Yeah they couldn't run on Wednesday because a tamper derailed, so two crews ran and split the work on Thursday which led to the accident. Crazy how life works from time to time eh?
My apologies for the misunderstandings of the descriptions here. I mistakenly thought, by your descriptions, that "spanning" this Alco , and damaging it, had to do with a traction motor burnout of some kind. My bad! This railroad collided with a tow truck, per the comments and descriptions here and needed to be turned around so to be placed within the shop for repairs.
I've said this before in a comment about one of your videos, but I still LOVE that RS32's horn!!!
I love the sound of those Alcos. Nice catch!!!
Thanks a lot!
@@mattygunn693 you’re welcome buddy!
Love watching these Alco's doing switching.
Thank you for the video and the info! I saw the train WB in Medina Thursday afternoon. I was wondering why they were working on a Thursday.

"thankfully with no injuries!". Alco's can be repaired, lives can't.
Something wasn't in the clear, oops.
They hit a tow truck...
Did they hit the tow truck on the Long Crossing at Telegraph Road? I saw a bunch of emergency vehicles and an ambulance there late this morning
The collision with the tow truck happened yesterday in Fancher.
