Same here but I’ve discovered if I blot my face with a soft towel, it softens the shine and it actually ends up looking much better. I was about to toss it but the price is too high to not try and use it up. I’ve also been using it on my arms and chest where I don’t mind a glow.
Me too! I couldn’t get it off fast enough. I need a whole cabinet to hold the cosmetics and SPF lotions that I’ve bought upon recommendation and was horrified at how awful the were.
Yep, you called it, I would love to see a matte sunscreens video! I need an untinted chemical or combo sunscreen, fragrance and alcohol free, that also doesn’t feel like straight silicone like Supergoop Unseen. Whew, I think I’m just too picky, but it’s what I’m looking for! I did try Drmtlgy’s untinted one, and I do like it but still on the hunt for something more mattifying as my natural oils provide all the glow I need! Thanks again for your videos and all the work you put in to make them accurate and organized!
Awww that was my comment about lecithin! I was so worried I had offended you!!! I also used to mispronounce it…it’s kind of a dumb word LOL!!! What about European sunscreens? They’re harder to get, and I don’t remember if you have tried any, but I’ve heard a lot of Europeans swear by them and them only. Also, I’d certainly love to hear about matte finish sunscreens (even the ones you didn’t like!). I love your videos. You do the best job!!! Thank you so much!!!
When you put on that SuperGoop Glow Sunscreen and a big clump got in in your eye, I nearly called a code 23-19. My eyes would have caught on fire. I would love a mineral sunscreen review as I cannot use chemical sunscreens
Omg same and something that slightly irritates me is her hair sticking to her face and her just leaving it there... please push your hair fully off your face with a proper headband, like the Velcro style ones.
Abbey! Tula has a new launch tomorrow and based on the name it seems right up your alley. It’s called the Radiant Skin Brightening Serum Skin Tint Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 If you try please share! 30 shades which we love to see😍
I agree. I cannot use glow sunscreens as my main sunscreen. I think these are made for people who just use a tiny bit of sunscreen. Using the recommended amount with these....eeekkk!
ABBBEY!! Please review the undefined beauty r & r Sun serum. It’s spf 50, mineral, tinted, PA+++, waterproof, fa safe, non comedegenic! I would love to see an ingrediant analysis from you!
I didn’t know about two layers of sunscreen until you! So much better coverage and smoother application. Thank you. I might try a glow second layer. Maybe :) Thanks for the review!
What sunscreen doesn’t burn your eyes? Every one I’ve ever tried burns my eyes 😩. I wish I could rub it all around my eyes like Abby does. Burns so much 😩
@@Crystal0139 They burn my eyes too girl 👀😬😵 Have you tried the Cerave Hydrating SPF 30 tinted sunscreen? It doesn't seem to bother my eyes near as much as others.
@@cassthompson3386 lol ur right it’s not as bad Im using a Cereve hydrating spf 30 but it’s not tinted, it’s not as bad. I wanted to get some higher spfs so I’ve been trying a few and they all burn 😩. Eyes be watering so bad lol
Could you maybe review the brand called Florence by mills, by Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven in stranger things? The skincare products not the makeup it would be really nice to hear your opinion about it!
Colorscience glow is my favorite glowy one! You should try it! I just mix a little in to my flex. They have a bronze one too for when I’m self tanning to mix in.
👍🥰👏 Love all your videos, Abbey. I am from the other side of the world and some of the American products are not easily available. You are the number 1 most attractive and beautiful Beauty Products Influencers I have come across so far! Well, I believe that other than external topical skincare products and regimens, your daily diet nourishing and beautifying you from within, may also be making you look glowingly good and is something I am very interested to get to know. May I request that you do a video on what you think is a age-defying diet or "what I eat in a week" please? Thank you ☺️🤗
Just tried the Supergoop Glow Screen. Hated it. First off, I applied three finger lines worth. Looked like an alien. Dear lord, Not good. Let it fully dry. Went on with my makeup and my makeup sort of “mottled”. Patchy and weird looking. Kept going…then the eye watering started. Took over an hour before my eyes stopped tearing up. Throwing it away. Buyer be warned.
I feel like all these glowy/Dewy products only look good on 20 year olds who don’t have texture or visible pores lol. If you’re over 30 it just highlights all the texture and pores on your face. I find matte is more smoothing, but unfortunatly also drying. What do you use if you have dry combo skin with texture but want a natural satin/matte finish?
Got Supergoof glowscreen yesterday, eagerly used it this morning and completely disappointed. It darkened my skin to at least 2 tones, too shiny and when I tried to use my Laura powder to control it, the 2 don't go with each other. The sunscreen and powder created weird patches all over. I ended up removing all of it and used my normal Vichy sunscreen instead...
Sunscreen can be such a struggle when walking to and from classes in the hot sun makes sunscreen drip when you reapply 😭 I try to use a mineral sunscreen at home (tinted Elta MD) then use a stick sunscreen to go
Love this! Thank you so much. Love a glowy sunscreen. Could you do a run down on silicone free suncreams? I don't mind mineral or chemical tbh... but I try to avoid dimethicone... and it's really hard to find a good one!
What is bad about dimethicone? I work in the industry so I am not going to come after you, just curious. An alternative to dimethicone in sunscreen would be plant oils, but everyone would be returning them to the store, LOL.
@@kristenjunker1632 well, I've reacted to most things with dimethicone in. First of all I hate the silky smooth touch that is fake But second... I dont like the acne I seem to get. My skin is SO much happier when I use stuff without dimethicone, or at least dimethicone is far down the ingredients list.
Abbey I noticed you applied all of the sunscreens very close to then eyes. Don’t they cause any irritation on your eyes? I’m about to finish my first Supergoop, but it makes me cry is to heavy on my eyes.. I need to be really careful not to apply very close to my eyes.. :( (forget about my eyelids). Which of your any other recommendations do you think can avoid that?
Hi Abbey, Love your video's!! I know this review is 11 months old, but I was wondering...I was told the the Colorscience Glow version does not have iron oxides. Do you know if this is true? Thanks.
Too bad, for me as a non-native English speaker it is much too fast, and it would be very good to show the texts alone in large font to be able to read it in peace
I tried the Supergoop Glow Screen and I just stared back at myself in the mirror for a good while, looking like the gold version of the tin man.

