If that’s not a Cult I don’t know what is. Normal families might have very severe disagreements but they very rarely disown you.
It depends on the family and the dynamic between family members. I know people whose family disowned them and friends of mine who are estranged from their parents and siblings because thier families were abusive.

What do they do in the bank? I have a vision of a line up of little kids carrying bags of money to the vault.
They make them do janitorial work and then desk jobs. It's child labor of thousands of children.

The Utah far from saints ,it’s so ridiculous that people believe in some bloke finding gold tablets in the woods,it’s a system of control I totally believe there’s a divine power and I’m sure that this creator doesn’t need to threaten people to be believed in ,the more organised the religion the further from the divination and understanding of creation is.
