I’ll be honest I had my fun with 3D all stars. When my brother visited me earlier this year we played galaxy together, each holding a joycon. He controlled the movement, I controlled the jumping. It was great. I had a lot of fun.
Honestly, say what you will about the rest of Nintendo, the Joycons were genius. I find them more comfortable to use than a normal controller, and they're super versatile too. The comfort of having your arms parallel is nice. The HD rumble is a big leap, although the PS5 controller is now a match for that, and it's good for motion controls without sacrificing it's normal usability. Plus the way it can function as two controllers in a pinch. Not two GOOD controllers, but still. So yeah, Nintendo makes good (original) games and sometimes makes good controllers, the rest of Nintendo is meh at best.
I've heard that Galaxy 2 wasn't included most likely due to some internal conflicts at Nintendo during its development. Some older employees probably still have bad memories about it and would rather not bring them back

Hell I've outdone Nintendo on actual Nintendo Hardware, with like an entire Mario collection on the Wii U, including all these games, utilizing the decomp of Mario 64 to greatly enhance that game with 16:9 full camera control and 60fps, enabling widescreen for all GameCube games on the Wii U gives Sunshine the proper 16:9 aspect ratio, and of course you can also install Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 to the Wii U menu, just like these other games. In addition to that, you also have Super Mario 3D World. A single line of games on the Wii U menu is 5 games. It is very satisfying to see these 5 games on the same line. Additionally I've filled up the other 10 spots on that page of the Wii U menu with all the other classic Mario games: 1-3, World, Maker, NSMB, NSMBW, NSMBU + NSLU, Land, and Land 2. This is a very very satisfying page of my Wii U. It extends to another page with notable rereleases: Asvance 4 with all the extra eReader levels, 64DS, enhanced for the Wii U for proper full analog control and right stick camera control, All-Stars, etc. Now granted I can't go 4k like you can when you emulate, but I love the fact that I have all this on actual Nintendo hardware running like a dream. It's the true Mario All-Stars collection and then some.
super mario 3d all stars somehow living rent free in people’s heads for over two years at this point is one of the greatest mysteries of our time, people got REALLY bent out of shape over this collection and seeing people still talk about it is honestly hilarious

That's nice, but it doesn't change the fact that "3D All Stars" was a lazy cash grab and almost no effort was put into it.
The fact that you even provided the music cites used in your video, you are legit.
I've heard that Galaxy 2 wasn't included most likely due to some internal conflicts at Nintendo during its development. Some older employees probably still have bad memories about it and would rather not bring them back
What bad memories would they be?
Thought it was because of how dependent the game was on IR moving?
@@nikkoa.3639 I'm gonna wager that is the real reason.
@@nikkoa.3639 What's IR moving
@@kingofkings3477 The Wii had InfraRed sensors right? That was heavily utilized for Galaxy 2
If all the games ran 60fps I would be satisfied
Wow you absolutely nailed this!!! Every single one of these looked so clean and polished good job!! This video was sooooo flames!!!⭐️☀️🌟🦖
You earned a New Subscriber!!!!💛
This is what the release should’ve been like, I would love add this title to my library when I get The Switch for Christmas
You gained a new subscriber today, my friend!!!! This was absolutely astonishing and very pleasant to watch. 🥰
The biggest sin Nintendo has ever committed was not including galaxy 2
They have a schedule to reach. In comparison, Sega wasnt even able to make a non buggy Sonic Origins upon launch. And theyre all 2D games.
Glad I found you at 400 subscribers. You’re one of my favorite new creators and I’m hoping you stay consistent and get huge. Going to support you all the way up!
Thanks for your support!
Nintendo are hard to beat with first party entries, however re-releases and remasters are very hit and miss, it's insane
You’re making such great videos!
Thank you!
Now the Mario galaxy games look like how I remember them through nostalgia glasses
Dude this is amazing Nintendo should hire you
@@stevenstrumpf7 Didn’t Super Mario 64 delay the Nintendo 64 twice?
@@stevenstrumpf7 Uh, Nintendo has nothing to do with the development of Pokemon.
That's all on GameFreak and TPC.
Hire for what? For installing bunch of mods without proper playtesting and calling it a day?
"...runs in 4k" on the nintendo switch, a console with a 720p/1080p screen
why nintendo has to hire someone else (who did a mediocre job) when you did x10 better, thank you very much.
