most of the boxes they give you arent even real from a lot of “dealers” - papers dont mean anything - you have to know watches inside and out - check out the movement for aftermarket parts and such - the real way to know if its fake is when it goes in for a service to Rolex - they dont service fake watches - they will also remove any affermarket prts - yes they will take your custom diamond besel and bracelet off lol - never send a diamond watch aftermarket to be serviced by rolex :-)

The funny thing is, steel Rolex watches are in massive demand right now with multi-year waiting lists and diamonds are actually a plentiful resource with a supply that is artificially kept low to maintain high value.
Rolex's supply is also kept low by design to create more demand.
4:32 "Certified appraisal" does not mean you get automatic coverage if anything were ton be lost or stolen. The appraisal gives you the opportunity to go get it insured from an insurance company (usually home/renter's insurance) which you pay for yearly to have coverage in case it were lost or stolen.

Really didn't feel like responding but i think you actually believe you have proven me wrong. Obviously Rolex sells watches with diamonds, never once did i say they didn't. What I said is "if you want to spot a cheap Rolex its the one with a bunch of diamonds". Meaning if your at one of these mom and pop shops buying an iced out Rolex its likely low-end. Rolex doesn't mass manufacturer watches like that so what alot of these shops do is buy lower-end Rolex watches and add to them a bunch of trash diamonds and sell it to assclowns like yourself for 10x the value because you believe thats what money looks like. Go buy one then get it appraised for insurance and you will then understand. You can customize any Rolex but to buy a legitimate mens Pearlmaster is well above most people's budget so when you see iced out Rolexs they are likely low-end watches that have had diamonds added. Not saying all but most. I know I personally would never buy a Rolex from anywhere but a Rolex store because the market is flooded with high quality counterfeits which just adds to what I'm saying. These mom and pop shops will sell you a high qaulity fake and add legit diamonds to it. The lesson here is diamonds are often used to mask value where people think its adding value. The lady in the video actual proves what I'm saying to be true.

If you pay attention closely the SI watch was hitting way harder. Colors showed better on camera I notice the higer quality diamonds have tons of color on front camera when you zoom in slightly

Papers are half the value. They're certificates from the maker that the product is numbered of the collection and let's you register it. It's like a car with no title. It has value, hut without papers, it's not worth as much
I wouldn't trust that watch on the right. The numerals look mashed together. The spacing is too great in some spaces. She did mention that the one on the left was original factory. If not a complete fraud, the one on the right is still a bad custom job.

It's all about the quality, cut and colour of the stone. A high quality half carrot can cost 10x more than a poor one carrot. As for age, its already a few million years old so a few extra years doesn't matter. As for the watch being bigger and newer so it costs more is not always true. Larger watches are more fashionable at the moment so if you have two exactly the same watches the larger one will sell for more. Many smaller Rolex's that can be 50 years old sell for a lot more than new ones and don't have any diamonds.

Here in Detroit our Jewelers are Taxing on Rolex. 7500 for a 36 that out of state jewelers charge 5k for. Her prices are correct and reasonable. Depends on the model of the Rolex. That 2018 plain Jane she had is a STEAL! For 14k 40+mm new. For 3k more you can get a used older presidential.

I'll help you out, If you get a diamond bezel have the original one with it b.c. it loses value once you bust it down. You pay more but it isn't worth more like a car with original with matching numbers. A new 41mm datejust is 9k from brombergs. You can get a 36 older model in datejust for about 4g.

Its actually very difficult to grade diamonds and highly skilled. Its impossible without using high magnification to check for flaws and you need to remove the stone to find its colour and size.
