Yes it’s a surface cleaner, but you can send near boiling water through it just fine (assuming it’s of quality). At the pressures it’s being ran, you can “steam” clean without it being close to boiling.

There’s a lot of comments about this being a pressure washer attachment and not a steam cleaner. I think it’s just a breakdown in terms. I would call this thing a Steam Jenny, which is a pressure washer that heats the water. It’s steamy, and has steam in the name, so I think you could still call it a “steam cleaner” or a “pressure washer” and be correct either way.

Councils do have cleaning equipment like this and spend hundreds of thousands each cleaning up after lazy nasty people who litter everywhere rather than put the rubbish in bins or take it home. The idiots who graffiti everywhere cost residents thousands as well. You pay for it in your council tax. Idiots like those who drop litter, spit, urinate in the street, graffiti every blank space are the reason council tax rises every year and the reason the area never improves.

Honestly, it’s totally different Cleaning dirt than it is paint… I believe that this was a demo, the brick looks brand new, and I think they sprayed it with basically dirt/muddy, crud first… Let it dry, and then simply cleaned it within a few hours. The brick is brand new, so unless they had a tornado, I don’t see how it could get that dirty. And it’s perfectly dirty as well… Every single spot of it has crap all over it… That’s not typically how it goes. With the condition of the brick, it’s hard to imagine that something could get dirty so quickly. Nothing wrong with that by the way, that’s what I would do if I was doing a demonstration.
Some of the spray paint is oil based, though, that would not work… And it doesn’t look like they’ve used any chemicals to get this stuff off, strictly steam, and what not… You can do pressure washing, but once again, it’s not super easy to get some of this stuff off, unless it is latex with a high psi.
I do think that is a pressure washer by the way with the attachment that you can usually use on cement, patio, etc.… Not sure why they using the word “steam” in the description. Usually means that it is at a hot temperature, no different than when you remove wallpaper. You use a steamer obviously. So I don’t think this is steam at all, I think it is simply an adapter you put on your pressure, washer… And I think they used a pressurepump to put dirt water, something along those lines on this brand new brick. If not, I would love to see the whole video to see that the entire wall is like this… Lol.
