Quire obviously, your technique is fantastic. But with that out of the way: Did it ever occur to you that music is as well about melody and a certain amount of musical structure - rather than just presenting one technical stunt after the other? Don't get me wrong, technical stunts are absolutely fine in case they suit a purpose. Or add something. But with this kind of music they're the only ingredient.
Each to their own obviously, but the harmony in this song stood out more than anything to me. Not anything crazy jazzy or anything, but just real pleasant; I really loved the fast lines and intermittent rhythmic muted stuff over that more chill ambient harmony. Also, it looks like I could learn a decent chunk of this tbh, and I'm by no means an insane guitarist, so I wouldn't say it's unnecessarily technical! Tldr; I definitely don't think this is entirely tasteless flexing, there's plenty of musical merit here!
All I want is a collab between ichika and Manu for my Christmas
Manu, Ichika, Tim, Scott, Mario, Eric, Yvette

Next can we get dear bassist
What type of effects do you use for that sound?
Dang nice job dude, how do u make those harmonic so clean
That should be the 69h daily practice 😜
And a lot of compression
compression and EQ
and position 4 on your pickups^ the neck pickup makes harmonics on 5th fret really weak through my compressor personally
Good technique + compressor + eq + pick up position

Am I the only one annoyed by the DAW inverse layout?
Tbh a guitarist sounds like an insult now. A true master will be called a musician, he knows his creed, be uses an instrument to create music.
