Just watched your two "hater" videos. I'm 64yo, and I resigned myself long ago as to the fact that "it takes all kind of people, "people will will be people," etc... etc... etc... I took early retirement at 62yo in order to have guaranteed income due to personal issues. No tv, so I watch a lot of UA-cam and I am subscribed to 74 Gear. When I was 12 on a 747 transatlantic flight from Madrid to the USA in the 80's, I experienced a disturbing moment when I went to the lavatory. The latch showed "vacant" so I opened the door and found in the dark a very attractive woman almost naked, dressed only in full red lace bra, knickers and red stockings. What a sight. She must have been waiting for someone a bit more grown up and was very embarassed to see my inocent child face.

RIGHT! NO MILE HIGH CLUB WHEN YOU AR E ON THE GROUND! WE HAD AN OLD DC3 THAT LIVED BACK IN THE CORNER OF THE HANGAR. I WAS WORKING THE NIGHT SHIFT AND SECURITY. ONE OF MY WALKS I NOTICED THE OLD "GOONY BIRD" WAS BOUNCING UP AND DOWN IN THE QUITE, DARK CORNER. I KEPT AN EYE ON THE SMALL DOOR THAT WE ALL HAVE TO USE AT NIGHT BECAUSE THE LARGE MASSIVE DOORS WERE LOCKED EVERY NIGHT.

I remember the time we were getting ready to land in Spain. The pilot said over the intercom: "Thank you for flying with us, remember to adjust your watches forward one hour. Please fly with us again and have a nice day."
I guess he forgot to turn off the intercom because he next said: ''Well Robert, I cant wait to have a huge dump and then meet Nancy in the hotel for hot sex!"
Well, I guess the flight attendant next to us was Nancy, because when she heard this, she ran full speed toward the cockpit. Unfortunately, she tripped over a bag and tripped into the isle. Doing a somersault as she tripped up. Fortunately, a little, old lady helped her back up. I could hear the old lady saying to the flight attendant: "There's no rush, he has to have a huge dump first." 🥁

Thirded. Although with the last story if I’d have been the flight attendant, I would have likely looked totally shocked for a few seconds but provided that Kelsey hadn’t started talking to defend and explain himself by the time my brain had processed the situation, most likely I would have silently indicated an acknowledgment that I understood.
And then probably whispered “Is that what it sounds like?” As a neutral way to start the whispered conversation that I hope is going to lead to an explanation and from the way the story went, I would have gotten very quickly. Afterwards I probably would never either suggested just taking the shoes off anyway to sneak out, or just said “Oh okay, fair enough but I’m going to go and wait outside. Feel free to put your headphones back on.” Before sneaking back outside as silently as possible.
But the thing is, I wouldn’t have shown any kind of disapproval largely because I really wouldn’t have cared either way. Even if I hadn’t believed the explanation, the truth is that it’s not any of my business and unless it’s harming anyone then people are free to indulge in whatever kink gets them going. There’s no judgment here.
I don’t know what that says about me, but there it is.

My complex doesn't really like smoking around the buildings. So late at night I head over to the clubhouse/pool/tennis court area to smoke a cigar and listen to a podcast. (This area is secluded a good distance away and there's typically no one there at night.) I'm sitting there in my camping chair in the middle of the tennis court and 2 guys pull up, get out of their car, strip naked, and proceed to enjoy each other's company for the next 15 minutes twenty feet from me. Awkward. Still not sure if they didn't see me or didn't care.

Kelsey's chirpy delivery always brightens up my day and, without getting political on here, I wanted specifically to mention how delightful it was that the whole gay aspect was incorporated into the first "adventure" in such a charming and unabashed way - which just serves to normalise the whole thing. While, after 25 years of marriage to a woman, there were for sure "alternative" endings to what turned out to be merely a comedy of errors for the Captain in question(even if I DID find the "pilot fatigue" argument SLIIIIIIIGHTLY suspicious for the reportedly accidental downloading of Grindr....😏), I think this was another step in the right direction. Nice one, Kelsey!

There was a light plane crash near where I grew up that happened when I was a kid.
Witnesses said the plane was flying along like normal when it suddenly pitched over and took a nose dive right into the ground.
There had been two people aboard, a man (pilot) and a woman. Neither were wearing their seatbelts or, it turned out, anything else.
At first they suspected suicide, but when they discovered the two were naked (the plane burned on impact and both bodies suffered extreme fire damage, so it wasn't obvious at first that they died naked) and then the discover that both were sitting in the left pilot's seat.
They think what happened was the couple were having sex and at some point the control yoke was pushed violently..
This produced a rather strong negative G load causing both to fall against the roof of the plane.
The pilot was unable to regain control before the plane hit the ground at about 75 degrees nose down.

