How to Create Designs with Clipart for Projects in Photoshop & Procreate

- Hey Guys, let's create with clipart!
In this tutorial I'll walk you through step-by-step how to design custom creations for sublimation, print and products in Photoshop and Procreate. This is just an example to get you started. If you wish to create products for sale, you will need to combine other elements (please see note below). You don't need either of these programs though, only a graphic editor that imports PNG files.

**NOTE: Under my licenses my products can be used for sublimation (physical end products), but NOT for sublimation templates. If you wish to make sublimation templates, please contact me directly at hello@prettylittlelines.com. If you wish to sell products using my illustrations, you will need to combine other resources to create an original design. I should also mention, I realize now that I may have not explained clearly enough that if you're selling products using clipart then you do need to incorporate other elements to create an original design. For example using text, backgrounds, borders and textures and even other elements form different packs from the same artist or another (or your own art) to create something new . Very enjoyable. I'm a pro with Photoshop, but never used Procreate. You explained and demonstrated very clearly! I'm sure this will help many. I love your clip art. Thanks Kris! Virtual hugs to your kids, esp your youngest son obsessed with top hats and monocles. Has he seen Fred Astaire films, dancing with Ginger Rogers? Yes, black and white. But no one was more elegant wearing a Top Hat! Even a 1935 movie starring Fred and Ginger called "Top Hat." Sometimes there's a character actor wearing a monocle in those and other films. Monocles were very popular in 1930s. Stay well everyone!

Hi! Just find your video now, and your work are amazing😻, i have i question, if use others platform like Canva or creative fabrica to create a design? Can i Download and use their clipart png or elements and create a design and after that to Sell it on Etsy?

Can I create a new image only using your illustrations ? I thought I had to mix it using several sources in order to respect the licence, and I was having lots of troubles in doing a collage from several artists .. this would make my life easier :)
You are quite right, if you're selling products using clipart then you do need to incorporate other elements to create an original design. Sorry I should have explained that better! The easiest way to do this I think is to use text, backgrounds, borders and textures and even other elements form different packs from the same artist or another. I know it can be hard when combining multiple artists if the medium used isn't the same. And of course adding your own personal art if you feel comfortable is always good too! I hope that helps!

Can we make them into stickers not on their own as a scene etc

Hey Pena, do you mean Procreate or Photoshop? Depends on what you want to do really. I find drawing with my iPad in Procreate easier than using a tablet and Photoshop. But I like doing graphic design in Photoshop better because it's just what I'm used to and the tools are more set up for that. So it really depends on what you like to do. Hope that helps!
