"i feel good,No.......I feel broke." Daddy cornstar dude is such a great person even receiving a devastating blow to the wallet. hes still joking. Perfect dad
My husband works at Case in Goodfield IL. Loved to see you running with the red. He works with ground engagement tools. If you are ever in our area he would love to take you on a tour of our home CNH plant.
@@mryeeter8640 your not being rude at all. All I am trying to say is that it wont be where they work til 3 to 4 in the morning. Maybe work til 1 to gain a few extra hours of sleep😊
I could just see in Daddy Cornstar's eyes that he was singing to himself, "Merry Christmas to me, Merry Christmas to me, Merry Merry Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas to me. But, we all know that Cooper will steal Daddy Cornstar's Christmas present.
It might be “overkill” Today. Hopefully, you will continue to grow and expand. It is better to over prepared than under. Great job and I am sure it will serve you well for many years.
I'm an IT dude from NC and I am absolutely fascinated by this. This is better than any show on TV. The shots and editing are amazing, no joke. Must take forever to do but wow it is awesome. Love y'all!!
Two of the smaller combines would be more productive, and drastically cheaper then one extremely expensive new one. But need two operators and more maintenance.
You may think so, but no. Its simply not more productive. The 2388 can push an 8 row corn head at 3.5 in good corn. The 9230 could push 4 to 4.5 with a 16.
Very Cool drone shots... Thank you for taking in that suggestion. It really puts it into perspective how big the farm is and how big this equipment is.
If Daddy Cornstar wouldn't have stopped before climbing the hill and used the momentum of moving ahead like Coop did in the track machine the old machine would have shown itself much better -- but the tracks would normally have better traction across washouts and up hills
We know that. Why bring that up when this is an excellent video that Cole obviously put a lot of time and effort into. Instead of being happy for the Cornstars you have to complain. Just my humble opinion.
So fun to see all the Cornstar guys out there doing a combine comparison with drone photography! The combines, waxed and shining on the snow, really were beautiful! The traction difference was amazing! Happy new combine Cornstars!
really terrific camera work on the "comparison" part with the two combines. The drone shots overhead with the upbeat music were excellent. Who wouldn't want the larger combine with that ground-munching traction!
Boys and their toys!!! With a little fabrication, maybe Cooper could somehow fit a big snow-blower on the front of the 9230. With 580HP, it should be able to handle around a 20 foot wide snow-blower. Cooper could pick up a little extra money by removing snow from the county and/or state roads, and a few driveways.
Cole, nice machine. If things work out and we go visit friends in SD can I stop in and get behind the wheel of the new combine? That would make my day.
I have to say you guys keep your equipment in fantastic shape. I run a trucking company that hauls milk from farms. And I seriously doubt that any farmer around here has a tractor in half as good of shape as your 2001 combine. nice work!...
WOW! WOW! WOW!!! Talk about exciting and amazing. What a fabulous way to show us the comparisons. A very satisfying post. Congratulations and Happy New Years to all. Thanks a million for sharing.
Ok...I have to say first thing...Get the snow OUT of the hoppers on the combines or it'll start rusting! (I am NO farmer so I'm sure you all know what'll damage your machines). Secondly, Cole's apparent excitement over the new combine is wonderful to see in a 23 year old farmer LOL! Hope that combine is everything you all need and more!
So nice to see your excitement and joy in getting the new equipment. Thank you for showing the difference in the older one vs the newer one. Amazing difference. May your crops be plentiful and the harvesting go quicker. Happy New Year!!🎉
My daughter Lydia from Diagonal Jr High School got her new Cornstar hoodie for Christmas. I got a matching t-shirt. I think the hoodie thrilled her more than anything else she received! I was going to post a picture of us wearing our Cornstar merch together, but I couldn't figure out how to post it. LOL! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Keep these videos coming--we really enjoy them and learn stuff, too!!
Excellent editing and drone footage! The side by side comparison is awesome. Just the perfect drone music & radio talk mixed in there also! Congrats & all best in 2021

Big fan of the channel and great respect for the entire operation/family. I am not a farmer but love watching. Former Iowan now living in North Carolina. Thanks for all your hard work! Keep it coming.
The older combine was bigger than I thought after seeing them sitting next to each other. Great freaking vid cole! Enjoyed it immensely. Edit: and I’m a Deere guy! Lol. 🇺🇸🦅
Nice machine! You’ll love the tracks too! And there’s no such thing as overkill, when it’s time to plant or harvest I’ve always thought you can’t have too many planters or combines to get the work done when the weather gives us that window to work and that machine will allow you to expand acres without needing another upgrade, congrats and good luck!
I really wish I would have invested extra for tracks Cole, so much smoother over rough ground and less soil compaction. Really didn't know the difference till I got a grain cart with tracks. I bought a 8240 four years ago with a 12 row Geringhoff foldup cornhead and a 40 foot flex draper grainhead. considering trading off the 8240 for a 8250 strictly for the newer technology has gotten that much more advanced in four years and my 8240 is low hours and very clean so the trade in value would be great. I farm 2800 acres combined of corn and soybeans and the 9250 would be a huge overkill for me but sometimes a overkill is a good thing if the weather turns bad with crops still in the field. I don't think you really did buy to big of a unit and if you ever do pickup more land you will be set up for it. The most important two machines a crop farmer can own is a planter that puts the crop in the ground and the combine that you harvest your crops with. If either of them fails you then you don't have a chance to have a good year and the only two things a farmer can control. The weather is out of our hands.
If you were new to the channel and saw this video from where you have them dancing in the field you would be hard-pressed to tell which one is older by the looks of them. That's a testament to how well the little combine is taken care of, well done.
Good for you Cole, Cooper and Daddy Cornstar!! You've got a lot of changes coming. 2021 promises to be an action-packed year. Good luck and Happy New Year!! 🎉🎉🎊🎊🎉🥇

It won’t shorten the long night, but make sure they get more done during that night. (Not to be rude or anything)

If you fly through the your harvest can you contract out combine work and make a few $? Buy today for tomorrow's acreage.
I really liked the drone shots...great job!!
