During my college, I am the type of student that only go with the flow, no plans for the future, waste a lot a time and going to the school just for the sake of attendance. But despite of this act I became what I wanted to become now and that was because of pandemic and for this reason I am thankful it happened

4th year CpE student here, it really sucked that my college education started with the COVID pandemic. I learned through online classes but that was not enough. There were some gaps of knowledge especially on the hardware side. I barely know anything hardware other than knowing how to just code an Arduino and do simple circuitry. Just like you, I've taken an interest and chosen a path of being web developer. Just like what you've said, there are lots of ways to learn since there is the internet but without discipline and ways of learning efficiently it will be hard.
Thanks for the great video as I am currently finding ways to inspire myself. Kuddos to you for achieving your dream and having a start to a successful life. 🙌

as a IT graduating student super helpful nang gan'tong motivational video. 3rd batch ng SHS and 1st batch ng covid, sobra akong na distract and sobrang nawalan nang gana, hindi ko alam kung itutuloy ko pa ba pero hindi pwedeng hanggang doon lang ako. I need to move forward and motivate myself to do more. Now, hinaharap ko yung pinakaayaw ko haha ayoko maging data analyst but here I am applying for DA position and hopefully matanggap ako, i know na hindi madali lahat at may kanya kanya tayong timeline kaya don't rush things, enjoy your own time and kapag ready ka na and you're free to do whatever you want and chase that dream.

As an incoming 3rd year Cpe student, I really was at the point na confused na and feeling what I have been doing in school is not enough for me to attain a good career lalo na sa programming. I'm a Grade 11 PUP student na nagbabalak kumuha ng Computer Engineering sa college pero ang daming factors na humahadlang sa akin and that is the reason kaya ako naghahanap ng mga motivations about this tech course. Lesson learned: Be an average student
Currently Grade 10 here, and i wanna pursue computer science, i'm currently freelancing for like 20-100$ per project (coding java), and ofc my clients are from overseas, i hope its a good sign that i can pursue computer science.
Sana nung grade 10 pa ako nag plano mag advance study ng coding huhu I'm a freshman this upcoming school yr and kinuha ko ung CS at medyo regret ako kasi d ako nakapag advanced study before taking this program. Mapapayo ko lng Study in advance sa coding kasi meron nang Ai software Engineer although hindi nmn ma re replace totally ung mga programmer and SWE atleast Mas may eh lalamang ka ng performance in the future. Oversaturated nadin ung CS kaya Wag kang pakampanti sa naaral mo na MAS lamangan mo pa. Goodluck!

Hello, incoming 4th Year CpE student here. Pinaghahanap kami ng school kami kung saan mag-iinternship but habang naghahanap ako ng internship, narealize ko na di ko alam ano ba dapat na gawin ng CpE student/graduate or anong skill ang need. Looking at the jobs like software engineer, hardware engineer, etc,... feel ko na wala akong alam sa mga yun. Feel ko tuloy di nagturo ang school kasi nag-aral pa ako ng mabuti sa mga tinuturo nila yet I feel lost just looking at the jobs. With this problem, ano ang dapat ko unang gawin? Nasa state ako na di ko alam kung ano yung di ko din alam...

"...ang wala lang ako ay ang SIPAG para magsimula" ahhhhh i feel this line. Gagraduate na ako but parang wala pa rin akong maipagmamalaki because of katamaran. Nakasurvived nalang ako sa college nang 'di ko na namamalayan. I don't have the consistency if may ginagawa ako, sumusuko nalang ako agad but when this video comes, bigla akong namomotivate and want na magsimula ulit. I think this is a sign huhu

As one of the students who took this course CpE during the pandemic, I would say it was not easy, really. Also an average student like me is not the type of student who learn much when it comes to listening to lectures only which is also conducted during the pandemic. It was hard and I managed to pass naman. It was nice to watch this content which I can also relate too. Hoping to have a successful career in tech industry.
2nd year IT nag stop ako gawa ng wala akong sipag wala ako natutunan tapos nag pandemic pa then after noon i tried na mag hanap ng job nakapasok naman as tech specialist pero di ako tumagal 1 month lang gawa ng hindi ko gusto yyn ginagawa ko bigla ako nawalan ng sipag samahan pa ako ng advices ng mga parents and relatives ko na mag switch ng career at naniwala ako hanggang sa wala din di ko din magawa yyn mga sinabi nila ngayon napunta na ako sa pagiging mototaxi rider delivery rider and nag iipon na ako ng pera para itry na mag aral ulit 24 yrs old na ako sana magbago na ako maging matured na maging responsable at maging disiplinado
Pandemic was the greatest equalizer talaga. Daming opportunity nagbukas. They say 2022 when the global economy is thriving again that was the best year to go abroaf for Filipinos because of the high demand. 2021-2022 was the best year for online job seekers.
I think sa pinas okay pa ang mga IT/CS courses for now, but in other countries like Canada or North America in general, hindi na masyado viable as it is way too competitive na and it is being outsourced in other countries.
I finished IT with honours in college, most of my courses were programming. My favourite course was Data Structures and Algorithms as it really challenged me and helped me become a better programmer.
Most of the courses I took were programming related and I'm confident with my skills but it's been over 1-year na since nag graduate ako still no job offers padin in the SD/IT field. I know that there are more opportunities online, but I'm an onsite kind of persom as I hate staying at home for work 😂
I've decided na I'm gonna go back to college again to study something else, and my tip to the people na mahina pa sa computer programming logic is mag ask ng questions if you don't understand something and make sure you understand programming fundamentals well. I had friends na they didn't know programming fundamentals and nahirapan sila for the rest of the course ng sobra 😂

I'm a Incoming 3rd year Industrial Engineering, I think my knowledge and field of study is not enough to get a decent job, that's why I'm doing self studying, Web development, I'm now at mastering JavaScript while learning Reactjs. sa cs you'll gonna learn software in a deeper level usually kung gusto mong work is software engineer or development goods ang cs. cpe naman i think for me mas malawak pero not really focused on software, kung interested ka sa pagdesign ng device from software to hardware cpe is i think the best choice. so it really depends on what you like :)

Ano pong thoughts niyo about sa pag aaral ko ng python programming language? Total begginer ako and hindi connected sa programming yung college course ko.
Go lang sa python, pag natutunan mo na ung basic/advance flow ng programming madali na mag switch sa ibang programming language.
gusto ko din. mgging programmer hehe
Just dont focus on python too much. Move on once you learn the fundamentals.
Python is only a good investment if you're into research, science, or cyber security.

opportunity wise mas madami manila kasi madaming company, but i think. my main reason was because i want to try something new kaya nag manila ako despite of having a wfh setup haha. but doesn't mean na walang opportunity sa pampanga, madami din if you explore ako kasi di ako masyado naghanap doon.
