks like a crusty starfish
Could you do a video on how you clean your Lego always interested in what other ways people do it
Where did you find your wooden Lego sorter?
