Hey folks, I got the All on X dental surgery two months ago, versus buying a new car, I needed new teeth, I found a doctor that did the surgery perfectly, none of the implants failed, and I have never been happier with my smile. And am so thankful I got the surgery done. My smile looks beautiful
i loved your video. I’m a hygienist and the hygienist featured in the video did an awesome job. So impressed and all the info was spot on. Way to go! I’m sure your video will be super helpful to a lot of people.
Thank you for this information. I've decided to forfeit a new car for a new smile this year. Just a few more months of saving and I'll be heading to Dr. Golpa in Tyson, Virginia. Thank you so much for sharing your journey all these years. In the time I've been watching your channel I've learned a lot about the process of dental restoration and know what I want. You are so incredibly relatable too! Thank you again for opening up your life to us all. You are a blessing.
Did you have your implant surgery done? I’m on my two month mark and had a check up Friday, they did intergrate so far, so I’m pretty please, it was well worth the money and time.and surprisingly. I felt no pain even after the surgery. Just a bit swollen which is expected when putting your body thru such surgery.
I've had my 4-on-4 since March of 2023. I was going every 4 month initially after receiving them. In March of 2024, I went for my last appointment. I will have my next appointment in March 2025. I did go to a closer dentist office today (Nuvia recommended it) in order to clean my teeth. However, they only want me to allow them to take them out. For the most part, I had a great checkup. My dentist looked at my x-rays and said that my mouth looked good after examining me. I use my water-pick to clean my teeth after every meal (and I brush as well). I tried to use the floss, but it is difficult. I'm going to keep trying; but I do use my water-pick after every single meal without fail. I love my prosthetics and I'm going to do everything that I need to do to keep them looking good...and my entire mouth healthy!
Perfect timing! My implants and denture are getting their very first cleaning tomorrow! Now I know what to expect, and why! Love this content, Kristi. :) Thanks to you and the ASAP crew for sharing it!
Hey, folks! So I had my cleaning today, and DAMN are my teeth shiny! And as for the appointment itself, it was pretty-much what Kristi described--even down to the gauze in the implant screw holes.😊 Many of you might be wondering about the pain factor, and my experience was that there was none--just the pressure of people futzing around in there.👍 And it's worth noting that before I had my teeth extracted, the gum recession was so bad--and had exposed so much of my teeth's roots--that I needed numbing with topical anesthetic JUST TO HAVE MY TEETH CLEANED! THAT'S how sensitive they were! So while it'd be nice if I actually still had my real teeth, it's also nice not to feel the bone-jangling sensitivity that I used to feel when ANYTHING touched them. Silver linings, right? Thanks again, Kristi, and best of luck to the rest of you!😁
Hi Kim, I would love to talk with you about your experience at our ASAP office. Are you open to having a chat about your appointment? Thanks in advance!
@@ExcitableRealtor Hi, Sharon. And thanks for the note! :) Actually, my appointment wasn't at ASAP; I live in Northern California and got to Dr. Rahul Malik. And happily so--he's a gem. That said, if I were in FL with Kristi, I'd be all over ASAP's seven-day schedj! ;) Wishing you and the crew well!
Very informative and gives a real idea of what to expect! This can help those with anxiety thinking it is going to be very painful and scared. Reality is it’s not a big deal and it is absolutely necessary.
Loved this clean and how’s it’s done, yes I know other people who have what you have, I already have the denture part, but later down the road, I’m thinking about having what you have. Plus, want to have liposuction and can only do one at a time, plus now working on my knees. I feel I still have many years ahead ❤️ think you for taking the time and sharing your dental work with us ❣️sure do appreciate it.
