    Recipe looks super yummy....I'm trying today...just wanted to check if u can make these kulchas and keep and reheat them before serving coz it takes time and cannot serve every one in same time... please help

      Hi swati. I am glad to know that you liked this recipe. Yes, you can make this ahead of time. Just reheat them all together in oven @200 degree F. for a couple of minutes, or reheat on Tawa. But don't use the microwave for reheating this kulcha. I hope this helps.

    Making is good and choice of ingredients shows the perfection. But you need to name it as Alu kulcha or Alu paratha(baked).

      Dry ingredients are 4 cups - Maida, Oil, Salt to taste, Active dry yeast, Sugar.
      And kneaded the dough with warm milk. When you combine everything together, the dough becomes wet and sticky. Hope this helps. :)

      Yes, You can. After 1st proofing, keep the dough in the refrigerator. Once you are ready to bake, take out the dough from the fridge and keep the dough at room temperature for about 45 minutes to an hour before making the kulchas. Hope this helps.

    Your recipe is simply amazing. The outcome is so so tempting that one cant resist trying it!
    Have a question though..after rolling out the stuffed kulcha, do we need to prove them since it's yeasted dough? Or directly after rolling they can be baked?
    Plz correct in case I have misunderstood.

      Use the same quantity of instant yeast. Plus you don't need to proof the yeast in liquid. Add it directly in dry ingredients.

    Recipe is really good, but this is not amritsari kulcha ... we dont add yeast. We add butter in different layers. I made it so many time. Amritsari kulcha is not supposed to be this soft.

      Thanks You Nav! This is MY way of making kulcha, and I never said its authentic recipe. I like to add yeast for the best result. I would recommend you to try this recipe once. You will love it. :)
      With this recipe, kulcha turns out crispy from out side and soft from inside.
