It's fairly common to see flat torque curves with modern cars. A lot of modern cars nowadays the torque peaks early , around 2000rpm and then flatlines till about 5 or 6000rpm before dropping off.

Like I've been saying. Nissan intentionally made this car with a shit load of potential for the tuning crowd to explore. The chief designer said all along that they weren't looking for numbers straight from the lot cuz it wasn't necessarily to do when they know it a hidden beast waiting to be unleashed.
The safe spot for the engine and trans was around 600whp and 600wtq for the q50 and q60, we have seen people take the stock engine and make 700+ and detuning the torque quite a bit for safety. But 700 is an aggressive tune for the engine. B&C have pushed theres to 800whp with about 550wtq i believe. Id day the car can safely handle 650whp while maintaining 600wtq. Any more and you are just counting the passes before it blows. As for the z we havent had anyone push the 9 speed yet so we will have to see what that trans is capable of!

I ran a 9.7@ 147mph with the 6 speed, 315/30/18 A052 rear tires. 1st gear is limited to 470kw atw, 2nd is 550kw and 3rd onwards is 630kw atw. (850hp). It's a cornering setup, so traction off the mark isnt great, I only managed a 1.5 60ft. But good to see others are doing it too.
How did you guys get it to hook and 60' like that? I've heard there's problems with getting the car to do proper burnouts (and therefore can't warm up drag radials).

What happened to your torque? Those numbers were looking really good, until you changed the turbos. What size turbos did you guys put on? Referring to them by what you named them doesn't tell me anything. My 95 300 is E85, GT2863s, running a Haltech Elite 2500. My last dyno session was on 3/21/23 ua-cam.com/video/Zg4bh6wyYT8/v-deo.html 93 OCTANE: 556.5 hp @6175 / 528.3 ft.lbs @4870 E85: 760.3 hp @6776 / 731.0 ft.lbs @5198 Your 719 hp is not bad, but that 592 torque value is way low. Something is not matching up well.
pure stage 2 turbos use the factory housing turbos so still very small. Basically they are just ported stock turbos with upgraded larger billet compressor and turbine wheels. You also had a built engine, the torque is kept low on purpose to keep the motor and trans happy.
It awesome that Nissan didn’t lock the ecu on this new Z, so your team was able to go to work immediately.

If real that is one of best Dyno graphs I have ever seen on a turbo car. Torque doesn't stay flat, it climbs!

Going by that, 719 whp = 773 bhp.

I've heard the stock intake manifold is very restrictive. And that a few different performance shops are working on a gtr style manifold for the vr30

Glad I was not the only one thinking about this. You may need an aftermarket transmission controller however.
It will be easier to swap ZF 8HP. It's cheap, strong and TCU controllers are available already.
