Agree the amount of exhaustion in western countries is little bit depressing. In India settle in good community where friends are located close by. Man you can squeeze the lot of joy out of life .....
eh ? he is from US. Colorado suburb. thats like a very slow boring place. most places in America are very slow, lazy, boring. (may be in few places like Bay Area or NY, it will be fast paced). other than that its so sickeningly boring. especially suburbs. there's nothing to do. it saps the life out of you. you dont have to work hard unless you want to. most of the time you will be surrounded by Americans who are very lazy people in general. now that they have legalized drugs, its super depressing. most Americans are lazy, incompetent people who excel in one thing - politics and gossiping. its not at all like India. dont fall for this "other side is green" trap. India is a very lively place. you dont find that depressing vibe here.
Stop generalising Western countries. The West is very big. European countries are different among themselves, for instance. The US is a whole different world.
Cameron and his wife are made for each other. They have to be spiritually very advanced and in touch with their higher selves. These folks are blessed. Their friends will be even more blessed.

Very interesting conversation with lot of authentic observations on our culture. Mayhem, chaos, culture and technology deficit education with stares yet forward thinking and cheaper cost of living
@5:37 He is so right on the metaphoric example of frisbee, even Indians get surprised on such rules coming up at random places. Sometimes we are trying to avoid something bad happened in the past.

@9:05, I kind of understand what you mean. In the land of free, practically speaking one feels most caged into routine things. One thing about India is, being here it's like witnessing/participating in endless chain of festivities. People are celebrating something or other all the time!
I am an Indian living in US. You are absolutely correct! There is chaos and funny rules. But, there's beauty in this chaos and life is peaceful. What I dont like in India is there is no proper waste management.
You must understand the dense of population, and it creates as waste - there are many org (Priv/Pub) does this yet it is very tiring job to do on daily basis - its improving but takes a long time in democratic way (without sueing or remanding public people)
What an honest view this man has given of his life in India, instead of the usual drivel given by most of the gentrified and entitled foreigners who come to India. My thoughts exactly as a non-Indian born person of Indian origin.

Nice video. It's always interesting to get this sort of perspective. One thing that's for sure that India is a livewire eager to interact, eager to offer .. but no so eager to absorb... I think that one thing might change for good
I can truly feel what he feels. After living in Paris for nearly 17 years, and now in Pune -Maharashtra, I had to reset my life. However , the level of adjustment depends on where we stay. Luckily France is not as rushed a place as most big cities of America. The French are cool, friendly and informal. Similarly Pune isn't quite as chaotic, though it's a big city. Quite relaxed, safe and you can have very intelligent friends. The only huge problem that I face is when I have to deal with government offices here. They are extremely corrupt. It's just unreal and scary! 😢 Since I created my own sustainable farm stay, I had to deal with them. But what I could create here, I wouldn't have been able to do anywhere. It was as if the entire ecosystem was at my service. UNBELIEVABLE ❤
Generally, as public spaces are dense with people comprising of all ages in india, any game that could potentially hurt a elderly person eg... Frisbee, cricket, football, volleyball...that kind are discouraged.... elderly hv slow reflexes, its difficult for them to avoid a object flying or rolling or coming towards them. Parks are for recreation play grounds are for sport
Park in India is a very different concept indeed . In Europe we can have different games’ activity , picnic , people having rest or sitting on bench ; and everyone is fine and all is good because we respect each other .It’s all about organisation and different hobbies and culture is different. Everywhere it’s good , just different.
@@vinithagodbole6321 thanks for that perspective! We hadn’t thought of it because it is just expected that we would find only a place where we would not risk running into an elder or injuring someone, but the mindset of preserving enjoyment for all explains the rule for us. Now if only we could find a green outdoor space to let the children chase a ball or frisbee within the city! 😁
@Thejetlaggers5, as i said already, play grounds for sport...that is kicking around a ball or for chasing freebies. The person being interviewed mentioned that badminton was allowed, its just about choosing things that would not inconvenience others, its a public park in the center of the city. N if one feels this is not enough, they can take paid memberships to recreational/sports clubs where the grass is v v v green n facilitiea r well maintained. If one requires whats available in the west, then one should be open to shell out money for it. Or "be a Roman in rome" My comment was in context of cubbon park that was mentioned in this interview. Neighborhood parks are flexible, they each hv their dos n don't depending upon the type of people who there frequently. I me my way my country.... that is a attitude problem... how would one react if a person from india goes to US/Europe and asks for cutting chai, by-2 coffee, ganesh Utsavs in parks,, agarbattis alllowed everywhere without hving to worry about smoke alarms, chatting loudly, standing in groups in queues, generally being boisterous in multi generational groups whole shopping/in restaurants, asking for big portions for sharing in restaurants..... hv a long list of things that is second nature to us but we don't demand or crib
@@vinithagodbole6321 I think you may have misunderstood, we appreciate the explanation! We are always learning new ways and the customs here, thank you. 🙏
If you live a middle class life style in western countries like US or Canada, 3-4 years of savings will give you 7-10 years or even more of absolute calm and high quality life and really be able to live life at a very good standard.
Hi Max, Cubbon park is a park where there are trees more than 100 years and every one goes there for having fresh air. Bangalore people are also not able to play there. Sorry, that you have that experience in the park. Cubbon park is full of different kinds of rare trees for more than 100 years. Hope you understand.
India is tough and rustic. It’s unorganized and has many ills. While Indians can accept it because we belong to this place and have an added advantage however I would say it’s difficult for any one else at least at this stage of growth India is. 25-30 years down the line it may be different.
I am not writing this out of any ego, but just psychologically, after living in Europe for 3+ years, I too get scared to ride scooter in my hometown in India now or walk because there aren't footpaths.

