I have been married to a Argentinian lady for 27 years living in London and moving to Argentinian in the next couple of years. This channel is is very informative.
You're such a lovely person, Chanel, always smiling, enthusiastic and positive, so it is a pleasure to watch your vids and adventures in B.A. Please never change. We are fortunate to have you among us. Stay well.
Hey, I recommend you guys spend a weekend day in the Plaza Arenales area (Villa Devoto) if you're looking for new neighborhoods to explore. The park is very nice and there's coffee shops and restaurants around it and on nearby areas. The neighborhood is very walkable and there's even a small "peatonal" on the way to the Devoto San Martin Line station from the park. There's a very nice church called "Basilica San Antonio de Padua" 3 blocks away from the park to visit also. One of the streets that's next to the park is called "Nueva York" btw so it might be a nice photo opp next to a street sign lol
YES! la Mezzeta is a cult classic! you can try "El corte" as well (ex mezzeta employs who keep the recipee xd) it's similar but a little bit fatty and better imo. awsome video as always
That was a wonderful vlog! Happy Mothers 👩 Day to you in Argentina! That Frappuccino from Lucciano's 😫 was amazing looking 👌 that looked so good 9:49 and that song was the best hispanic sounding salsa rendition I've ever heard to be fair 9:19 - 10:10 🥲 That was cool. But, yes, loved the video. Great to see you and Michael again and your pets. 😎 And congratulations 🎊 on 10K Subscribers! A lot of work went into getting to that milestone.
This year I spent some time living 10 blocks from Plaza Saavedra and it was a nice find since as a child I resided far from this part of BA (Martinez, to be more precise). It is fun to see that you also enjoyed Saavedra with your bf while having a picnic. Keep the good work Chanel
Buenasss, Chanel! lovely video 💜 I'm sorry you're going through rent troubles, I come from some of your previous vids where you talked about it more and unfortunately due to inflation or the general state of the country economy wise, rent prices can go up really in whichever way the owner sees fit. I don't know where you're living currently (I had assumed Palermo 😅 I stand corrected! I think it's mostly what we all assume for foreigners), but I think some of these places may fit you and Michael well, good luck with your search! ♥️ Villa Urquiza, it leaves you closer to Saavedra and outer north west Buenos Aires let's say where there are loaaads of parks and it's a rather more secure family area than others. It's also becoming a hub for many foreigners too (most of my friends from other Latin American countries live in Villa Urquiza for some reason!) as it becomes kinda like a new Palermo ish, with loads of cafecitos everywhere and still green spaces. It'd be convenient to find maybe a place close by to the last station of subte B (Rosas) which is there in Urquiza, in the same spot as the train Mitre which allows you to go to Belgrano, Palermo, Retiro. You're perhaps a bit more further out of the city center but I think it's totally worth it to not have a crazy city stress life vibes of Microcentro. Again, don't know where you're living right now, but the more chill vibe seems like your thing! Another place similar to Villa Urquiza but that I would say is a hidden gem and quite beautiful is Coghlan; it's this little barrio in between Villa Urquiza and Belgrano that is just very quiant and peaceful and fuuuuulll of beautiful arboledas, so streets full of beautiful full trees and cafecitos. There are many houses that make it feel more like a barrio and homey place compared to other city-like barrios, and still plenty of buildings to rent a department. It's a really small area compared to most others but really worth taking a look at imo, and it's not all that known to foreigners so maybe you'll find better prices than in other places? (though it is considered a bit of A Nice Place between argentinos so maybe that offsets this a bit? idk! 😂). And my last rec is Belgrano and Villa Crespo. I don't have as much experience with these barrios but they're still sound choices for what I hear. Belgrano has many different areas inside of it that differ one from the other, as a whole I take it as more of a fancy barrio with more old people or family residential vibes, but it's still full of cafecitos and plazas like the whole city is, just perhaps with not much of anything particularly special, but again, it's pretty big so there's many lil different things in there. And Villa Crespo is a great place in terms of location, you're in the heart of the city but not in the craziness of microcentro, close by to the subtes, and for a few years it has been gaining that fancy vibe from Palermo with like, having popular places to eat, lots of cafecitos ofc, a lot of young people in a working life stage of their lives (so NOT much like Palermo in the sense of the young people night party culture part). anywaaaay, super long comment! thinking about moving can be so stressful, I'm sorry you're having to consider that but I think you can find something better for the price they're asking you to pay now, and maybe get to experience life in a new barrio, I think that's overall a nice thing too once the stress of moving wears off. either way, good luck in your search! hasta tu próximo video! 💜
Chanel! Congrats on 10K, you really deserve it and your channel it's amazing ❤ Maybe a good idea to celebrate would be a Q&A and a food tasting video all in one, like a long video with both sections, I think it could be fun to do.
When your cat started meowing at around 6 minutes, my dog that was on my lap started watching the speakers trying to figure out why there was a cat there. :D And yes, mosquitoes are very so very annoying. :) If you want to see a really cool feria, you should go to Mataderos on a Sunday. Probably the best Feria in CABA. :) Pizza shouldn't be eaten with a fork and a knife. You should eat it with your hands. That being said, Brozziano's isn't a good pizza and definitely not the typical. If you want to try really good pizzas, one of the best places is El Cuartito (Talcahuano 937, 2 blocks before Stanta Fe, close to Tribunales) or Guerrín (Corrientes 1368, close to the Uruguay subway station). Those places are big but both get PACKED all day long. Guerrín stays open until really late at night, specially on weekends, because a lot of people go there after the theater (Corrientes IS the street of theaters, after all). :) Congratz on the 10k :D
A celebration? My American friend once thought of setting off some fireworks on July 4th by the American embassy.. haha, sure way to get in trouble.. haha 🤣🤣
My daughter’s husband has an uncle near the US Embassy. They were having a party when we went to the uncle’s house, and it was nearly impossible to get there for dinner, as they stopped all the busses, and the taxis didn’t want to go there with all the road closures.
Another very nice video, glad you have been enjoying a lot the City! In case they want to know this weekend will be free entrance to the Argentina Palermo Polo Open with matches at 2PM and 4:30 PM, is considered one of the best polo tournaments around the world. Saludos!!
Hola Chanel!
Increíble, no? Jaja!

