BTW if you are worried about getting a few scratches on your Cartier. Cape Cod polish, some scotch tape, and a small green 3M Scotch emery pad will help you maintain a slight touch up every 8-12 months of everyday or occasional use. It will not ruin your watch or disfigure the shape of the finish. Just be gentle.
I love your collection! You can really see your progression of the hobby over time. It’s extremely thoughtful and well balanced. I aspire to own a Pelagos 39 one day!
@@TellingTimeYT most Rolexes don't do this anymore if you look at the new submariners and explorers compared to the old. But it's an aesthetic thing. Often the stock photos on their websites don't show this because of the lighting in a studio, but in real life at many angles it looks like they are two different metals which is frankly aesthetically disgusting. Some people are more about the history of watches. Some people are more about the specifications and the engineering. Some people are all about the status. And some people care about the aesthetics.
I got sucked in the Casio God tier malarky. I have a 5600 too. It works well with a hoodie, jeans and trainers. In some ways I think of them as a fashion watch brand. On paper they are spec monsters but pressing that recessed top left button is a nightmare - especially if you wear it on your left wrist. And as the screen is easier to read at an angle from the right wrist, I can only conclude that it's a right-hand watch.
That Tudor 39mm is so amazing. I saw on at an AD and it's perfect. This is as close as we can get to a modern Tudor Submariner from the 70's. I hope Tudor will produce a blue matte dial. This one is a winner and a future classic IMO.
Exceptional Collection. Love seeing small collections with great range. Please don't be afraid to get scratches on these, WEAR THE HECK OUT OF THEM; it is a privilege to own such beautiful timepieces and they should be enjoyed thoroughly. Remember, scratches make them uniquely yours.
Your collection is nice. I would recommend the Zodiac Super SeaWolf out of the watches you mentioned at the end, but I would not get the Squale 1521 and the Nivada F77. Had experience with both and you will be disappointed.
Hey. Great collection. Coincidentally I have a friend/colleague whose husband got her the same Longines as an engagement watch. She recognized my Pelagos 39 at a research retreat earlier this year and that started the conversation. This is an interesting coincidence. I’m going to ask her tomorrow at work to see if that Longines is indeed hers 🤣.
Impressive collection. That said, I think you should distill the collection down to four watches and wear the heck out of them. My recommendation(s) would be 1) Cartier Santos de Cartier; 2) Rolex OP; 3) Tudor Pelagos; and 4) the G-Shock. It’s criminal to have your Santos in the box! It is the ultimate GADA. It should be on your wrist! [Your wife’s Longines is a beautiful watch. I also like the Seiko SOLAR a lot.]. All the best!
Thank you. I want to keep my collection at around 7-8 watches ultimately because theres just that many brands that I respect and adore! I will be doing a video on my watch collecting philosophy soon so keep an eye out for that 🙂.
Dan Henry is technically a homage looking like the Universal Geneve. Your collection will be stronger selling or giving away the homage watches and seikos since you already have luxury pieces.
@@TellingTimeYTLongine Spirit Zulu Time given you want a GMT...those are a true travellers GMT...They also have a wide range of chronographs across various collections ranging from about £2500 up to £6000. The Avigaton BigEye being my personal favourite. Beautiful watch. Sinn make some cool Fliegers as well as an alternative classic look.
Mate, after a couple of times, I know you have a 6.5" wrist. It would be very strange if your wrist size changed during a video. But nevertheless, nice collection.
I have a 6.5inch wrist. the OP34 fits my wrist very well! It does wear slightly small compared to the OP36 due to how the case is shaped and the dual batons at the 3,6 and 9 but I like the vintage look of the OP34.
Unsolicited advice ~ consider adding the BRAC-91 bracelet from Longisland watches to your Seiko SNK809 it will breathe new life into it and you’ll want to wear it!
Great collection. Personally I would trim your collection down to 5, the gshock, prospex, pelagos, cartier and the OP. I also think a DJ36 or Explorer 1 36 would be great additions.
@@TellingTimeYTjust wait a couple of years, prices are coming down slowly and they are an easy pick up from the AD right now. I think the explorer 36 will be available for under retail in the future!
Small balanced collection with a story behind each watch. Nice video man.

If you look close at the Seiko diver's bezel, you can see that only from 11-1 o'clock has 5 one-minute divisions and the rest only have 4!!
If only the lug top brushing orientation matched the bracelet end links on the Tudor Black Bay 36.
I get that but it seems like a common thing even on watches like the Rolex Explorer! Thanks for watching mate.

preposterously enjoyable clicks from that Pelagos bezel.
Great choices there! the 36mm case size really looks good on you. Thanks for the video.

Gorgeous collection, bro! Thank you for sharing. Wear them in good health.

Great video, great collection!

The 40 or the 42mm longlines master collection moon phase with the point diamond index would look excellent with your wife’s watch as a pair piece!
I have been keeping my eye on that one! Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching :)

@sushivision Thats a great story! And the Longines Master Moonphase is definitely great watch. Thanks for watching the video 🙂
I recommend the Longines Spirit Zulu Time for a GMT and the Baume & Mercier Riviera for an integrated sports watch
Those are certainly some nice pieces, thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Awesome Collection 😍

You hv the best 3 time-only watch in your collection: The OP, Santos and the Pelagos39.
Dump the rest. Mayb keep the GShock for a starter