I love India. After visiting Chennai a few months ago on business a few months I must say that I can’t wait to go back with my family. The people were amazing as well as the levels of service. I was unaware of how many cultures exist there and how different they are. My favorite part of my trip was the food. I was warned by my friends to not eat street food so I stuck to the restaurants. I must say that it was probably some of the best i have ever eaten.
thats ko..ko..sound of bird in back groud...felt relaxing.❤it.
I love ❤the way he communities.. 😊 India will surprise u everyday😊
India is always great. Various companies, individuals and foreigners have time tested it and found to be true.
Cameron and his wife are made for each other. They have to be spiritually very advanced and in touch with their higher selves. These folks are blessed. Their friends will be even more blessed.
Thank you so much! 🙏

WELCOME to INDIA!! A country that's GREAT in many ways!!
Excellent portrayal of India and better comprehended by him than so many we Indians. We never realized our privileges which we considered taken for granted before he explained so nicely.
This was great to watch, Cameron shared fascinating insights about the differences between India and USA and the cultures and way of living in both societies. Happy that he and his family are experiencing India in a truly personalised way. Wishing them the best. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
Wish u health and happiness and enjoy your stay here in India......
Love from India ❤
Very interesting conversation with lot of authentic observations on our culture. Mayhem, chaos, culture and technology deficit education with stares yet forward thinking and cheaper cost of living
Indian people love to ask so many questions and it's in our DNA.
One of the best videos. Thank you Max
Very true. India is a country of certainly uncertain and chaotic with lovely

