Even after Colin Quinn and Tom Green (who knew Norm more than Joe) both told him that it was a total set up, Joe says he doesn't think so...he just can't imagine that Norm was working on that level. Norm was not just acomic genius, he was an actual genius. He absolutely lovedmessing with people. I cried the day he died. He helped shape my sense of comedy and I am forever thankful to him

My favourite thing about Norm was the SNL weekend update. He would just say the raunchiest joke ever and pause. The show didn’t go on till he got a laugh.

Norm and Joe worked in the same profession, knew the same people, lived in the same city, and the only time Norm apparently ever interacted with Joe was twice by sheer accident, unable to escape.

Norm is maybe my favorite comedian ever. The dude was the king. His delivery was and still is unmatched. I mean he would tell jokes that were just straight up. Not funny. But it worked. Because it was Norm. The Moth Joke is a perfect example. Nobody else could tell that joke. Nobody.
