    Thanks for the clear video instructions! Judging by the colour of the water I probably should have done this a while ago...

      Yeah, right! I was a little surprised the first time I did it too. Thanks for the comment.

    Thanks! Nice Job! I am about to re-install my pads but I took them out many moons ago… so was not sure I remember how to do those two straps that go from the back of the helmet… your instructions were very clear… though my seem to be corroded closed… DOH!

      Thanks for the feedback. Maybe a little wire brush and WD40 will help you open the zippers.

    G8 video - thanks. My C3 Pro is old. Did the inner today following your instructions. Only issue for me is that the zippers are seriously corroded and non operative. So just had to remove the liner from the cheek pads and wash that. I wish I’d known about this sooner. My bad. Anyway - grateful for the steer from your good self.

      Thanks for your comment. I wonder if some lubricant would free up the zipper?

    Thanks for this. Just bought a C4 basic and there is nothing in the manual about removing the liner, which I need to do at least partially to install my Cardo system like yours was. One thing that is bothering me is those two straps at the back on mine don't appear to be attached to anything, which seems a bit weird. Yours appear to be stuck down pretty good.

    • @PacMoto
      @PacMoto  8 місяців тому +1

      I think those two straps are supposed to be screwed into the helmet. It may be a manufacturing defect.

    I can confirm that its the same process with the C3 Pro ( the one with the double intake on the top of the helmet). One question though: What to do if the collar consists of the model with the built in control knobs for the Cardo communication system ? Dry clean?

    • @PacMoto
      @PacMoto  2 роки тому

      Thank you for the confirmation. The SRC system replaces the original collar. I’d suggest that you detach the SRC collar and re-install the original one (hopefully you saved it!). Remember to be careful with the pins.

    This was very informative, but I note that you didn't remove the chin padding - is this because it can't be done? Surely not?

    How did the liner hold up? The label actually says just wipe it off and to not soak it

    • @PacMoto

      I gently hand wash the liner once a year, so this is the 5th time. No issue at all.

    How do I remove the chin part? I can take out the small part. But how do I do the rest?!

    • @PacMoto
      @PacMoto  2 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment. The trick is to find the zipper and open it. You can then feed the straps through to fully remove the liner. Feel free to send me a photo of the issue so I can better understand where you are working. Send to info@pacmototours.com.

      I have washed the inner cushions on a 30‘ C program with a mild wool detergent. Came out perfect. The collar I have washed by hand.
