I recently bought that small hard drive one you had for myself with the controllers and also bought a mini business computer off of Amazon and created a pretty nice emulation machine. I ended up cleaning up the hard drive getting rid of games that were not US games since I would never play those when I was a kid, also swapped out the hard drive for a nvme SSD and transferred the contents and then bought new controllers eventually which have been amazing, One small thing about that drive is that the partition was so exact to the size of the drive that I couldn't even update Batocera, I had to realign the partitions when I got the new drive.
Amazon turns a blind eye because they're getting a portion of whatever people pay for the copyright infringing game drives. there's little enforcement action happening. It's not like the 90's where people set up shop on a corner, selling booteg CDs/DVDs, now you setup shop online and police can't troll online like they troll the streets. That and copyright infringement isn't a "normal" crime, so the average law enforcement agent probably doesn't know what to do about it even if you were to show them the illegal operation. My only question is: who's gonna do something about it to the point where Amazon does something about it. i.e. some one of the copyright holders needs to take Amazon to court for helping in the operation, but proving they were turning a blind eye to it would be a challenge though.

The fact the drive with all the PS4/PC games costs less than just ONE of those games alone, yeah, 100% Legal, but hey if you have a PC but are low on money and cannot afford to buy the games, these could come in handy for a while till you make enough money where you can buy the games properly then. I am sure we all used to pirate games when we were younger, we could not afford them but now we are grown up and have an income we can actually buy them now. - These drives look like they would be a good Christmas gift for a child in a family that does not have that much money but don't want their child to be feeling as if they are being left out (their friends have games consoles while they do not, this could help avoid that). Because at the end of the day, isn't a happy child, a happy person more important than Piracy, especially when many of these games cannot even be purchased legally anyways???
I keep the hammer Amazon included when I bought a bookshelf , not because it is particularly useful but because it is hilariously bad it is made of lightweight plastic with a metal plate over the hammer head and it lacks the weight to hammer in a thumbtack into a corkboard , let alone hammer in dowels into a mdf board.
I believe the so-called 'viruses' are actually crack files that contain generative algorithms to generate keys, so it's false positive. But then again, some are legit dangerous viruses. As for Trojan Horse, mostly it is just a connection to the pirated game servers. I remembered back then when Garena client (online 'VPN' services for games like DotA) triggered a lot of false positives as well.
I recently bought a "new " (not refurbished, not upgraded) Dell laptop from the "Dell" store on Amazon. It was shipped from China from a vendor I've never heard of. I'll never buy another tech device from Amazon. I'd be more interested in plugging those into a sandbox and then tracking the outgoing traffic to see what data it's trying to send from your network and where it's sending it

"I don't understand how this is allowed" Whos going to stop them? This is the modern version of swap meets with pirated disks, no one has the manpower or drive to manage this kind of stuff.... specially internationally.
All the "8k" cables on amazon EVEN AMAZON ESSENTIALS are fake 4k cables. A real 8k cable costs like $130 but on amazon they sell fake ones for like $10-20.
Cables aren't officially rated by resolution but by whatever official display specs they support. Buy actual VESA-certified or HDMI-certified cables from reputable brands like Club 3D or Cable Matters, and you will be able to use 8K. There are copper ones that are real for $25. The $100+ ones are optical instead and are only used for extra-long cable runs.
Bastet bless your innocence, Dawid 🥰🥰 Most likely the detected viruses are actually false positives, since the antiviruses detect the cracks as viruses. As for the "OS" on the lastest hard drive, that's actually Launchbox, a dosbox frontend that evolved into a multisystem frontend. Since you can set up the images for each game, they actually gave a PS4 cover to PC games, wich is pretty smart if you ask me. Thanks for not endorsing piracy. Pretty tired of youtubers either endorsing it as a form of "rebellion" (wich i find both cringey and very childish) or tiptoeing around it. It was a nice video on the subject and it actually gave me some ideas for my setups (if only Batocera and others started using Ares as an alternative to Retroarch... Ugh)

btw nintendo is suing those that show content like this also. Saying Batocera is doing it is like saying Windows is doing the pirating because it can run cracked games.
if buying isn't owning then pirating isn't stealing
man, 10 min in and someone has already uploaded the sponsor block segment lol...
''Nintendo is the most litigious company, yet this is packed with Nintendo ROMs.''
China : ''I don't give a fuck. Here are games.''
I would bet money the Amazon sellers did not put the viruses in there but it was in fact whatever sketchy site they pirated the games from
All antivirus flag cracked versions of launchers as viruses. Not saying none of them are, there is no safe way to be a pirate.
@@KaijuAKD Pirating can be safe with common sense lmao.
Those are the methods used to change the registry values in order to launch those games.
10:56, That's ps1 though, not Ps2
A virtual boy video actually sounds amazing. Its such a different piece of tech and random different tech is your best type of videos imo
I copy the game files/roms off the drive then send it back lol - I have a huge collection now of roms and emulators
smort
7:48 idk man that one dude who found a super decent pc in a dumpster a while back on Reddit may disagree i think it had a thread ripper and a 40 series card that had just a little water damage but worked after replacing Psu and something else.
Just chiming in to say that the Batocera project is an incredible feat and I hope everyone tries it out.
You're gonna get DMCA'd by Nintendo just for showing this.
They should be in favor of a respected reviewer exposing the Amazon marketing of these, not to say that you aren't correct.
not even just nintendo, pretty much everyone out there who owns these games since these games are clearly pirated
He's going to get DMCA'd by Nintendogs just for saying NIntendot.
No he won't, thats not how it works. If he was playing first party Switch games then MAYBE.
@@vgamonitor Not all companies are litigious about roms as Nintendo, some don't care.
I'd be more interested in plugging those into a sandbox and then tracking the outgoing traffic to see what data it's trying to send from your network and where it's sending it
I bought a few of those shady flash drives with 1000's of roms for PC and for DS Lite.
Best money spent.
"2 whole ports" conveniently ignores the HDMI port on the other side.
Bout time for a new profile pic...
That’s true!
Oh an dawid upload happy day, can we have a video on how you look after your hair as ive recently grown mine out and it looks like a rats nest, I want a beautiful lions main like your.
You snitch.
😂😂😂
Does that mean I'm getting stitches? 😅
There's no way those weren't PC versions of those games not PS4.
Those PS4 games are just pirated PC steam copies disguised as "PS4" game. In fact there's no complete stable PS4 emulator release as of yet. Though you can use ShadPS4 to emulate Bloodborne at 60fps for you dark soul nerds out there 😁
"I don't understand how this is allowed" Whos going to stop them?
The $100+ ones are optical instead and are only used for extra-long cable runs.
amazon is basically temu now, zero quality control and most of it is scams from China.
Ugh)
Damn I realy hate these auto translated Videos
I just want to watch english videos but UA-cam always pushes these German Translations on me and like 90% of the Videos i cant even choose the original Audio track
But great Video tho
Oh no way? You couldn't change it back to the original audio track? That sucks..
@AnnaDoes yeah its kinda bugged in the UA-cam App on my Phone
You don't need a virtual boy. You can just use the Quest to emulate it and you get the full 3d effect! You can even customize the color if you want something besides red.
@9:00 VR Credit? Can you not read? VC Redist - the redistributable runtime libraries for Visual C.
Hahaha, I was laughing there 😂