🤣🤣
Yikes!
I found wrinkles I didn't know I had with the glow screen..lol

Oh my gosh, I got a sample of the Heimish Artless Glow with my Isentree order and had to order a full bottle immediately. Love it!
I would love to see a matte/natural finish sunscreen video ❤️
same
Supergoop has a mat finish sunscreen and it’s awesome no shine no greasy heavy feeling 😊

Another idea: best body sunscreens (cheaper per ounce, larger bottles, good dry down, no staining clothing..,)
Love this video Abbey - you look radiant and your glow game is strong.. Hope all is amazing with you xx
I'm surprised to see you here! I love your channel as well! 😘

I started using the SunBum glow sunscreen and I really like it!
Tha ks for the reviews!
I love heimish from last year. It was SPF 40 so it's nice they have reformulated to make it SPF 50. Have to try it!
These sunscreen videos are so through and amazing.! The only suggestion would be to add the price 😊

I loooooove the glow stick from supergoop, I'm a sucker for them because it's the only brand that doesn't make me break up.

The new MD Solar Sciences glow sunscreen is great - similar to Glow Screen but a little less tinny and dries down better imo
I use Paula’s Choice mineral sunscreen, it is matte and I love it.
Just when I said I was not going to buy more sunscreen 😁 thank you Abbey ❤️ 💘 🥳 🌞🌞🌞
I LOVE your haircare videos a lot of people talk about hair but i don't see too many people that do deep-dives into the science behind it

Aloha From Oahu, Loving the sunscreen content the sun here is extreme compared to the mainland . 🏝
European / UK sunscreens. They have amazing filters too
I'm going to try the sum bum