This was such a helpful video, thank you. I just had my implant surgery a few weeks ago and get my stitches out in a couple of days. Curious to find out if my insurance will help cover these cleanings or if my $90/mo plan is now not necessary. They did cover 10k of everything I’ve had done so far after finding out they may not because they considered it “cosmetic” surgery 🙄 Grateful they paid what they did. Thanks again. 😊
Did they clean your top also? Is there any type of odor when they remove them? Also when he asked you if your bite was correct is there a way your bite could be off? I’m going for my impressions on the 31st and I am so excited
They cleaned the top but didn’t remove to clean. When it’s removed, there is an odor. It’s bacteria and it’s normal. I assume the bite could be off if they screwed one side in tighter than the other but they generally don’t do that because they torque it to a precise amount. So excited for you Brenda!! 🎉
Thanks. I just had my final lower 5 implant arch done this week. About 10 months from start to finish. Upper 6 implant arch is still a work in progress. Many complications but progressing. This video is very informative and interesting. What kind of foaming rinse will you be using for the future? I have lots of the usual products Scope,Listerine and Colgate.
Wow! if only it were that easy! Obviously, it all depends on how they were installed and you had a great dentist as well as a beautiful and Normal looking hybrid set on properly placed implants... everything there was a go for a straitforward removal... my gf has an all on 4 hybrid upper.. we left the original dentist who installed them as the fit was Bad and he refused to go any further with correction... she waited 3 yrs...not good! b4 an infection made her go looking for another dentist to remove that thing.. what we found was 1st off, it was a badly done job.. implant placement was in terrible locations and angles and completely hidded on the hybrid... so much so that even with the 3d cone beam catscan, the dentist was unable to see exactly where to drill to expose the screws! basically, he went in on a best gusess as to where they were which is shocking to me! why should this not be obvious with the xrays and the high magnification glasses they wear? anyway, after 2 plus hrs in the chair, all 4 hidden holes were exposed and 3 of the screws came out... unfortunately, the 4th one stripped and couldnt be removed.. Not even with the "salvin toolkit" thats used for these cases.. WTF? we had to reschedule again and now he has to drill out the screw and heavily sedate her... who knew that the routine cleaning process of removing this thing would be such a nitemare? Granted, improper installation by a dentist who should Not have been doing this likely made it the nitemare it turned out to be... so yes it can be a easy as urs was but not all installations are done as well and can lead to major issues.. she doesnt even want those teeth back in at this point and would prefer snapon denture for the upper so she can remove it herself... this has been an 18,000 expense that has resulted in a mess after only 3 yrs... part of that is her responsibility for not having it pulled earlier But, whoever had to do that work would have run into the bad install and the stripped screw...
Hi! I have Implants. Full upper implants and half lower implants. I feel natural when using natural teeth below with upper implants. But feels very odd when using upper and lower to chew a semi soft food also. It's been a month since the process ended. Can anyone suggest something? Also their is space between gums and dentures. I don't use water pik. Is it necessary?
Waterpik is absolutely necessary. Tootbrush and gentle brushing daily, clean tongue with tongue scraper, spoon of salt in cup of warm water and rinse, do not swallow it as bad for you, mouthwash kills good bacteria which produces nitric oxide which is needed to control blood pressure. Use floss threader and superfloss to clean gaps. this is worth it to prevent issues, as waterpik is not enough. i went to expensive hygienist and peridontist to hear this. i had killed good bacteria with all sorts of mouthwashes. you will develop infection in gap without these measures, and then you would need the mouthwashes to get under control. i go to Hygeniest who has airflow system and get clean every 4 months. it is worth it to avoid losing an implant which is a whole lot of trouble for long time and costly.
The implants themselves can last for decades depending on how healthy your mouth is but the prosthesis that is affixed to them may need to be replaced at some point. Again, very much conditional on your health, home care, and regular visits to the dentist.
@@od545 they continuously measure that at each appointment and have a plan in place to deal with it before it gets out of hand. But yes, bone loss can sometimes lead to implant failure or require additional treatments to correct it.
This is why I got the implant supported denture versus the All-on solution. I know people who lost implants because they didn't clean properly and their gums receded. Second, the cleaning is expensive and can cost close to $1000. Imagine needing 3 a year??
Without implants and full upper and lower dentures you don't need to visit the dentist on a regular basis. Plus your chances of any infection is almost zero. Implants are too evasive.

If you got an implant supported denture you wouldn't need all those implants, since cost is a concern..
