In this episode of Revival Daily, Alan talks a lot about how we make custom seats, jumps on the new BMW Urban GS for a test ride, and then bothers Alec about Harley Davidson VLH he's been working on.

Thanks for the seat shaping demo! And explaining some of the things to do to a brand new bike. Sweet.
Nice work!
We love the daily's keep them up!!
Love the Wham! - Careless Whisper in the bagground when Alan talks to Alec 😂😂😂
it's actually this: ua-cam.com/video/FjLhLgdhzMQ/v-deo.html :)
I want that BMW! Love the test rides, fellas.
I have it
For some reason I keep coming back to this video. Great looking setup and fits this rider well.
My favourite BMW and the only one that would tempt me back to the marque.
Yes please, how to make a seat! possibly could do two videos, one very in-depth discussion of all the foams and other materials and where to buy, and then another on how to make a seat.
I too liked the background music, love the daily’s.
Possible to make a larger custom seat for the Urban to make it better for 2 up touring that has similar styling to the original? Looking to possibly get one next year.
It's "only" around 110hp though. But I love the bike!
Could you tell more about urban gs suspension? Did you change it front and rear? And what at the front, just inner system?
The suspension is a complete replacement of the fork legs, but it retains the stock wheel, brakes, and triple clamp. The forks are 43mm conventional Ohlins. Then in the back the complete spring/shock assembly has been replaced with a new Ohlins shock. Damping and spring rates are selected for the specific riding and rider preferences.
If you are interested in getting some suspension upgrades, contact custom@revivalcycles.com and we can get you setup with what you need. To get the most out of your suspension, it is best to talk through what your goals are.
Hi, great video....can you tell me if those are stock bars on the Urban GS....they look quite high...? Steve
hi steve , i'm not alan, but i can answer your question. 🧐 since i'm lucky to own such a beautiful roaring beast. Its not the stock bars. Stock bars are lower, silver and without strut. greetings from bavaria, Marc
when you gonna replace that chain bruh!
Is that dark screen on the urban gs from Wonderlich?
yes, it seems to be
Is that the new slayer remix for Alec's section? Very nice!
they also forgot to bleep Alec's entire rant about wrecking rentals. LOL
This bike looks so much better than the touring gs. Much closer to the original.
tonight the music seemed so loud, actually it really does rather listen to Alec than Georgie boy

Do you guys work 7 days a week ? I've often heard you you referring to working Saturday and Sunday. Just interested because here in New Zealand hardly any machine shops/ fab shops are open in the weekend and retail bike shop only open for 1/2 Saturday.
Yes Tony, we often work 7 days a week and our retail store is also open 7 days a week. It helps that we love what we do.
What helmet is that you're wearing on this ride? Cool ride though ;-)
That's a Bullitt Carbon Candy Blue, a retired colorway from Bell