Depth of Dharmic spirituality can't be overstated
@5:37 He is so right on the metaphoric example of frisbee, even Indians get surprised on such rules coming up at random places. Sometimes we are trying to avoid something bad happened in the past.
Thank you for choosing India we welcome u from bottom of our heart and sorry for any inconveniences u suffer if. We love to share our culture please enjoy if u need anything u can just contact anything ❤
So kind, Thank you!
You must understand the dense of population, and it creates as waste - there are many org (Priv/Pub) does this yet it is very tiring job to do on daily basis - its improving but takes a long time in democratic way (without sueing or remanding public people)
If Indian chaos is beautiful Then why are you living in US
Very nice to listen to you feelings about Bangalore. Wonderful. I also live in Bangalore. Ananth
Happiness comes from within
What an honest view this man has given of his life in India, instead of the usual drivel given by most of the gentrified and entitled foreigners who come to India.
My thoughts exactly as a non-Indian born person of Indian origin.
You Tube is the new 'educational' system, esp. buffered with homeschooling. Win, win Max-a-million!
Nice to see That Americans found our other side not the side shown by media !
The intensity of the culture ..Education. religion and culture ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video! Thank you very much.
Just loved listening to this volg. Great content
Just subscribed although I have been watching you for ages. Being Indian married to an Englishman (45years), I really want to go back and retire there. Husband not keen so I use what you say to try and persuade him. Thanks from rainy London.
After watched this video, I will subscribe your channel... Jetlaggers 🎉

I think many would love to come and settle in India because of culture, cost of living, education system etc.. but once they see the density of population it will become tough for them..
Everything is good until traffic and water crisis come in😅

Coming to Bharath to live is awesome, and choosing namma Bengaluru is super awesome.
Hope your three sons study well in India and grow up into good respected successful adults who also take care of their parents in old age and family like Indians do.
Nice video. It's always interesting to get this sort of perspective. One thing that's for sure that India is a livewire eager to interact, eager to offer .. but no so eager to absorb... I think that one thing might change for good
Thankyou!....i appreciate it!😊
You're welcome to North Eastern Indian state if you love nature....i bet you'll enjoy it!

Take your kids to isha foundation coimbatore also. There is Isha home school which is superb.
beautiful perspective. thank you
I can truly feel what he feels.
Since I created my own sustainable farm stay, I had to deal with them.
But what I could create here, I wouldn't have been able to do anywhere. It was as if the entire ecosystem was at my service.
UNBELIEVABLE ❤
As a returning Indian, I couldn’t agree more with the discomfort when people here stare or look you in the eye. It happens even if I look Indian.
Well don’t come back then it’s a mix accept or don’t complain
@@deepalakshmi5890 one negative observation doesn’t take away all the good 🙃
Lovely part of India..seems less polluted than Delhi..i love Delhi but not the air pollution there
Generally, as public spaces are dense with people comprising of all ages in india, any game that could potentially hurt a elderly person eg...
@@anneeddrief6055there is huge open space in US.. here it's difficult to have that much open space
Or "be a Roman in rome"
My comment was in context of cubbon park that was mentioned in this interview.
Your Colorado life sounds nice. there is hiking, skiing, boating, fishing besides the regular stuff.
If you live a middle class life style in western countries like US or Canada, 3-4 years of savings will give you 7-10 years or even more of absolute calm and high quality life and really be able to live life at a very good standard.
Nice conversation, nice of broken marvel. This is indian style, reuse
WONDERFL !! WONDERFUL ! LOVELY. SUPER GREAT !COMPLIIMENT !! THANKS ! CHUMP! FROM, U.K. (2024).
Ohh sir you are so kind and smart , loved the whole interview !!!!
@@vrishalisonar453 Not to mention the noise pollution ! If you have lived abroad for an extended period of time, it is difficult to get a good night's sleep.
It's not like you can't become an Indian being a foreigner. You can! And we are waaayyyy more open to accept you as our own unlike many others, once you understand our culture, language and the way we deal with things. You can adapt very easily. Treat India like your home and Indians like your own and that's it brother. There is 0 tolerance for 'entitlement' as you already said. That's only possible in America cuz people are okay with that sort of behaviour but here it's not gonna work out. Our life, Our safety is in our own hands, No matter which country you're in. We love and protect the ones we love. I hope you enjoy your stay as long as you want.
Once you please visit to Beluru Chanakeshawa Temple, in Hasan District, Karnataka, 2 to 3 hours journey from Bengaluru, you will see world's first wonder.😮