I also worked a few jobs at the time so i got like 2 hours of sleep a night. I'd take naps in various places, maintenance training aircraft and such. I often slept in the back of a Sabreliner, one day i woke up and it was being towed into the hangar for a demo.
But the funniest was sleeping in a Cessna 210 systems training fuselage, it was used to train for servicing oxygen systems. I was asleep with my head next to the service door when a middle eastern student came in, opened the door and started feeling around for the oxygen bottle valve. Instead he grabbed my head and was feeling it like he was trying to figure out what it was. I woke up, grabbed his wrist, pulled it slightly and let go, he shrieked and ran away while calling on Allah. I got out of the aircraft and went back to working on my own projects when he comes back several minutes later virtually DRAGGING his instructor over to the fuselage pointing and telling him 'there's something in there!'. I watched from across the hangar as they looked and found nothing and both left confused.

I never understood why ppl tend to congregate near a door to listen to others 'having fun' or embarrass them when they finish and 're-appear'. Which many more ppl were pragmatic and logical in this manner. Just about everyone has smashed in a pubic place for whatever reason/kink and the thrill is to not get caught; and embarrassing them just ruins it for them and most likely for life. I think ppl are just jealous it's not them. So everyone, if it's not a legit safety concern, then let the ppl have their fun and just let them be.

I haven’t driven any particularly powerful cars yet, but as a kid, I was allowed to (and was quite good at!) using the regulator (aka throttle), and these electric multiple units had 16 motors adding up to nearly 3,000 horsepower. They were transmitting. I was told this story by one of the current Sheriff's at USH and was laughing my ass off because I USED TO do remote video surveillance work and have caught people trying to have sex in a parking structure. Apparently they didn't know there were cameras. Very high resolution PTZ cameras with very expensive zoom lenses. I could have sold that sh*t as porn.

@@Boypogikami132 There are times, every so often where I feel that being asexual (someone who doesn’t experience sexual attraction ever) really leaves me with a few blind spots where I have absolutely no frame of reference to enable me to understand. For example, wanting to join the “mile high club.” I mean if it’s like a private jet and there’s nobody else on the plane except the couple in question and the pilot-who is presumably in the flight deck at the controls, then okay whatever, I guess that’s one way to pass the time. Or, I dunno if your particular kink is pilots or aircraft or whatnot then, again, whatever there’s no judgment here.
But trying to join the mile high club on a commercial airliner? One fully loaded with passengers? In the toilet? That’s where my comprehension fails and I have no idea why anyone would ever want to do it in that situation. It can’t be comfortable, the space is tiny, they have to be quiet, toilets are generally not pleasant places and perhaps worst of all-not secure! The crew can override the lock pretty much at will. Now I haven’t flown in over a decade so I’m not sure what kind of locking override mechanism they have, but I work in a hospital and our public toilets have the same kind of override. We have a specific tool we’re supposed to use but I know a few everyday objects that would do the job.
And no, I’m not going to explain it here.
But similarly that situation makes no sense to me. Christ, if one finds one of their colleagues both attractive and willing then at least have the common sense to finish the shift and go home. Especially if it’s a job like being a cop where being on duty means the officer has to be ready to react fast if someone hits the emergency button on their radio. (In the UK at least. If a cop is in danger they can press a button on their radio that basically clears and overrides all the other radios and sets it to broadcast so every single cop in the city can hear and rush to help.) Or a car pursuit kicks off or something.
But again the location makes no sense to me either. What’s so appealing about a parking structure? Surely they’d be more comfortable at home. Again if police is their kink, again no judgment but they could play dress up and whatnot at home. Leaving the mic or radio on, eh people make mistakes.

That's the thing I've noticed about gay people, they aren't pushy about it. If you aren't into it, they leave you alone. Contrast that with an attractive woman/man, and all bets are off in the hetero community. If a gay person approaches you and you are not into that scene, it's a chill experience. Not so much on the other side.
Hell, some of the best wing people i have ever had were gay. In a gay bar. Yep, hetero's go to gay bars as well, usually just to hang out with friends, but all are welcome. Which can't always be said if the situations were reversed. It's all about accepting people for who they are.

There was one girl that did that job too and the day came that I had to get in the wing with her. She was about my age, single and we got on well but when she started talking about the mile high club it got a bit awkward then one thing led to the next and we had some fun.... at the end of the shift when we got out of the wing several on our team started clapping.... It was then that we realized that the wing without engines, flaps etc. start to move not just when you walk on the top of them....

I'm not sure right away if it's the pilot you're talking about or actually you yourself. Maybe use a fake name for the pilot instead of telling the stories in 1st person? For obvious reason, we couldn't enjoy it very long so we were "busy" for only approx.10 minutes but we did also spend a night together in HK since she wasn't due back until next day.

