Impressive machine and thanks for the video. 60/61 foot small grain heads in beans would be a better match on the 10 and 11 series combines instead of those little 50 footers. Having the unload auger spout tracking the forward to rear centerline of the cart with GPS would be one less thing for the operator to do.
God i wish I could be in an area that 40,000bu/day was a thing. I’m in SE Alberta and on 1800 acres we barely got 40,000bu all harvest including 5 different crops. I know its all relative but I would just love to see it one day
Iam in Central Alberta. Dad always talks about when he was a kid in the 60's how Grandpa used to combine about 8000 bushels a year, fed the grain to livestock he bought in the fall and made a living on that. How times have changed
I was in both, twin was New Holland CR11 (that's the same red or yellow), AF9, AF10 and CR10 are different though. NH doesn't have single rotor, FYI. Did you see this new video? ua-cam.com/video/TI_aYxtejog/v-deo.html
@@diersirrigation that's correct. in New Holland they only have twin rotors, and the CR10 has smaller engine, slower unload but same separation/cleaning as CR11 ua-cam.com/video/TI_aYxtejog/v-deo.html
@@joescheller66802 things. 1 how fast are you going. Imo these high power combines should have 24 rows on them not 16 that would actually push the machine. 2 what losses do you have because these combines are supposed to have incredibly low losses

Amazing but pointless. The logistics needed to move that amount of grain is crazy. Everything after the combine would need to double, from trucks, elevators, wet storage to drying.
Farmers have NEVER had to SOOOOO good. Since subsidies started in the mid 90's many farmers have progressed to be in the 1% most wealthy Americans. When 40% of their income is subsidies they can't help it become among the most historically wealthy citizens courtesy of the American taxpayer. All the while not having to work any more than they did before. In the process they have destroyed the family farm and viability of small rural towns.
Sucks doesn’t it that they have to battle increased equipment, land, input prices while not earning near enough to help with those costs. Guess that’s what they have to do to put food in your mouth🤷♀️
So glad we have all those subsidies we don’t actually have in ND which makes it to where I can’t get my own farm going because 100% of my income was from my own work.
It's great seeing Chad here on UA-cam God bless America and you 🙏
Unbelievably impressive. Wow. Nothing like it on the market.
Great in-cab chat! Love hearing the in-depth insights from Michael about the AF10’s new design and performance. Feels like I’m right there! 🙌🌽

Awesome combine

Awesome combine!! I’m a Red man anyway. JD got there homework cut out for them!!😁🙋🏼♂️ From La.
Is the CASE IH AF10 easy to maintain given its high-performance capabilities? Are there any unique challenges for operators?
My friends farm got to use the 24 row. It’s huge 60ft wide
Not sure you would gain much here with that, some efficiency gains (less turns) and it would be nice to be on right rows, this was planted with 24rw.
@@TheChadColbyhe mentions the 24 row head is in South Dakota. That’s who was using it. They had it on a Af11
Did it have folding capabiity-?
Another adantage would be less turnarounds on the headlands for less soil compaction.
Love these Vids
thanks!

21:24 What a shot!
Thanks!
What’s wrong with the rear tire at the 21:50 mark ?…looks like it’s loose
Love It
honestly them not making the corn head folding has to be a blunder
That will be coming soon I'm sure. Many others have folding 16rw 30" heads.
How many acres an hour
so how many more semi truck and trailers do you need so youre not stopped waiting for them to get back to the field LOL
Deere eater right there.
Was that machine you were in the single rotor or twin rotor?

What did the combine do when the Siv color changed to blue??
it's blue when the automation is changing settings.
@@TheChadColby it's amazing how the bushels per hour then jumped up
How's the AF 10 capacity compared t o AF 11 ?
great question, been around both, very similar. But have to think twin would have a bit more.
Im sure if the head wasnt a chopping head the combine would of had a little more HP to push it well over 9000 bu.
highest they saw was a bit over 9K.
20hp per row for chopping. Would definitely push the capacity quite a bit.
You have covered everything, but the price...
So how would an AF11 compare?
Great question, did you see this video? ua-cam.com/video/TI_aYxtejog/v-deo.html
ummm, very will depend on crop and conditions, but have to think it definitely WONT be less, lol.
what brand is the engine in this combine
Case IH C16 engine.
Still think that spout is uglier than sin. One other thing is why is he steering on straight rows??
$?
Have an 8600 claas lexion with 18 30 in rows pushing 7000 bu an hour.
That's only a class 8 machine
@@joescheller66802 things. 1 how fast are you going. Imo these high power combines should have 24 rows on them not 16 that would actually push the machine. 2 what losses do you have because these combines are supposed to have incredibly low losses
we pushed it over 9k.
grain loss was incredibly LOW, on corn (like soybeans) limiting factor was HP.

Crazy how fast technology haa come but no talk of price. Equipment is getting way to expensive.
Do you need a 16 or 32 row planter if you are going to use a 16 row header?
nope lots of guys run different heads that what they plant.
Amazing but pointless. The logistics needed to move that amount of grain is crazy. Everything after the combine would need to double, from trucks, elevators, wet storage to drying.
Depends on the operation. Some will be able to justify it by going to 1 machine from 2.
Case IH not Case.

Factually incorrect. It's easy to tell you don't have a clue of what you speak.
When u got 9000/ bushels HR wat speed was u going
Could u get 10000/ bushels HR with 24 row corn head
How many bushels per acre
Does really well, they were running 8k but it has more, they saw over 9k
@TheChadColby WOW wonder wat the AF11 could do
