Yes but what do you DO with it? I have a T-Beam, it seems to work. But I'll be darned if I can see any other nodes. Am I missing something?

Thanks, it my apartment in Albania while work here for the next year. The cost is low compare to elsewhere U.S. and other places in Europe. No drywall here just masonry walls and the craftsmanship is not the greatest here.
Meshtastic does not scale. Messaging will not be reliable on larger meshes (i don't know the exact tipping point but it's lower than you think). In the UK it's unusable ironically partly due to its popularity.
Messages will fail because of channel utilisation, signal strength and flood routing creating odd delivery behaviour. All making it nearly impossible to have a mesh to message on.

Yes because nodes repeat ALL traffic (even custom channel) by default. In the US on 915 you have more RF spectrum available so maybe other ways around it there.