I was on a flight from Singapore to London (was living in Singapore at the time) and usually treated myself to business class on SQ (best in the world I reckon!). If anyone has been on the original SQ business on the A380, the seats were hugely wide. It was a night flight and there was a guy in the aisle seat opposite me (I was in the middle row). He was a little "tipsy" and was shortly joined by an equally tipsy girl. As it was a night flight, the cabin lights were dimmed - and they started getting more frisky than tipsy. Cabin crew came by and politely asked said "lady" to return to her own seat for more "comfort". This was ignored and as soon as the FA got to the galley, they started again and were definitely aiming for the MH club lol. FA reappeared just in time and insisted she move to her own seat "now". Bloke goes to the toilet (hopefully to pee lol) and FA came back to apologise to me (at least SHE realised I was awake haha). Seemingly the "couple" were total strangers and the girl said to the FA that they met in the lounge and get acquainted over some free booze (the SQ lounge in Changi was great). FA apologised to me and just rolled her eyes as bloke came back from the bathroom. Better that than the other time when some guy was drunk when he boarded and drank some more and then threw up all over himself and the seat. That was not pleasant on a sealed metal tube with recirculating air!

Hi Kelsey! Loved this. When I separated from who would be soon my divorced wife, I was dejected as I took a flight leaving her. I was in coach, but right up near the galley, which had a curtain separating coach from first class, etc. I was asked by a steward, and a stewardess later why I was so glum. I told them of my recent 'trial' separation, and I was dejected. After condolences they went back to work. The curtain was closed. In a bit I noticed the curtain moving a little near me, and then in hushed voices I heard the two of them talking dirty, and realized they were probably touching one another. It got more heated, and I was somewhat embarrassed (back then, at age 23, not today!). It got quiet, and then whoosh, the curtain was swept aside, and they were both holding each other (but not really sexually!) - and they told me "Got You!" - and they wanted me to cheer up. I received some champaign, and their devoted attention for the remainder of what was a short flight. That was over 4 decades ago, but I will never forget it. Possibly/Probably I will someday move in with, or visit for an extended time with my Ex. She is my daughters mother, and a good one. We've kept in touch over the years. She's been single for years now, not that it matters for we are beyond that point of thinking about it. However that flight was really depressing, and the crew was inspiring to me.

Never had a pilot come out just to talk when I worked ramp...we aslo worked ERJs and CRJs with the baggage compartment in the back and it was cramped and dirty...no hanky panky in there. Most of the ladies that I worked ramp with were far manlier than I am so that killed any thoughts of it too...they could throw bags with the best of them and would have probably killed me had we ever got into that situation. We had a couple of supervisors that got caught in a ramp room and we had a place where bags were dropped by mainline for distribution among the regionals...we kept a small passenger bus out there for some shelter and heat...some things happened in that bus and they were also caught

Something just popped into my head today and I think it would really fit in well with your channel. Anyway I think it would be really interesting for you to look at information on older flights that have had issues and go over the things going on and put it into a perspective of a pilot who flies today. Looking at the information of the things that happened and apply it to maybe a plane you fly regularly.
I say this because when I was 10 years old there was a major accident not far from where I was. United flight 232 to be specific. The plane had an engine malfunction and catastrophic failure mid flight that caused both primary and secondary systems to fail. To survive some people actually jumped out of the plane into a corn field. I have to wonder if a modern plane would have had similar issues or if it would even be possible to fly the plane as well as the pilots did. I am sure there are a lot of other things that have happened in the past and have made major changes to modern planes because of what we learned but would we still have the same issues or not if it was to happen again.
As I said flight 232 is a specific case where we have a TON of information as well as video of the plane coming in and it has been claimed as a true miracle so many people survived. I also remember it being on the news and tons of people trying to head down to the airport to see. Sadly the guy my mother was living with at the time was one of the gawkers who tried to drive down there with me in the backseat.

    • @mikoto7693
      @mikoto7693 2 роки тому

Yeah there are quite a few things that caused massive changes to try to prevent it from ever happening again. There are three that I know offhand. Because a tiny little metal disc wasn’t replaced after doing maintenance, the mechanism that controls the rudder totally spun off the jack scew entirely during flight. This both removed the pilots ability to control and move the rudder and locked it at a very extreme angle. There was no way to save that plane. So they redesigned the entire mechanism to make sure it can’t happen again.
Another example is when a plane developed a slow air leak, so the pilots got the checklist to try to troubleshoot the problem but because it didn’t say “put your oxygen mask on first” they didn’t and succumbed to hypoxia.

I used to commute by air (5-6 days a week), all over the country, and I've lost count how many times me and my wife has whiled away the long fights;-) I know it's very different today (today, planes are just buses in the sky. It used to be really nice!), but I have zero doubt it will forever continue in some amount...*

My wife must be a pilot. She's always playing the fatigue card.

25 years ago, I was access control security at jfk. One time, while I inspecting a 747 passenger area before flight, a female security started getting too close, and we actually ended up grinding. She offered to do more, but I was worried other people were going to start boarding any moment. So I know that sht happens in airplanes.

OMG Kelsey 😂 It's currently 4:20am in Florida, my husband is sleeping next to me and I'm laughing my butt off with the Grinder story trying not to wake him up 😂🤣
