- Tough day on the road here India, no worries I‘m not sick it’s just exhaust fumes all over my face😅 luckily I had a fantastic breakfast in Wayanad and topped of my internet on the phone! Over 6h for 200km! These roads here are no joke and crazy busy today! 1 truck got me stuck quite a while but I got back on the road eventually and off to Thrissur. Hopefully I can plug eve in at the hotel! India is not for beginner, I know ou told me;) Ps. What’s up with that 100 rupee not? Pps. How many people can you fit on a royal Enfield?😃

Those Kerala buses are a marvel of technology. The are driven mercilessly on hills and their engines are rated to 500k km. They’ve been made by two Indian companies (Ashok Leyland and TATA) for nearly 70 years and are exported to any place where ruggedness is more important than comfort like Africa or Southeast Asia
Those buses are just indestructible
Leyland is a British company, they tied up with Ashok.

@@MarcTravelsand autorickshaw's too, they'll turn directions suddenly, whenever they feel like to, and doesn't use their turn indicators either. Also they might try to scam you when they find you're a foreigner (doesn't even have to be a foreigner, even Keralites from different districts gets overcharged if the rikshaw driver see's that we don't know the locality or route much). Always use apps like ola/uber to book autos and cabs, i believe no one else other than them rips people off in Kerala.
Hi Marc, enjoying your videos very much. Please be extra cautious on turns/bends while in kerala. Bus/truck etc recklessly overtake in turns also. Better slow down at bends to avoid surprises.

Marcus One small tip applicable all over India esp Kerala : Do horn when taking turns. Its a life saving technique here. West despise or hates Horn, in india it is communication 😅

Advanced congratulations on 100k subs. The only vehicle you need to be a bit cautious in Kerala are the KSRTC buses, they could be a bit crazy sometimes. But anyway, enjoy the stay and I am enjoying your content as well. Eagerly waiting for the next video.

Bro.. Wayanad is one of the most picturesque locations of Kerala. Sad that your tight schedule and the hot weather must have made it difficult to enjoy the scenic locations. Calicut is a foodie paradise and you've totally bypassed it.

Enjoyed, another great production, Marc. I understand the thrill of riding a bike fast on curvy roads, but passing on blind corners on the side of a mountain road is insanity. Even a slight accident with an oncoming 2-ton car or 10-ton bus, may damage Eve’s front forks, and more importantly, the risk of personal injury. Either one could end your quest, and as you have previously mentioned, slow down and smell the roses. Oh, LOL, as long as my butt is OK, spoken like a true biker. 😀

@MarcTravels Bro one very useful suggestion, i saw that you were using AIRTEL sim so if you recharge it with ₹239 or above pack then you can use 5G unlimited data with free of cost until the expiry of the pack (min 24 days). Right now in BHARAT 5G is free for both AIRTEL and JIO user with unlimited data and with excellent speed 400-500 mbps.
ps. since you were using it in 4G mode so you got 4 GB/day so i would suggest you to use 5G mode.

The scooter you saw is Ather 450x, its a complete Indian Scooter which has had a strong RND and is really well performing and good quality scooter. To be simple its like the Ultraviloette of Scooters. Ather has the most charging networks as well all over India
Change it in the bank because RBI strictly guidelines all scheduled banks to accept it if they don't you can complaint on RBI website and as a foreigner you will get VIP treatment

@@MarcTravels Marc - The only downside I see is the cost of thee bike 25K USD = 2 Million Indian Rupees. Here we get Electric bike for 200k-300k of course with less range, pickup and other specs. But an Electric car with more range

Before that go to Malakkappara and Valppara(Forest and Tea Estate)70kms from Chalakudy. If you are lucky you can see a lot of wild animals. Chalakudy is a small town 28 kms from Thrissur town.
