@@realdragon Fats are more healthier than what a lot of people think, Grains on the other hand can make you really fat especially if you follow the food pyramid
People who eat animal fat get more fat soluble vitamins, including vitamin D, which has been associated with good immune response to viruses. Additionally, those who minimize carbs reduce inflammation, and so reduce symptoms of infection, making the course of an infection easier. Other important nutrients, such as vitamin B12, are in animal food sources such as beef, but not in plants.

@@blahblah6725 Well the real advantage of the 'my plate' was that it showed you what an actual portion of each thing was, unlike the food pyramid which just told you to eat 4 times as much corn as everything else. Like, an actual serving of rice and other grains is 1/2 cup, or like 3 spoonfuls, because it's so compact; whereas a serving of meat is usually the size of a pack of cards. So being able to see what was reasonable, instead of just wolfing down 8 playing-card sized portions of rice (plus whatever vegetables and other food you had) for every one pork chop, helped immensely.

When Southpark becomes a better source of health info than your doctor, it's time to wake up - something's seriously wrong with the world.
No wrong info

Did he say well-balanced vaccine?
Yes. There’s a bit of truth, a meat based diet confers superior immunity.

Obama didn't do jack
The food pyramid didn't get you to eat 4 times as much corn. And none of that is actually true. My plate did not have any real advantages

Put grains on the bottom as the least, and then meat, then plants and vegetables and fruit, and cut out dairy and sugar.
