Love it. Burns one of my favorite builds but counter burn, not that this is one necessarily, is my top favorite. Love viper too, I agree it’s not the best at sorcery speed, but it puts in work and has won me a few games on its own.
39:01 because its an enchantment land, so it counts towards the enchantment number for the one that gives +1/+1 for every enchantment under your control and triggers eerie on etb - no idea if it's worth it though, especially in the aggressive boros version
Very nice win against domain. I lucked out against it with a big red version that runs Razorkin needle heads and they had 2 beanstalks out I think I dealt at least 7-8 damage to them.😊
Viper definitely felt meh whenever it was in hand Urabrask is amazing with Virtue but probably a lil too slow vs aggro? It's def. worth it if you squeeze it in, and then i'd probably go heavier on cantripy spells and just drop the Viper completely for another instance of the ping on spellcast effect maybe?
Im suprised you won so many. You'd think enchantment hate would be on the rise, overlords/caretakers talent/ boros/bw Enchantment aggro . It's been an enchantment meta for a while.
Put the blue talent in instead of that 2 mana bounce spell, or put the saga that lets you cast a 2 mana for free and then mill your opponent and finally recast a burn spell. Or you can do the red talent that lets you cycle when you cast non creature spells and then upgrades to make said spells cost 1 mana less and upgrades again to increase your burn by +2
I do like the idea of izzet spell slinger but this deck does not have a good way to deal with life gain or hexproof players an idea is to play screaming nemesis so you can shock it so that they cant gain life and you could play get out over malcome so you have a counterspell for leylines that you bounced but you can also bounce an overlord and recast it
Try swapping out the Scalding Vipers for The Tale of Tamiyo. Draw engine and you get to play a bunch of your burn spells again from the graveyard on the 4th chapter.
In regard to bouncing stuff, why don't you wait until at the beginning of combat before attackers are declared so they don't get another opportunity to move to their attack step and have to go to Main 2 before being able to cast anything? Otherwise sweet deck!
16:12 I haven’t watched what your about to do to this person, but I really really wanna get aviator goggles so when I know I’m about to get a huge pop-off turn like this I put them down over my eyes like Chandra
Can't recall the name but isn't there a new 2 red 2 drop that deals any non combat damage it receives to any target and if it hits an opponent they can't get any more life for the rest of the game? Perhaps that would be a decent replacement for the viper to counter ancient cornucopia, harvest, carrot cake and so on from getting people out of the damage range of the deck

You got so lucky vs that orzhov deck. If he top decked an untapped land he would have gotten to reanimate valgavoth. And your deck cant touch it bc it has ward sacrifice 3 non land permanents.

What do you think about Artist's Talent in this in place of Malcolm? Too clunky?

Thoughts on running 4x TJ ping lands (e.g. Eroded Canyon) as a way to keep from drawing dead? Or no room for tap lands?
