I am impressed with the beauty and quietness of the English countryside and would prefer it for a walk. The downtown area of Vancouver has a lot of character to it and is really nice in the Summer. Both areas are nice. As PJ said, it would be nice to be able to sit on bench that was shown first. I would find it very rewarding. Nice videos. 😃👍 Thank you Dave.
Two very different outings. England’s country side is beautiful. I would certainly like to have a moment of reflection on that bench. Vancouver’s urban scene is highlighted by the warmth of the places visited in the pub crawl. The loon brings a sense of closeness to nature cherished by locals to an otherwise noisy city. Preference: First one for calm and peace ❤; Second one for social connections. 🎉
The English countryside in May, still no finer place anywhere in the world. Vancouver was a nice city, but like many in North America it's on the decline.
The thing that struck me most was how dreadful the Canadian "pubs" were. More like a spartan Macdonalds with no atmosphere. Perhaps it was just the 2 you fimed. The vista beyond the canal looked interesting but you probably needed to get some distance to find somewhere peaceful. Biased on Blighty😊

We actually did a pub crawl that day Bruno so there were more but not captured. Mind you, I've been in a few sparse British pubs too.
