I love my Rolex I wear it most days but i also have others for special occasions.
The only watch worth anything there is the first all factory Datejust. The diamonds bring absolutely NO value to a Rolex UNLESS it’s factory.
Exactly... It can't even be serviced once it's "hit" with diamonds. Once you alter it, the warranty is void.
Not even that. It has aftermarket band and the model is from 80's. It only has a real movement inside thats about it.
Never been a fan of these iced out Rolexes, takes away from the real beauty and craftsmanship

The comment about frankenstein watches sounds convincing because ---As I commented earlier in the thread--- I am totally baffled how a genuine rolex can be sold at the prices listed in one of the other videos by this jeweler. She was quoting 15k for diamond encrusted rolexes. Submariners Date's go for just over 8k (often a waiting list), and Daytona's open at prices that are above what she is claiming are rolexes with diamonds??? Those 'rolexes' are likely once no-longer operating genuine's that were made operable from spare parts of other watches. I would not be surprised at all that at least several parts inside these watches she is selling were not discards from genuine parts that no longer meet Rolex requirements and were systematically replaced. I would love to have the movements discussed by her in a video...If the movements have any 'AFTER MARKET' parts then it is not any longer a rolex movement. The movement is the most imprtant part of the watch, but how these cases and bands have been hybrided out with aftermarket stuff is already raising eyebrow.

There are standard prices on New Rolexes. And authorized dealers can lose the privilege to receive new ones from the company to sell if they deviate from rolexes strict brand rules. I have repeatedly gone overseas to visit Rolex service locations, I have some experience. And as regards how strict rolex prices are: I have walked into jewelry stores in America that were going out of business and tried to get them to mark down the rolex watches the way they did the other jewelry and they would not/could not budge to anything ressembling the drops in the prices of their other stuff. Would not even sell me the rolex dispay tray, or the rolex display mirror (That stuff had to be shipped back to the company). Her watches are they prices they are for other reasons.

I am baffled at how these Rolex models are selling so inexpensive. There are waiting list on Submariners in many markets, and yet in some of the earlier videos this jeweler is claiming to provide them crusted-out with diamonds at under 15k.
I own a Cartier. I don’t like Rolex watches. They just aren’t my style.