I would literally pay money for a retail copy of this remastered, revamped game! :D
11Tech does what Nintendont! 🤣
Me seeing the video at 480P “oh yeah beautifull 4k 60fps Mario gamplay”
Sei italiano?
penso di sì, bel video però, considerando so 12 minuti in inglese perfettamente capibile
@@skyllerz7631 infatti gli faccio i complimenti perché lo parla molto bene
Grazie ragazzi, si sono italiano!
A fellow Galaxy 2 enthusiast. Always good to see
You made nothing.
I would love that, with the Mario Bros movie, Nintendo released a "Mario 3D More stars", with 3D Land and Galaxy 2
Nintendo has gotten greedy.
Has? They were always greedy.
@@4horsemenoftheapocalypse58 I got a Nintendo 64 with Super Mario 64 and three other games on Christmas 99/00 and vertainly didn't feel that way back then but you're probably right xD
3:20 I've been dying to find a way to improve SM64 on Dolphin's Wii VC.
Thanks a ton for this, man!
This is what a remaster should have been. Dude it weren't remasters in the online expansion
retro video game piracy is justified because they are not willing to provide a way to play them legally
Funny thing about Mario Galaxy in 3D All Stars, it's the only game that (partially) runs natively on Switch. Sunshine and 64 are emulated.
Thanks for these sweet jams on the side. Great video!
*see's Galaxy 2 in the thumbnail**
"SAY NO MORE!!!" 👆
You brought the Backwards Long Jump back!
10:03 Finally! Someone on the internet that likes Galaxy 2 more than 1! Both are spectacular but I thought my cousin and I were the only ones that prefer 2! Galaxy 2 is like the most fun game ever!
Feels always good to see this type of content from Italian people, continua così, subbed
This is what we thought we were going to get when the game was announced.
It all together looks amazing! The developers of these did really good work!
I always thought it was cool how SMG2 was the first truly direct sequel to a Mario game since The Lost Levels. And just like the Lost Levels, the gameplay is almost identically the same just more difficult.
Hey there, fellow Italian here! I highly appreciate your videos! Sub definitely earned
2020??? What happened to time man, it feels like it was yesterday
I never fully finished the galaxy games and this makes me want to SO BAD it's amazing to have updates that make the games truly feel like they are recent releases
Only changes I would make are adding galaxy 2 and replacing sm64 shindou version with NTSC-U so you can backwards long jump
They really needed to add Mario Galaxy 2 and Mario 64 DS to this collection
I just like the unintentional auditor's accent is. It just makes the vid even-a-betar.
I'm Italian, that's why!
It's the true Mario All-Stars collection and then some.
my changes: have an option to play a modern graphics version (like Halo masterchief collection), remove glitches from sunshine, improve aspect ratio
super mario 3d all stars somehow living rent free in people’s heads for over two years at this point is one of the greatest mysteries of our time, people got REALLY bent out of shape over this collection and seeing people still talk about it is honestly hilarious
Do More Of This Tech PLEASE I BEG YOU!!!! You are underrated for a youtuber/coder that's for sure!
I think it would've been interesting to do this project based on the hardware of the Switch as an example to show what could techincally be possible on the hardware.
Nintendo should seriously consider hiring this guy to make the next Mario game tbh
As aomeone who was never able to play Sunshine or Galaxy
This was an easy buy for me
Especially because I got 3 full games for the price of 1
Putting 4 instead of 3 together would be a world of difference.
Si sente subito che sei italiano! Sono cresciuto con i giochi di mario per gamecube e wii, è sempre bello vedere che i fan hanno ancora a cuore i titoli del passato e si adoperano per renderli immortali
you can make it even better!
Take out EVERYTHING that isn't Super Mario 64! BAM! Instantly better!
I honestly expected a bit more then making the games look better, but this is good enough.
I tired using shaders, but since I'm on a mac it wasn't really possible
I guess I'm spoiled by Sonic Mega Collection from the Gamecube, but adding in Galaxy 2 and making the games play better isn't enough. There needs to be cool unlockable content like development sketches, videos, old trailers, maybe even additional games. They could have put some little Mario games in this as unlockables like the Game Boy Donkey Kong, Mario's Picross, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, etc.
beccato subito, contento che la fanbase italiana si stia integrando in questo mondo, continua così
Grazie, grazie e ancora grazie. Per fortuna c’è qualcuno che queste cose le prende veramente a cuore e mi ha fatto enormemente piacere vedere il lavoro che hai fatto!
You deserve my subscription and Nintendo needs to do this
True, I only made the video, the launcher, put all of this stuff together, searched all of this stuff and credited the original authors (and one of them was also happy with the video, check the pinned comment)
@@11tech But you compiled everything beautifully