Hey Chanel! I live around the Saavedra/Núñez neighborhood! It's extremely nice, safe and dog friendly, although it's becoming more and more hip as time goes by (Specially Saavedra). I would just tell you to avoid staying in areas near Barrio Mitre, a tiny slum behing the Dot shopping center. Other than that, it's a great option for moving!
What about u moving out to Olivos, Buenos Aires? You should check Zona Norte, Olivos, Martínez. The river is pretty close and is less noisy than the Capital. Is 30 min from Obelisco.
I would recommend you to moving to other areas to truly live the argentinian way. For example, La Plata is a great place to live and for sure you can get a home for the same amount u r paying today in that area. El Tigre can also be a nice place to love for a while to experiment other areas
Buena ubicacion, conexion a otras areas y seguridad.
If you like strong flavors (I love them) I recommend the rockefort pizza (or blue cheese) and if you can add some anchovies... delicacy of the gods.. Oh by the way I like the Neapolitan one better than the fugazzetta 😋
11:35 you are right, la mezzetta is the best fugazetta i'd say in the world (because fugazetta is an argentinian invention, just like sorrentinos that don't exist in sorrento 😁)
You should try Banchero, it is like another classic pizza place. There is one in Av. Corrientes where the theaters are, so that its a nice plan. Villa Urquiza is a very good barrio to live in if you dont have to commute to the center every day for work.
Near parque Saavedra is the principal office quere you can get your DNI. It's called Registro de las personas. It's know that most paper (tramites as we call it) can be done faster there. Im paraguaya living in Arg for decades and I know some stuff about all this
You have a nice Saavedra pronunciation, you pronounced it like "Se-i-ve-dra" and the is R maybe a bit too overpronounced, just a small comment don't be discouraged; it's still understandable and I know it's hard to learn a new language, I'm currently learning russian and it's tough haha. I have high hopes for my country, and I hope you keep enjoying it!
Hello! I have asked this question before but have received no response. I am seeking information about the type of job that you do, as a teacher and with curriculum, as I am seeking similar employment. Could you please provide some guidance? It would be most appreciated.
Using fork and knife for pizzas is a smart mannerism of high.classed folks, showing they have been brought up exquisitely regarding formal behaviour at the dinner table.
If you wanna go to Palermo 1000 times in a row, go. Since when do you have to give explanations on where you wanna go? Just be happy and do what you like.
Hello!!

Have u visited parque chacabuco? U might like it. Pedro goyena is nearby and u can have an ice cream at rapanui ❤
I didn´t even realize I wasn´t subscribed up until you mentioned the 10k situation! he
😂😂 Thanks for “officially” being a part of the community!! ❤️❤️
So we are close to Summer here in Argentina, and living in BS AS means time for Ice cream, and cold diet coke soda or juice.
Absolutely!!!
Thank you :)
Visit Belgrano R area arround the train station and Melian Avenue
We love that area!
Mezeetta!!!!!!
😍😍😍
Okay maybe a bit out there of a suggestion but have you ever thought of doing a meetup??
Congratulations on 10k!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
10k 👍🏻

You said there is a large Italian population? Traditional Italian pizza I think has tomato on it.
Very good pronunciation of "Buenos Aires".. just like an argentinian.
You have to come to Mendoza
Hello! I have asked this question before but have received no response. I am seeking information about the type of job that you do, as a teacher and with curriculum, as I am seeking similar employment. Could you please provide some guidance? It would be most appreciated.
The reason you don't like Palermo during the day is what the residents of Palermo love. We couldn't live here any other way 😁
Whats the problem with Palermo everyday??
Nothing truthfully!
Every time you eat a pizza using silverware, a little cat dies in Italy. 😪😪
Using fork and knife for pizzas is a smart mannerism of high.classed folks, showing they have been brought up exquisitely regarding formal behaviour at the dinner table.
felicidades 10k, ver teatro en av corrientes talvez
❤️❤️❤️
Linda
If you wanna go to Palermo 1000 times in a row, go. Since when do you have to give explanations on where you wanna go? Just be happy and do what you like.
4:43 Wait a second... Hawaii is in the Pacific zone?
To disagree, there aren't many parks in BA :(
Hello!!
"To have tomatoes on a pizza is a statement" lmfao I do have to agree as born Argentine.
When you start avoiding Palermo is when you become a local and you are not a tourist anymore.😂
😂😂😂
10 k!!
