A DLC featuring Ming, Japanese, and Korean campaigns, along with the addition of the Tang, Song, and Jin civilizations, would offer exciting gameplay and historical depth. Such a DLC could provide players with a richer experience, exploring the dynamics and conflicts between these prominent civilizations during various time periods. The Ming campaign could delve into the rise of the Ming Dynasty and its military exploits, including defending against Mongol invasions, suppressing rebellions, and expanding their influence in East Asia. The Japanese campaign could highlight significant events such as the Sengoku period or the attempted invasions of Korea. Players would engage in naval warfare, conduct sieges, and strategize to achieve their objectives in the context of Japan's historical conflicts and ambitions. The Korean campaign would offer a unique perspective, focusing on the rich history of the Korean kingdoms and their interactions with neighboring powers. It could feature pivotal moments such as the Three Kingdoms period or the Joseon Dynasty, with scenarios involving diplomatic negotiations, territorial disputes, and military campaigns. The addition of the Tang, Song, and Jin civilizations would be a fantastic inclusion, allowing players to explore the unique strengths, technologies, and strategies of these influential Chinese dynasties. Each civilization would offer distinct units, technologies, and architecture styles, providing diverse gameplay experiences. Overall, such a DLC would provide players with a broader historical context and a range of exciting campaigns to experience. It would deepen their understanding of East Asian history and offer new strategic challenges within the Age of Empires 2 framework.
Yes, absolutely agree, we have no campaign for either of the three. I don't think they should add several different Chineses dynasties that are succesors to each other. I agree that there might be room for more Chinese civs, but they would have to be split in a different way. In many ways thoughs, allthough they are a large civ, China was also a more centralized and unified state during the period than say the Holy Roman Empire or France. For a Japanese campaign I would go with a multi-generational campaign following a family of samurai throught the Genpei war, the Mongol invasion and the Onin war. Sengoku has been done enough and we already have a Korean invasion scenario.
@@magnusdustler1490 Totally! If you drop the civ fragmentation it's still a solid DLC. I am not versed in Eastern Asian history, so I asked ChatGPT for help lol. This is also old, I changed it to a samurai campaign like the one you mentioned!
I played the 1582 - Tokyo map. That Map was Clearly A Event Of Honnoji Event. Where Nobunaga died during Mitsuhide rebellion. However I don’t find the Accuracte to be Exact. Cause Hydeoshi receive the Report after Nobunaga died.
The 1582 Tokyo Shoulda replace with Battle of Yamazaki Or Final Showdown of Sekigahara Or Conquest of Odara (Hideyoshi united land) Or Conquest of Osaka (Ieyasu conquer Or Osaka and Bring the Ieyasu Shogunate)
well basically what happened is the following:the mongol fleet took sail 2 times in a row aaaaand.....got sunk by storms 2 times in a row,the japanese themselves hardly did anything 😂😂😂😂😂,this is where the word kamikaze comes from
